| Attack after attack. That was all that was being done, no one was distracting and orders were not being followed. The entire thing was a fucking mess and the brute could see that this was not going to end well. So many jaws were attacking and there could be nothing doing about it, well maybe perhaps if someone could knock all their head together. Maybe that would work, but quite frankly that would only distract them more. Those set on distracting were only attacking and not catching the moose's eye much. They were launching and trying to bite, which wasn't going to work. At least, however, they were trying to aim for the right spots. Pharika, a fae whom was supposed to be distracting according to Erabus' orders, was now in his way. The timing was wrong, the beast was not distracted enough to not think about his hind legs. And he surely had seen, from those eyes placed on the sides of his face, her jump there. He lashed his tail, his move was stolen and was terribly placed at that. And somehow he knew that he was going to have to try to clean her mistake up. The other female Omega, Emily, had leapt up and tried to land on the Bulls back. A dumb-ass move that somehow, if landed, could be beneficial. . Her jaws would be latched onto its skin and all that Desoto could hope for her now was that, if she succeeded, she was not thrown. The male, whom was supposed to be blind, had managed to grip the prey's shoulder. But then the moose let out a sudden snort of complaint as the dark pelted fae landed and he could see the move it was going to use next. There was only one person in line that he could reach: the other omega female. The moose was going to buck. The action would hit anyone near the rear of the moose. Although it might not appear like so, the legs were powerful. one hit from them and you could be out; injured, dead, or, very unlikely, unharmed. Since he was only a foot or two away from the omega female, Desoto lunged out, his jaws attempting to grip Pharika's tail to pull her out of reach. Her attack had failed, and the prey was making his own. It was time to move. If he succeeded with his goal, she would be out of reach from those hooves and still be free to attack. There was nothing he could do in time for the supposed blind wolf or darker pelting female atop the back of the beast. It was up to them to either hold on, or let go. He turned from the she-wolf then, keeping low to the ground and trying to find a weak point. At the moment, his original target was not accessible. And being hit with those legs was not something he would want to do during this whole shebang. Instead he aimed farther up. The place where he was going to hit before was sensitive, and hard to shake off if done correctly. However, there was a similar place on the front legs of the animal. He would aim there. Creeping forward he kept his tail tucked between his legs, his ears flat and his body stretched in a straight board as he advanced. When the midnight pelted brute got close enough, he would try to dart beneath the moose, out of reach of the hind legs. If that was accomplished he would aim for the place where the leg came out from the body, in the gap between, and clamp his jaws down there. This would limit its movement in the front left area of its body. Too keep himself safe, his tail was tucked, ears flat and his body would be placed out of reach of the hoof that could rear back and strike him. He still had to worry about the moose's mass though. If he decided to lay down in attempt to crush him, Desoto would have to make a dash to freedom. However, that move would also land and easier targeting tactic for the rest of the pack. Either way, it was not known how his move was to be played out. ____________________________________ Attack: Dash beneath the moose and strike at the "arm pit" (I don't know what to call it xD) of the moose Defense: Tail tucked, ears flat, body placed away from range of attacked leg Injuries: None

| She had kept quiet for the duration of her time in Agavos, very few seeking her attention for cures and remedies. There were other healers that had joined, though she'd failed to learn their names. Anti-socialism suited her well as she preferred to remain quiet and unseen in the shadows. Of all the professions in a pack, the Healer was the one with the second-least amount of contact with others. The first was of course a Warrior. They merely had to train and fight and protect, there was no necessity in maintaining deep social relationships with others beyond perhaps knowing the names of other warriors and their superiors. All other social contact was purely for the sake of ones socioemotional wellbeing. The Healer could treat their patient, few as they were, with a clinical logic and maintaining an emotional distance. A Hunter had to be able to work both alone and in a team. Their ability to provide for the pack hinged upon their ability to know their fellow Hunters and predict their movements. A Caretaker, well, a Caretaker literally had to puppy-sit other wolves kids. They had the most social interaction of them all. But not Ashlen, she preferred the shadows and keeping the herb stockpiles full. The green-eyed fae had gathered all she could from the Training Pasture and snow slunk towards the bank of a wide river in a place called Pangae's Gully. She searched for moss or any other plants that preferred a more hydrated environment. There was a howl a ways off, telling her to come closer, to help. It sounded like one of the healers. Perhaps he needed help tending a wounded friend. She sighed, If it must be me, then let it be so. She crouched, wriggling her shoulders in preparation before leaping forth, bounding in the direction of his call. It wasn't long before the shy creature found most of her pack - almost entirely composed of unfamiliar faces - surrounding and attacking a very large moose. She hadn't intended to end up here, she was a mediocre huntress at best. Her talents lay with calmly and clinically applying herbs to wounds, easing the pain of a thrashing Warrior who would likely never thank her. But she was sure to have been spotted by now, it would do no good to be seen abandoning her pack in a hunt to run and hide. Resigned to her fate of a surely bloody outcome, the female lowered into a half crouch before setting forth upon the much larger beast. It clearly had been injured some already and two wolves were presently making their attacks, aiming for the shoulders while another appeared to be riding on its back. This Healer wasn't particularly fast, nor particularly accurate and so her wild jump into the foray ended up aimed at the creatures rump, far above her head. She kept her jaw open wide, teeth prepared to strike flesh and paws outstretched should they be needed in a desperate attempt at salvaging her position. Her movements were sloppy and unpractised, not the most encouraging sight for her pack mates. ____________________________________ Attack: A half-hearted attack on the Moose's rump Defense: None Injuries: None |

| Pharika's jaws missed their mark by a hair lengths as the moose bucked and shook. And as the hoof came up she jerked her body to the side. Though she didn't get completely out of range the hoove barely clipped her shoulder, causing her to yelp and jump back a bit further. Flexing her shoulder she noted a small cut and some soreness. It would probably bruise and maybe scar, but at least it wasn't broken. Letting out a snarl she cirled more to the Moooses left side, charging herself forward, keeping herself low until she got close enough to the moose to jump at its ribs. Lunging forward she kept her ears pinned, attempting to latch herself onto its softer side skin. If successful she would do something similar to what she had planed to do before, and pull her legs up close to her body. Which would keep her well out of range of its horns and hooves. She knew this fight wasn't quite going their way just yet but this pack was strong. They had good hunters and warriors, and even good healers. She also knew it could take hours for a pack to take down a full grown bull moose. They could do this. She knew they could. It took her a minute to realize it but neither of the higher ups were here. This, it was a test. They were somewhere. Watching. Waiting. Assessing each and every one of them. She had to survive this, she had to contribute. This was her chance. Her chance to be something better. Her chance to be a warrior. And she would not let this chance slip through her paws. Not this time. She was done being an omega. ____________________________________ Attack: Attempting to latch onto the Mooses left side. If successfull she will claw and bite at its ribs. If successfull in her attack she will pull her legs flush against the moose to keep out of range of his hooves and horns Injuries: Minor cut on her right shoulder with some soreness and eventually bruising |

