| (I didn't have time to proof-read. Sorry.) Fel did not see the contact of the hoof to the healer’s head – only the corpse flying to the ground and the moose, after falling, slowly moving towards the water. The elite seemed to receive a small positive response from her superior before rushing off to tend to the other healer. As she flew over the grassy field, Fel knew that Ashlen had a very little chance of having survived, but their numbers were few and she had to make sure. Reaching the tawny mass, the raven fae examined it. The glassy look in those green eyes was unmistakable for a wolf who had already seen so much death. But for the inexperienced and the idiotic, the mark left on the skull would be enough evidence. Ashlen was dead. “Pity.” Fel dragged her off to Desmond as not to distract the others with the presence of death before making her way back to the group. There was nothing that could be done for the former healer, and it was not worth killing the pack’s already sinking morale. It was about time to kill the moose. But there was one simple problem. Their worst-case scenario had occurred. The moose was taking his last stand in the water. All of their proposed plans to keep him away from it had failed. But on the bright side, it seemed that he was losing his strength, and fast. “Work as a pack, not as individuals. The bull seems like it is at its last stand. If he wants to die in that water, so be it. Sofiel, Twelve, Pharika and I will continue to distract it, pushing it back a little to the shallows. We need to be careful in the deeper parts of the water. When it’s out of the water enough for some clean shots, you three form a semi-circle with me and cause enough chaos and noise that it doesn’t know what’s going on. Just don’t get hurt. If it charges, leap to the side. Finnick and Newt, your job is still to bleed it out at the weak points. The more blood it loses, the more mistakes it will make. If you can take out tendons and ligaments to limit its mobility, do it. Desoto and Breeze, your main job is to strike at the neck should he swing his antlers in any direction. Get on opposite sides and strike when the opportunity emerges. Erabus, once you have a clean shot at its wounded leg, take it out… But keep out of range of its hoof. Everyone keep in mind that though the moose’s movements will be slow in the water, yours will be even slower. Plan ahead and don’t… die.” Fel would then run, leading the charge beside Sofiel. Perhaps it would be beneficial for them to have one of the larger wolves distracting. Particularly in the water, it would be easiest for her to be distracting. The elite did a great deal of splashing and barking, taking a few snips at the bull’s nose here and there. With each short, calculated lunge she made, her hind paws, anchored in the ground with her claws, pulled her back rapidly. With a snarl in her voice, she tried to push the moose just a few steps back whilst also keeping safe from the moose. Her barking filled the air, tail batting itself against the water for the sound effect. This might be enough to cover the sounds of the rest of the pack as they moved into position, if the others in her group joined her. Splashes were aimed at his face too, hopefully blinding him for a few seconds of even pushing him back further. He couldn't attack the water, after all. He'd have to step back out of range of the splashes. The point was for the purposeful chaos in the front to push him back and distract him enough for silent, deadly strikes to be able to kill him from the sides. ____________________________________ Attack: Short, brisk lunges at the nose and lots of barking; splashes with paws towards the eyes Defense: Hind paws secured in sand; quick retreats after each lunge Injuries: None

| Pharika had just made contact with the beast when Fel showed up barking out orders. It had been shortly after Emily, the other omega of the pack, had gotten hit with the Mooses hoof. As the moose shook, Pharika launched herself backwards, using the momentum to land safely away from the moving Mooses hooves. She was about to run towards the water when she saw Ashlen, her head colliding with the hoof. Then she was gone. Dead. They had lost a healer and possibly An omega in this ordeal? "Yes miss Fel." she said dipping her head respectfully and turning away. Growling in anger at the moose she dashed towards the water, her blue eyes flaring with hatred as she made her way swiftly to the waters edge. It was bleeding, that was good. Though she needed to distract it somehow. Slowing making her way into water that she could still stand in she snarled at the Beast and she began leaping forward and then retreating half a jump back, attempting to both keep it distracted and scare it back towards the other bank where they could attack it and take it down. She noted Fel by her side appearing to do something similar to her own actions. It had to be a correct thing to do if Fel was doing it. What else was she supposed to do? She wasn't sure how else to keep its attention and make taking it down easier. She was no Hunter. ____________________________________ Attack: Lunging forward towards it and then jumping back, remaining at a fairly safe distance, so this is a mock attack Defense: Keeping herself out of antler range, and keeping herself low, ears back. | Finnick turned swiftly to see as the moose charged for the waters. He could hear Fel barking orders to get them to end the chaos and work as a pack. Moments before, he saw the little female known as Ashlen be kicked in the head. Her body was unmoving. She was dead. His heart dropped although he didn't know the Healer at all. He looked over his shoulder to see Orion working on the one called Emily. She looked badly hurt, but Finnick didn't hang around to see if she was okay. He still had a job to do. As the Elite shouted orders at them, Finnick did as he was told. He didn't was to be a hero. All he wanted was to be one doing what he was supposed to. As Fel directed, he made his