| It was madness they were going to get no where like this random attack's here and there might tire the beast out due to blood loss, Newt listened as Breeze began to speak and then motioned for him to keep helping the two male Finnick and Orion, the tall lanky canine launched himself towards the moose jaws open and ready to clamp down onto the creature attempting to help the two with trying to snap the leg. Newt's jaws latched onto the moose's shoulder shaking it violently to help them out the taste of the fur was quiet unsettling but the blood was not, the tri-colored male did the best to keep his jaws attached to the beast's leg but with all of the bucking and shaking of the moose's head it was hard. Newt realized where Breeze was going with this whole idea it was a good one the canine was soon shaking off of the beast from all of it's movement, he didn't want to leave the blind Healer Orion but swiftly moved towards breeze to help out with the right leg. If this went as planned then they might just be able to injure the moose enough to where it was barely able to walk and then have someone go in for the throat. Once again the tri-colored brute's jaws clamped onto the flesh of the large beast tugging at it as the dusty grey warrior was working on the brown beast's shoulder. Newt's heart was racing adrenaline coursing through his body it was an exciting task but he did have to admit he was not only concerned for his safety but his friends and pack mates safety, this was a dangerous task one wrong move and he or someone he knew could be dead. Newt continued to tug on the moose's leg in attempt to rip away at least some of the flesh, or at least throw it off of balance. The brute spread out in a wide stance, tucking his tail, and pinning his ears back against his skull. The thought of dying ran through his mind once again horrifying images running through his mind also, the thoughts and images only pushed him to tug harder at the leg now attempting to dislocate it if he had any luck at doing so. The canine was not aware what going on around him he was rather focused on helping Breeze out as for Finnick and Orion he had no clue how it was coming over on the other side of the beast, a blind healer and a sight seeing hunter. ____________________________________ Attack: Launching towards the moose's left shoulder shaking violently in attempt to dislocate shoulder. Then moving to help Breeze by launching himself at the right leg in attempt to tear away flesh and cause bleeding. Defense: Tail tucked, Wide Stance, and ears pinned back against skull. | Finnick was beginning to pant as he ran alongside the moose. As the blind healer latched onto the shoulder of the beast, the brute moved forward toward the monster's front legs. He had his yellow fangs bared and attempted to nip at the moose's right leg while keeping an eye on Orion to make sure nothing would get the blind brute injured. AS he ran alongside the beast to distract him from what the others were doing behind him, he noticed the dark male known as Desoto aim for the spot where the moose's skin of his leg trailed down to his barrel. He thought it was a brilliant idea as it was a soft spot on the beast and may stop him from running any longer as his jaws would prevent the joint from continuing the running motion of the right leg. Waiting for the right moment to launch himself forward, he kept checking back on Orion. He knew the healer could handle himself, but he couldn't help to keep an eye on his blind wolf to make sure no injuries were inflicted on the brute. Then the Caretaker Newt was ordered to help the two males take over the right flank. He felt the brute's fur brush his as he shot himself up towards the right shoulder with Orion. After making sure his pack mates were safe where they were, he continued to attempt to trip the beast. ____________________________________ Attack: Attempting to nip at the right front leg and the "arm pit" of the moose Defense: Tail tucked and ears pinned back Injuries: None as of yet |

| It had taken Twelve a while to catch up with his pack mates to where their task was to unfold due to his distance from the destination. He had been scouting around the very edges of the territory, curious to discover more about these new lands when the distance howl of his new alpha had reached perked ears. From then he had made his way to the howl's destination at a steady trot, originally considering sprinting there but soon discarding the idea at the thought that he would probably need energy for whatever was to happen. A new pack, only one alpha and an Elite, it was likely it was to fill up some high rank spots and slight excitement sparked up in the Warrior's stomach, he had never become noticed or that known at all in Helidos, hopefully here he could make a difference. He now stood tall, muscles rippling beneath his thick fur and amber orbs shining in the magnificent sunlight. Nearby he could spot the Alpha Desmond along with the Elite Fel and a younger wolf, probably an apprentice. If the Alpha had noticed him he would see Twelve give a respectful dip of the head to mark his presence before turning to take in the scene. A huge moose blundered about, wolves standing tightly around it, others hanging from the beast. Twelve clawed at the ground with anticipation before trotting over it, the task was clear. Take down the beast. If you proved yourself worthy of a rank it would be given to you. Twelve sucked in a deep breath, it was his chance to become noticed. "Warrior Twelve" He stated as he neared the others, letting any that cared know of his name and status, who knew- it could become useful. He kept his calculating gaze fixed on the scene, interest flickering in his amber orbs. Hopefully he hadn't arrived too late for the alpha to take any interest in him, he wasn't overly ambitious or anything but no one could deny that a proper title was something good to be able to state that you earned. There wasn't much time, the beast was charging and wolves were clinging on to its sides and shoulder determinedly. The occasional buck caused most to stay clear of its rump. Adrenaline had already begun to pump around his body and Twelve ran his tongue across his pearly fangs curiously before springing into action. It had to be slowed down or it would be almost impossible to hold on and kill the creature. His next move would be extremely risky but he was determined to make this creature fall and with a low growl he darted straight at the large herbivore. He had intended to startle the creature into halting but it had already stopped and Twelve cursed lowly, now all startling could do would be to cause the creature to make some frantic move, unless...Twelve took a deep breath, this could go two ways and he was willing to take the risk to make it successful. One had to take risks in life, right? "Better hold on" He muttered- directed at the wolves clinging to the beast not knowing if they'd heard or not. He waited for an opening when the moose turned his large head to try remove one of the many clinging to its upper side before leaping forward and making a lunge for its exposed neck. If successful he'd cling on for a few moments, try to tear as much flesh as he could, angling as close to the throat as possible but unable to reach it without risking getting his skull bashed in by the creatures head. Time was precious and he would once again let go and spring away hopefully before it had time to turn back and hit it with them giant antlers or a hoof. He would have to keep darting at it. He snarled and sprang forward, snapping at it from the front before hopping back again. "I'm going to try make it rear up, someone be at the rear end ready to try cause damage to it's rear leg if it rears up so you can unbalance it but be quick you might only have seconds!" He yelled, praying someone would hear him and those near the front half would hold on and keep doing damage if the others were unsuccessful it might possibly fall when landing back on its front legs if they were damaged enough. Taking a deep breath he went at it from the front again, trying to snap at its front legs and even leaping up at its chest once he was sure its antlers were at a safe distance before hopping back again. His ears were laying flat against his head and his stance was wide to make sure he had sure balance yet ready to hop nimbly out of the way if needed. He kept leaping forward making his attacks, hoping it would rear back to try and lash out at him so if someone followed his words could make a dive at its rear legs when it was using them to support its full weight, and hopefully he'd mange to get out of the way before it hit him. ____________________________________ Attack: An attempted attack at the neck before making continuos lunges at the front area. | (ooc- sorry it sucks, I had a tough time coming up with muse) Everybody wants to be the hero...
It was disappointing, truly. The faes the warrior had ordered to distract where doing just the opposite, assaulting the bull amid its most unsafe time. The attempts they made where towards the right areas, yet with the herbivore not having his attention elsewhere, the attacks weren't well timed. The warrior, couldn't do anything about it though and with the faes already acting, the brute simply watched. If they got hurt, while he wouldn't necessarily like it to happen, it would be their own fault. The moose let a complaint leave his mouth, the sound threatening as it meant he was getting enraged. Furious, it began raising its rear upwards, trying to keep the pack mostly clear of that area. One hit to their bodies by the sharp hooves would do some great harm even potential death, if they weren't cautious.
The pack was at long last doing some damage to the bull however, more having attacked and latched themselves onto the side and legs and with some of the wolves having took Erabus' order's more seriously, their parts to the hunt where actually gaining progress. Bi-colored orbs still locked onto the large mass of meat in front of him, the brute kept his stance low. Figure near to the ground, enough to have the capacity to keep venturing the grassy region without actually being on the ground. It made it easier to jump and move out of danger's way with brisk movements. Lips peeled back slightly in a snarl, the male would roll his tongue out of his mouth, letting the saliva-covered muscle lick over his bared fangs. Erabus' figure shook with anticipation, the adrenaline through his veins making his heart race as the bull would shake his antlers and move to get the wolves off of him.
From the corner of his eyes, the large brute took notice of a few new wolves appearing. It was nice to see honestly, even if they were a bit late; The more wolves they had, the better chance of taking this beast down. Especially if it's the entire pack working to take it down. With more of the wolves taking attacks near the shoulders and fore-legs, Erabus could feel in his core his opportunity coming. Stalking closer, at the sight of a tawny lighter male striking for the neck, the brute would rush forward. Now or never... Paws hitting the ground heavily as he ran, the warrior would launch himself for the moose just a few seconds after the male Twelve. Pushing up on his hind legs at the last second, the brute would rise up with his jaws spread wide for the bulls side. Teeth would pierce the skin smoothly if he landed his attack, and if so, Erabus' wouldn't stop there. Lifting his body up to avoid hooves at his stomach, the male would dig his dull claws into the beasts skin as he shook his head vigorously to tear muscle and whatever else in the bull he had captive in his mouth.
In an instant however, the warrior would drop off and rush beneath the moose, teeth parted to take hold of the bulls hind left leg. If successful, Erabus would turn his body around swiftly as he came out from underneath with the beast's leg still in his grasp, ears pinned down as he began using all his strength to keep a hold on the moose; Jerking his head backwards while his jaws closed around the leg tighter - Attempting to throw the bull off balance and onto the ground, he pulled the left leg towards the right side of the beast's body. If this all went his way, the bull would fall and in that moment, it would give someone or two to go for the vital neck to kill off the bull which would event the pack feasting and joyous yips all around.____________________________________ Attack: Attempt towards the bulls left side | Whether he made his first attack or not, Erabus would aim for the moose's left leg, pulling it out with him on the bulls right side to throw him off balance & on the ground. Defense: Stance low for quick movement, ears pinned, and if he landed his first attack, Erabus would lift his body up to avoid the rear hooves. Injuries: None yet |

| Everything that happened after that was a blur. Leaping into the air, the bull went wild, bucking and kicking it's vicious hooves out behind him. And straight into Emily. Although it only snagged on her coat, leaving a deep and long gash, she still fell back to the ground. With a sharp smack, her head hit the dirt, rendering her dazed. Her entire vision went completely white, and as the paleness retreated, black began to take over. She was forced to close one of her eyes as blood began to seep over her face, another cut above her eye bleeding. Her hearing was just a faint ringing, and her breathing alongside her heartbeat was the only thing she could listen to. Slowly, both her eyes shut, and she could feel the pain receding. There was always one way to escape hurting, and that was unconsciousness. This one was involuntary though, and finally, silence, but not peace.
She found herself drifting in nothingness. Pitch black surrounded her, and she could hear faint voices in the distance, but she couldn't decipher who they belonged to, nor what they were saying. She couldn't even tell if they were there at all. The ringing was back, but it was louder this time. She felt cold, like ice was running through her veins instead of blood. She wanted to escape this, whatever it was and finally, her wish was granted. And then, she was free.____________________________________ Attack: None Defense: None Injuries: Gash on her shoulder, leaving bone showing and flesh exposed; cut above her left eye, blood seeping down her face to partially blind her; knocked out from head injury; brain swelling slightly, soon to fall into a coma. |

| They were taking too long. Some bickered about what they should do, trying to make themselves the leaders, while others just mindlessly agreed to any party they thought best. But honestly was could Desmond expect when there had been no direct leader? As the bull moose charged them, he shook his head. He wondered at what point Fel would no longer watch them, and take control of the situation herself. He knew she wanted to. Seeing how they were managing, it was a dead giveaway. Someone was going to be killed. They spread out and made their attacks, while others tried to snarl and get the attention of the moose. Desmond could no longer eat, his eyes were on the wild prey beast. ”Let them try, I don’t want any interference unless lives are to be lost. On my command, you are free to join, just wait. The best way to see who we need as what positions is to let them figure it out alone.” Desmond continued to watch, never taking his eyes off the scene before him. So many valiant attacks, and so many of them failed. Green eyes stared in awe as the battle raged on. The Alpha had noticed they were joined by Striker, but said nothing. He was unsure if a pup should see such a thing after going through whatever trouble and bad past it had been. But this was not a wolf. It was food. This bull would feed the whole pack for a good while. To be honest, Desmond grew tired of the deer taste. It would be good to try a new flavor every now and then. The first wolf to land an attack was an off-white colored one. Others shouted his name and the like, but Desmond couldn’t recall it. Something about names and faces really got mixed up in his own. Often times he was surprised he never got Ariste or Fel confused, even though their personalities were not alike and their eyes were opposite of one another. He hadn’t thought about Ariste in a while, curious how she was doing within the borders of Erenyx. He hoped she was scaring the piss out of wolves at her borders constantly.
But as things seemed to grow ever more intense, Desmond was brought back to reality. His little dreamland would have to wait. The male stood on his four paws. He watched as the moose bucked up its hind legs. It reared an attack at any wolves that came towards the rear. But one Omega was not lucky enough to miss the kicks. Right to the shoulder. The kick did not hurt her too much, but the force sent her flying towards the ground. As she landed, her head bounced off the gravel. Blood covered the floor around her, and Desmond knew this was not good. She did not get up, her body quit trying. Growling as he lunged forward, [color=#004c4c}”Damnit Emily..”[/color] He sprang into action, making sure he was far from the bull in his approach. The last thing he needed was to become a target himself. The Alpha moved to the fae, grabbing her by the scruff behind her neck. He tugged just enough to pull her from the danger zone. She was bleeding in two place. One didn’t look all that bad, but the one on her forehead was deep. It could cause serious brain injury if it went uncared for. Grabbing her again, he tossed her torso as high in the air as he could, while he slid his form beneath her. As her weight hit the slope of his back, he stood and moved back towards Fel. As he got to a soft patch of grass, he carefully allowed her form to rest on the ground. Looking to Fel he had no idea what to do at this point. They would have to help now. ”Get the best healer you know, bring them to Emily. Nobody else gets hurt. Got it? Not if we can stop it.” Desmond stood watch over the Omega’s body, waiting for help to arrive. If the moose came towards him, he would do anything to keep it away from her. ”Emily if you can hear me, you are going to be alright. You are pretty foolish when it comes to hunting, so I definitely know what rank I will be granting you now.” Now he would wait and see what happened next. |

| Fel watched the battle silently with her apathetic, analytical glare. Wolves were about to get hurt because of their scatter-brained tactics. It seemed like chaos. No one was doing what they were supposed to be doing. The moose was not distracted, and attacks were flying like a feeble flock of furies – intimidating for the victim but overall ineffective. The fae noticed when the young apprentice came to join them, giving him a quick glance of a greeting. He was one of those Erenyx pups from last year’s litter. Why was he here? She didn’t know, but assumed Desmond had accepted him at the borders. It didn’t really matter. One less pup for Erenyx, and one more for Agavos. Fel turned back to the fight, commenting in a low, bored tone as she saw Emily launch herself in the air, “Idiot.” It all happened as she would expect. Next thing she knew, Desmond was darting away to save her. Was Fel supposed to follow? No, she had been told to stay. And stay she did, until the elite was told to move again.
The brutish fae didn’t even respond in acknowledgement. Time was of the essence, and she needed to move. As the last few words were coming out of Desmond’s mouth, she had already sprung and darted like a bullet towards the ring of battle, though she heard the entirety of the command. Rushing forward, she knew exactly who to call. Although Sofiel was their first and perhaps most experienced healer, her role in the chaos was too great. Orion was equally skilled, and the elite wanted him out of the battle for his own safety. He had proved he could handle himself, but as the moose continued to rage, he was in much greater danger than the rest. It took less than a minute for her to reach them, calling orders into the chaos with her threatening, commanding voice, “Orion, we need your medical assistance. Now!” It would surely take a few seconds for him to get to her so she could lead him to Emily’s side, so she took advantage of the situation and quickly barked out some more orders. “Pharika, do what you were told to do in the first place and distract the moose. Twelve, replace Emily and aid Sofiel in keeping the moose’s eyes on and only on you three.” Her eyes would widen slightly as Ashlen did the most idiotic attack since Emily’s little flying lesson. “Ashlen! Get away from the thing’s ass! Now!” She turned back to the front, “The rest of you, do not get in range of its hooves and hold back on attacking too painfully until Sofiel’s group regains control of the battle. Then go for the weak spots. Desoto, continue to aim for the soft skin between the leg and body. Tear it apart and make him bleed out. Newt and Finnick, carefully aim for the same spot on the hind side. Keep your body out of range of the hooves. Its leg can’t reach forward and up that high to get you, and even if it somehow hits you, it will be a leg and not a sharp hoof. If you feel it move to get you with its antlers, dart away while Breeze takes the chance at its throat. Everyone else, keep attacking when Sofiel is ready, but mind your safety and the safety of those around you.” As soon as Orion got to her, Fel would gently smack her abnormally long tail against his muzzle. “Take my tail. I don’t have time to wait.” With that, she paused for him to grasp her tail tip before she darted off, dragging him with her. She didn’t care much if he bit her a little and held on. Taking the shortest path to Emily, Fel got Orion there as soon as possible, describing the wounds along the way. “She has a nasty gash on her shoulder and what I suspect to be a concussion with an added minor head wound. I’ll leave you to do the rest.” In a strange-looking bucking motion, she planned to whiplash his head with her tail the few meters they had left in guidance before looking to Desmond. “Alpha, am I to take control of the situation?” Her head was turned to the side, glancing between the battle and their other party. Fel kept an especially close watch on the healer, wanting to make sure that she got away from those back hooves. They were deadly, and she was in a perfect position to be hit by them. This was why training and ranks were needed. Chaos in battle results in injury. They needed one or two single voices to command them, not a chorus of children trying to play the hero. |

| Orion had been shaken off, thrown across the ground and a small injury across his shoulder. His ears roved forward as he listened, getting ready to attack again when a familiar voice called unto him. He took a low stance and bolted towards the voice. His paws scraped against the ground until he was directly by the she-wolf. His maw opened and he grasped her tail as gently as possible, bolting forward as she moved with great speed. He stumbled only slightly at first, paws touching the earth with great speed. He was lashed towards the she-wolf and gave a firm nod of his head. He ran his nose against the ground and snatched up some cobwebs, placing them across the she-wolf's shoulder. He nuzzled her head and paused, his grey eyes just staring into a void. He lifted his head and scented where exactly he was. "Hang on." He bolted quickly towards the place he had left several herbs, grasping it in his maw and making his way back to almost the same exact spot. He dropped the herbs and ground some leafs within his maw, turning it to mush. He carefully removed the cobwebs and gently placed herbs against the she-wolf. Rubbing it in slowly before replacing the cobwebs again. He nosed the faes face, applying the same herbs as before. He flicked his tail and nudged the she-wolf's paws in search of any broken limbs that would need attention. When he found there was none, he lifted the she-wolf's head gently, checking her head for any large bumps. He gently placed her head down and shifted, his clouded eyes holding the emotion of concern. "Fel? Alpha? I need one of you to check her eyes, describe them to me, please? If they look unusual, not like normal, then something may be wrong more then a concession. " He paused in his words, trying to make sure that was the word the Rogue had used. Coma. He shifted from paw to paw, anxiously awaiting to be told. As he waited, he would remove the cobwebs from the shoulder and search for more webs. He would take away the blood soaked ones to put on a layer of fresh ones. His fur ruffled with the gentle breeze, his lightly colored pelt shaking ever so little. His ears roved forward, tail swaying between his legs in a neutral stance. He knew how to take care of the wounds, but soon she would need to be placed in the healers den. He listened, waiting for either a male or the Elite females voice to tell him what exactly he had asked for. He knew a coma was dangerous, but he wasn't sure of exact details since he had never fully been around a patient whom entered a coma. It was like a deep sleep and they had to be forced to drink and eat. He would shift again and chew upon a herb, placing it in the she-wolf's mouth and rubbing her throat with his ebony nose in order to get her to swallow. It would ease the pain and stop most infections, though he didn't know the name of the herb. His mind raced with so many thoughts as he finished taking care of the fae, his head tilting towards the hunt. "It's crazy..." He mumbled to himself, knowing the other wolves hadn't listened to anyone. Everyone wants to show off, and this is what happens... He thought quietly, mainly thinking of the young fae he had just taken care of. "She'll be alright, but when there is time... I'd like to take her to the healers den where we can treat her daily till her wounds heal." He spoke in a calm and respectful tone, not even a smirk lay upon his maw. He simply respected his higher ranks and then shifted to where the moose had been. "Shall I rejoin the hunt, or do you wish for me to stay with the injured fae in case anyone else gets injured?" Concern ran through his voice, he was afraid that the others may get hurt. He, being a healer, would always worry about others. Surely though, taking down the moose would have been easier if others had taken commands instead of shouting more commands. ____________________________________ Attack: None Defense: None Injuries: Small gash across his shoulder.

| Chaos. That was the only word to describe the scene around them. Absolute chaos. Wolves leapt this way and that, each one seeming more determined than the next to put themselves in harms way, straight into the firing line of the bull's deadly weapons. Snarls ripped through the air, an irritated bellow rumbled from the bull's chest, hooves struck out into the air, and nothing more than chaos remained. They were never going to win if they kept this up. They needed direction, they needed a leader, not a band of misfits all vying for their 5 minutes of glory. Where the hell was their Alpha, or even the Elite, Fel? If they kept this up, the only blood that would be spilt here today would be their own. She kept up her desperate attempt to distract the beast with yips and barks, darting in and back out again snapping at its face and forelegs, but on her own it was no use. Her alone was not enough to distract the moose from the battalion of wolves that were coming at it from every direction. But then, oh but then it got so much worse. Her emerald eyes widened in horror as hooves connected with one of the females. She winced out of sheer anticipation as to how much damage the kick had done. Blood began to flow from the female as she lay near lifeless upon the ground. She needed to help her, she had to get to her. Out of the bushes emerged their Alpha, racing to Emily's aid and pulling her from the fray. Sofiel made to move to help him, to help the female, but then too came the Elite, though she was barking directions to them all. She summoned Orion for medical assistance and was slightly torn by this, though she did not dare argue. She could have easily been there faster, she had seen what had happened, but Fel was her superior, and there was no room for arguing now. Hearing her own name, Sofiel continued on with her original plan to distract the moose, anxiously awaiting those that Fel had commanded to help her with such a task. With more of them at the forefront, they stood a chance at distracting it enough to let the others get in and take the shots they needed to to bring the beast down. She kept her stance, and her eyes trained on the bull, still barking and snapping at it while waiting for the others to join her. _______________________________________ Attack: Snapping and nipping at the bull's face and neck Defence:Quick retreats between each lunge, ears flat, tail tucked Injuries:None |

| With each attack the moose made, the wolves retaliated with force and aggression. He grew tired of the games and the shouting. Left and right wolves attacked him, trying to bring him to the ground, but he would not allow it to happen. If he was going to die, he was going to take one with him. A fae(Ashlen) had launched an attack at him and his hind left hoof clocked her right in the head. He did not have time to see if she had died. More attacks swooned over him. The bull shook his head side to side, trying to hard off those that went for the front. But of all the wolves that went for his back and sides, he could not overpower them. There were far too many. Another loud grunt escaped from his lips, the sound was close to that of a lion. It seemed like more wolves were appearing out of nowhere and attacking him in different areas. A few wolves had almost slid beneath his form and grabbed at the meat space from his legs and his torso. They yanked and forced the moose to slide onto his rear hip. But nothing held him there. He quickly got back up to his full height once more. He shook some wolves off and made his way to the water. In the water, it came to his chest. He could see the red all around him, it moved down stream, but left a strange circle around him. His eyes grew hazy, but he shook his head in an attempt to get a clearer vision. He would not be able to stand up against these wolves much longer. But he could see all the chaos he had created amongst them, and for this he smiled. ____________________________________ Attack: Kicks his hind legs, shaking his head from left to right Defense: Keeping his head low and moving to the water Injuries: Bleeding from left shoulder, "arm pit", and left lrear leg is sore from falling on it - slight limp |

| Even her awry lunge at the beasts shoulder, which ultimately aimed her towards his rump , was sent off course. The healer hadn't accounted for the beasts quick, jerky movements. As she flew through the air towards him she noticed so much going on around her. She saw the wolves of her pack lunging from all sides. She heard snarls from desperate hunters and orders barked by superiors. She could see the way the grass moved beneath the paws of her comrades, how their weight flattened it and the way it sprung back into livelihood the moment they were released. A richly coloured butterfly of purple and black fluttered about her head, each wing beat slowed and exaggerated for her viewing pleasure. She heard their Alpha rush to the aid of on injured fae and heard him call for the help of a healer. Her eyes darted in the direction of the voice, thinking she could land safely and rush to their aid. They say in the moments before you die you see your life flash before your eyes. Ashlen saw a very unremarkable life. The life of a boring apprentice who followed the rules for too long. A fae who failed to bear her mate a litter. A widow who let her only love be murdered. A beast who struck down her alpha. A whimsical child who let herself be fooled by a green eyed liar. A shadow whose life would drift away to rejoin the shadows as if she'd never existed. They also say that as you die, you see the faces of those you love most. She saw only one face. Aaron's. His grey pelt was unmistakeable, as was his adoring smile. So focused on her phantoms she missed the hoof that struck her temple and ended her life. Rest In Peace Healer Ashlen. May the ancestors guide you into the Other Forest. |

| (I didn't have time to proof-read. Sorry.) Fel did not see the contact of the hoof to the healer’s head – only the corpse flying to the ground and the moose, after falling, slowly moving towards the water. The elite seemed to receive a small positive response from her superior before rushing off to tend to the other healer. As she flew over the grassy field, Fel knew that Ashlen had a very little chance of having survived, but their numbers were few and she had to make sure. Reaching the tawny mass, the raven fae examined it. The glassy look in those green eyes was unmistakable for a wolf who had already seen so much death. But for the inexperienced and the idiotic, the mark left on the skull would be enough evidence. Ashlen was dead. “Pity.” Fel dragged her off to Desmond as not to distract the others with the presence of death before making her way back to the group. There was nothing that could be done for the former healer, and it was not worth killing the pack’s already sinking morale. It was about time to kill the moose. But there was one simple problem. Their worst-case scenario had occurred. The moose was taking his last stand in the water. All of their proposed plans to keep him away from it had failed. But on the bright side, it seemed that he was losing his strength, and fast. “Work as a pack, not as individuals. The bull seems like it is at its last stand. If he wants to die in that water, so be it. Sofiel, Twelve, Pharika and I will continue to distract it, pushing it back a little to the shallows. We need to be careful in the deeper parts of the water. When it’s out of the water enough for some clean shots, you three form a semi-circle with me and cause enough chaos and noise that it doesn’t know what’s going on. Just don’t get hurt. If it charges, leap to the side. Finnick and Newt, your job is still to bleed it out at the weak points. The more blood it loses, the more mistakes it will make. If you can take out tendons and ligaments to limit its mobility, do it. Desoto and Breeze, your main job is to strike at the neck should he swing his antlers in any direction. Get on opposite sides and strike when the opportunity emerges. Erabus, once you have a clean shot at its wounded leg, take it out… But keep out of range of its hoof. Everyone keep in mind that though the moose’s movements will be slow in the water, yours will be even slower. Plan ahead and don’t… die.” Fel would then run, leading the charge beside Sofiel. Perhaps it would be beneficial for them to have one of the larger wolves distracting. Particularly in the water, it would be easiest for her to be distracting. The elite did a great deal of splashing and barking, taking a few snips at the bull’s nose here and there. With each short, calculated lunge she made, her hind paws, anchored in the ground with her claws, pulled her back rapidly. With a snarl in her voice, she tried to push the moose just a few steps back whilst also keeping safe from the moose. Her barking filled the air, tail batting itself against the water for the sound effect. This might be enough to cover the sounds of the rest of the pack as they moved into position, if the others in her group joined her. Splashes were aimed at his face too, hopefully blinding him for a few seconds of even pushing him back further. He couldn't attack the water, after all. He'd have to step back out of range of the splashes. The point was for the purposeful chaos in the front to push him back and distract him enough for silent, deadly strikes to be able to kill him from the sides. ____________________________________ Attack: Short, brisk lunges at the nose and lots of barking; splashes with paws towards the eyes Defense: Hind paws secured in sand; quick retreats after each lunge Injuries: None

| Pharika had just made contact with the beast when Fel showed up barking out orders. It had been shortly after Emily, the other omega of the pack, had gotten hit with the Mooses hoof. As the moose shook, Pharika launched herself backwards, using the momentum to land safely away from the moving Mooses hooves. She was about to run towards the water when she saw Ashlen, her head colliding with the hoof. Then she was gone. Dead. They had lost a healer and possibly An omega in this ordeal? "Yes miss Fel." she said dipping her head respectfully and turning away. Growling in anger at the moose she dashed towards the water, her blue eyes flaring with hatred as she made her way swiftly to the waters edge. It was bleeding, that was good. Though she needed to distract it somehow. Slowing making her way into water that she could still stand in she snarled at the Beast and she began leaping forward and then retreating half a jump back, attempting to both keep it distracted and scare it back towards the other bank where they could attack it and take it down. She noted Fel by her side appearing to do something similar to her own actions. It had to be a correct thing to do if Fel was doing it. What else was she supposed to do? She wasn't sure how else to keep its attention and make taking it down easier. She was no Hunter. ____________________________________ Attack: Lunging forward towards it and then jumping back, remaining at a fairly safe distance, so this is a mock attack Defense: Keeping herself out of antler range, and keeping herself low, ears back. | Finnick turned swiftly to see as the moose charged for the waters. He could hear Fel barking orders to get them to end the chaos and work as a pack. Moments before, he saw the little female known as Ashlen be kicked in the head. Her body was unmoving. She was dead. His heart dropped although he didn't know the Healer at all. He looked over his shoulder to see Orion working on the one called Emily. She looked badly hurt, but Finnick didn't hang around to see if she was okay. He still had a job to do. As the Elite shouted orders at them, Finnick did as he was told. He didn't was to be a hero. All he wanted was to be one doing what he was supposed to. As Fel directed, he made his way into the waters toward the moose. Bleed it out. He directed himself in his mind. Although the waters were a little deep for him to touch the sand beneath his paws, he tread through to the side of the moose. Although he couldn't exactly bite where he previously was, he made his aim for where Orion grasped the shoulder. He reached the side of the moose, still aware of what was going on around him. He closed his eyes and closed his jaws on something. He didn't know what. He shook violently as he clung on to whatever it was he bit. He was positive it was the moose. But wasn't entirely sure all the same. ____________________________________ Attack: Attempt to bite the shoulder, shaking violently for more blood loss Defense: None Injuries: None |

| The chaos reigned supreme for a good amount if time. Every wolf did what he or she thought was best with no regard for the others. It was unorganized and unsafe. As she gripped the moose's shoulder, the grey female watched helplessly as the omega toppled off the beast. The only thing that alerted Breeze of her landing was a sickening thud. NOOO! She wanted to scream. A ferocious muffled snarl escaped from between her teeth as she attacked. This was not how things should have gone. That wouldn't have happened if Emily had simply listened to the warriors. She gave Newt a worried glance as she clung on next to him. An unseen wolf began to bark orders with a deep, commanding tone. The moose gave itself a massive shake and the dusky grey warrior rolled away from the beast. Dirt and small rocks dug into her shoulders and sides as she recovered to leap back on her paws. The commands were being given by a large black she-wolf. Well that must be Elite Fel! A respectful and determined nod in the Elite's direction would hopefully let the raven fae know that Breeze would follow orders without question. She was here to help her pack in whatever way would best being it them. So hold off the attacks, reorganize and regroup, then try your best to take it down... hopefully with a bite to the throat. The warrior thought to herself. The grey female still kept a wide stance, tail wrapped around her side and ears flattened back while she tried to keep near the moose's shoulder without being in range of the antlers. Orion had been taken aside to help the injured Emily, who seemed to be knocked out. Alpha Desmond stood off to the side, monitoring the whole scene. Once again, the moose struck out with it's back hooves. This time, the well placed kick landed squarely on a target. The healer who had just joined them. The form of the dead wolf was quickly moved by Fel while the moose moved, now limping slightly, into the river. Breeze shook her head and looked around at her packmates. They had a couple more wolves who had joined the hunt., including a brute who had called himself Warrior Twelve. The Elite gave more instructions and was soon off to distract the beast. Sofiel, Twelve, and Pharika would help her hold it's attention up front while the rest attacked. Breeze was relieved to see the omega follow her superior's order. Newt and Finnick would continue to cause blood loss. The grey she-wolf nodded to her friend. "Good luck and be careful!" She told Newt. With her job now established, she dashed towards the river and tried to find Desoto. She would go to the right of the moose. Since the others were trying to back him out of the water, Breeze decided to stay on the riverbank to the right of the beast and out of range of it's hooves. Her back paws were firmly planted on the ground. The water lapped around her forelegs as she kept a low stance. Her golden eyes were narrowed against potential splashing. If the moose approached the far shore or turned parallel to the banks, Breeze would launch herself into the water to swim to the opposite shore. She had to stay somewhat close to the beast's right side of the neck and wait for her opportunity. The dusky female quietly waited for her chance to strike while she kept an eye out for Fel and Desoto. Her shoulders hurt because of the shallow scrapes from her roll earlier, but the warrior ignored the slight discomfort. It was of no importance to her, for her duty was to help her packmates in this hunt, and she would do her best to help bring down the beast. ____________________________________ Attack: None once she is flung off the moose's shoulder. | A snarl escaping into the atmosphere through clutched teeth, it rumbled from deep within the males chest as the moose would throw his head around to take the wolves off him. One after another the pack would strike and it seemed the bull was getting overwhelmed. Having landed both attacks towards their designated areas, Erabus continued to hold on to the left rear leg. Thrashing his head back, it was enough to bring the beast onto his hip but not for long. The bull got up and with that would pull his leg with him. Bronze paws planting into the earth, the force to keep them in place caused the pads to scrape against the terrain as it stemmed from his own weight. Erabus made his best attempt to hold on but to no avail - the bull yanked itself away, before quickly dealing with the others leaving the warrior with it's blood in his jaws and stinging paws.
Finally... Immediate relief swept over the male, the emotion being another to flood his body at the sight of Agavos own Elite. Fel. If these wolves wouldn't listen to him because of the rank he held then they sure as hell would listen to her. Erabus would listen to the orders the brutish fae gave, ears flickering from side to side with a mind of their own as he played attention to commands but it was already too late. The bull made an exit into the waters the pack had tried to keep it away from. "Great." The warrior would huff, his voice carried to be inaudible to the rest of the group though Erabus knew how much the word was laced in mockery. Glancing around, it took a moment before the brute realized Emily had disappeared and one of the faes to arrive late on the ground.
Face towards him, even in the distance that separated the two apart the warrior knew through the hazy gaze that she had vanished. The elite examined it before briskly dragging the dead body off. Erabus' wasn't close to the fae and having seen so much death in his life time the occurrence didn't faze him but the loss of life in a new, hopefully thriving pack was sure to be a waste. It didn't take long however for the elite to arrive once again, and with the ebony fae barking orders for everyone to do, the bronze brute would simply nod towards the end in agreement. His job was to take out the left leg, once again but this time Erabus was determined to break it. As the first four charged forward to do their part, Erabus would follow behind the rest of the pack slowly.
His chance towards the leg would come shortly. The bull had managed to place itself in the deeper parts of the river, its head towards them with a smile of amusement. If this beast thought he had got the best of them, then the moose was dumber that the warrior has thought. Mouth still stained with the blood from his attacks, Erabus would peel his lips back in a snarl while his tongue rolled out to lick his muzzle and nose before tucking it away to lick the front of his bared teeth. Breeze having gone to the right of the herbivore, the warrior stayed a few feet behind the fae as his own attack would designate from the right side. With the bull distracted and the others aiming their attacks, Erabus' planned when he got a good shot to run up underneath the bull from the right, taking hold of the left leg and in the same motion he did before pull it out but on its own side.
The motion would hopefully cause it to dislocate as it would be forced towards the side and if he was in the shallows at the time, the attack would be a bit easier to attempt as the cool sand would ease his pads injury. Moose were known to be of the deer family and like so, were able to kick out. Forcing the leg sideways would go against it’s anatomy. All Erabus needed was that opportunity. For now though, the warrior was focused on staying at the right side, the water grazing his stomach as he stayed on the edge of the shallows so he may still move without actually getting into the deep water. All that would do his hinder his movements more. Let’s get this over with...(ooc- sorry it sucks .-. )____________________________________ Attack: None Defense: Staying close to the bank, were he is still able to touch the ground for now. | Success, his attack was a success. Blood entered his jaws as soon as his teeth fastened on the sensitive spot of the moose. He noted Erabus aiming for a back leg as he made his own move, perhaps they could make the best fall. Tugging on the soft flesh, the brute became hungered and eager to kill the moose. He could not rush however, because then he could very well fail his task. The whole mission about killing the moose was not to show of ones personal aspects, but that of the whole packs. They must work as a team to take this thing down, and now that Fel had finally snapped into order, things were getting done. Erases had given orders, and worked up a plan with Desoto. But none followed them because they were too focused on making themselves shine. 'Too bad that you have to make yourself look better in order to think that you might gain some sort of respect. Personally there was already destruction. Emily's bizarre attack had landed but had ended terribly. She was thrown off and her landing was anything but soft, in fact she was unconscious. Alive yes, but unresponsive. Ashlen, whom he had just learned the name of had launched herself almost suicidally towards the rump of the moose. Her head was kicked and now she truly lay dead. How many more would need to be injured till they could work together. This was falling apart and fast. And is was that thought that urged him to rip out the hunk of flesh that his jaws were clamped on. Blood spilled from the wound, and the meat was still held firmly in his jaws. Blood was scattered across his chest and muzzle from when he bit into the beast and when he tore out a bit of its skin and muscle. The bite would do well in slowing him down, and would continue to bleed more overtime he moved. But then the moos fell. His hip was now on the ground from where Erabus had pulled on it, and Desoto was forced to crouch down and roll out of the way to ensure not to be crushed. Rightening himself, the warrior stood, dirt and grass now sticking to his pelt along with a scratch on his leg from a small stone. It wasn't much, and he would not need medical treatment for it as it would heal quickly. The hunk of moose flesh was still in his jaws as he looked back towards the group. His eyes narrowed as he saw the moose heading into the water, but now Fel had come down and was beginning to take charge. 'Finally.. Someone they'll listen to. He knew that the others would follow the brutish female's orders, they would be asking for their death, or something close to it if they didn't. Even Desoto wouldn't want to be under her complete wrath. But a little was fine, he had enjoyed stirring hr up a little when they had spoken with Noble. Lifting his jaw the brute swallowed the meat. Sure it wasn't choice of the kill, but he wasn't going to let it go to waste. Plus it was already in his mouth. Then running his tongue over his lips he went towards the others, his ears perked as he took in Fel's orders. Go for the throat as soon as he moves his head and you are allowed a clear shot. Breeze had taken the right so he made sure to go to the left. The bull was pretty deep in the water and Desoto could see the red pool surrounding him. Even if they were not able to get him onto shore, he'd die here. All they had to do after was drag him out. He stepped into the water, deep enough so only his paws were submerged. His head was low and his ears back, his lips pulled back in a snarl that showed his blood stained teeth to the moose. His stance was tense, his legs standing firmly and ready launch out for an attack. He was out of reach for the bull, but he still stood protectively. Breeze and Erabus were on the right side, and due to the Elite's orders, the black brute already knew what his plan was. Go for the leg again. It was impossible for Desoto to get back underneath the moose, so that was why he was stationed here. He lashed his tail his eyes narrowing at the prey. Even if he was not the one to kill it, to beast was going to die, one way or another. | Only one seemed to listen to his words and actually attempt the hind leg and a frustrated growl escaped Twelve from deep within his throat. That wasn't enough! The moose did slip and fall down but there was not enough holding him to keep him down and the huge beast was back on all four hooves in no time. It shook its huge head from side to side and Twelve just managed to hop out of the way of its massive antlers- feeling one skim across his cheek. He shook his head from side to side and small droplets of blood fell onto the lush grass- staining the green to a deep crimson colour however the amount of drops were small and Twelve was pretty sure it was nothing but a small graze and continued on, the stinging sensation taken away with ease by the adrenaline pumping through his body. Nothing serious in the least. He took a moment to survey the scene, someone was down and looked pretty beaten up- the alpha and a healer were now by her side. He turned back just as the moose kicked out, hitting another wolf on the head with a sickening sound. She fell to the ground, ominously still. He shook his head, they weren't going about this right! Yes the beast was weakening but so were they, how many more lives would he take before falling if they continued like this? The attacks were frenzied and had no planning whatsoever to them, they were supposed to be working as a pack dammit! The large herbivore suddenly charged, heading straight for the waters and with a curse Twelve sprang into action, running along its side. He snapped at it trying to get it to turn away from the river however with only one him leaping in front of it would definitely mean a painful death of being trampled by its large hooves. He glanced around quickly but there was no one close enough to help and soon it had splashed right into the deep waters. Twelve growled angrily- this was going to make things much more difficult. At least it would slow down the moose's movements, but for them it was twice as slow. Without hesitating he waded into the waters, making a wide berth around the beast until he was at its front. Here the water was slightly deeper and was beginning to try lap at his stomach fur, they had to drive it back into the shallows or even better, out of the waters altogether but if it was in these waters the beast wanted to die than so be it. He was prepared to take it down anywhere now and any thoughts of the alpha or the tempting gift of a high rank had vanished from his mind. Right now the only thing that got his full attention was this bull and its demise. He was just about to turn and attempt to try and get others to follow orders but it did seem impossible, they weren't listening to each other at all. However soon loud commanding words filled the air and the multicolored warrior pricked his ears as he listened to the large dark Elite. Finally, someone had arrived that the others would have no choice but to listen to. He listened to her plan, he was to help her and some others distract and drive the beast back into the shallows. Sounded good to him, her plan seemed good- finally some order that they could follow and hopefully put an end to the chaotic mess they were causing. Dipping his head in her direction as she neared, Twelve spoke. "Sounds good to me miss" He stated before turning back and facing the large creature, the waters had turned a shade of crimson and the blood filled liquid lapped hungrily at his fur. It was time for some proper action. The brute began making as much noise as he could to hopefully startle and distract the moose. He barked and snarled, jumping at it and splashing at its face before springing back out its reach again. Every now and again he would attempt to make contact at its neck or facial area, showing he was serious with his actions. He was impressed with the Elite's skill and was proud to work by her side with the others helping fulfill the same job. Soon they would feast and the pack would feel stronger than before. Agavos would be powerful alright. ____________________________________ Attack: Darting at the moose with a lot of splashing and growling/barking with attempts to scratch and bite at the neck and facial area. Defense: Ears still pinned back and stance wide, also making sure to continue to leap out of its reach. Injuries: Small graze on left cheek. |

| When it seemed as though things could not possibly be going any more wrong in the favour for the wolves, the most devastating sounds crackled through the air. The sound was sickening and Sofiel's eyes snapped to it's source just in time to see the lifeless, limp body of one of her pack mates hit the ground. Her heart sank in that moment. She had seen very little death in her time, and none so sudden as this. Old age and illness that gradually took the life of a wolf was one thing, and a far more easily acceptable one for a wolf's conscience, but this, this was horrifying, and the little red female was nearly frozen in shock. She watched as Fel quickly moved the breathless form from its place, off to the side before returning swiftly to bark out more orders. It was clear that the moose was beginning to weaken, and it had taken to the water in search of refuge from sharp claws and teeth. The blood stained the water, the sight of which was reassuring, but it was hard not to think about the blood of their own that stained the ground here too. But for now, she needed a clear mind. They needed to get this done and over with before anything else bad could happen. If they were successful, then tonight they would feast as a true pack, and in memory of a fallen comrade. She listened carefully to Fel's instructions, and did just as she was told. Along side Fel, Twelve and Pharika, she moved towards the moose with the hopes to push it out of the water just far enough for the others to get in some clean shots. She darted out into the water, staying a tad closer to the shore than the others as she was not gifted with quite as long legs and had no desire to be at the full mercy of the water should the bull come at her. Sharp barks and yips screamed from her maw as she splashed and lunged towards the bull, being certain to never repeat the same sequence of steps a second time to keep the bull on edge.

| All of his efforts were to be done in vain. Nothing could save his life now. The water seemed to pull the blood from his body, making him weaker by the second. He tried to keep his eyes open, but he was fading. Being in the water relaxed him slightly, but the wolves kept coming. Some attacked and their attacks all landed. He was too exhausted to dodge them or even fight back. His shoulder shook violently and tore. That was the end. Even if he tried to run away, the blood loss would kill him. In a last attempt to kill yet another wolf, the large bull pushed all his weight to the side the wolf (Finnick) clung onto and forced himself to fall on that side. If he could drown the wolf, then he would succeed. Whether it worked or not, he could not feel it with the water supporting his massive body. One eye rested out of the water, watching the blood leave him even more. Lazily he closed his eye and drifted off into his death. No more bubbles came from his mouth and his rear legs shook uncontrollably. The moose was now dead. ____________________________________ Attack: Pulls all his weight to try and land on Finnick Defense: None Injuries: He is D E A D! |

| Desmond was soon greeted with Fel and Orion in toe. His eyes fell upon the wolf holding her tail. So this was he? The wolf went straight to his work, it was obvious he was good under pressure. Desmond nodded his head and immediately looked to Emily. "She seems to be unconscious, but not dead. Her chest it rising and falling. Her eyes look... closed..." he didn't really know what to do in this situation or what to say. He didn't know what her eyes normally looked like as he had not looked into them. "Nobody is leaving, not you or I. We wait until the rest of the pack is done. Once everything has settled, I want someone to help you carry her to the Healer's den. You will not do such a task alone." It was not long before Fel barked orders to them and they actually listened. Why did she have to do this for them all to listen? They needed to learn to respect one another. They had to go with a plan and actually execute it. He snarled as he watched the wolves around their prize. "Stay here." He growled and moved closer to the rest of the group. He glared to all of them, except Fel. "You are all a bunch of fools. The reason Fel and I did not intervene, was for the simple fact of this all being a test. I needed to see who could give orders and who could take them. Who knew what they were doing, and who was a complete imbecile. You killed a moose. Congratulations. But you did it only because I sent Fel in as your savior to save you all. The reason I did that, was for the sole fact that you allowed your pack mate to die. You worried too much about introductions and arguing over plans. You all lost your surprise attack. There will be times when all you will have are signals from the body, not vocal. What would you do then? Now, having that being said, some of you will be promoted here and now." His eyes rolled over the lot. His eyes moved to the Omega who was still standing (Pharika). "You are to be a Warrior, no longer an Omega. Do not make me regret this decision." He looked over to the next wolf, and looked over their frame. The all black wolf with golden eyes (Desoto) stood out to him more than the rest. "You shall be Delta. I want you to work with the rest of these wolves and build them up. They need the work. And Breeze, you will help him as Delta Female." His eyes rolled over them both and then to Finnick. "Mister obsessive breeder, you will be Lead Hunter. And you..." his eyes moved to Erabus, "you will be Lead Warrior." He looked over the rest. "Fel, Beta..." He did not look to her, but she was the reason he was still here. She was the reason this even happened and so many had still lived. "Now, all of you... break this beast up and carry it to the pack for the feast. I need one wolf to volunteer and carry Emily's body back to the pack. I also nee another wolf to carry Ashlen so that she may be laid to rest within our peaceful home. If you leave her out here, the birds and other scavenging animals will pick at her flesh. Now go!" He stood still and waited as the wolves moved and did as they were told. He was proud of the changes he had made, hoping things would be a little easier around these borders for him and Fel. If any proved they could not handle the rank, he would immediately demote them. |
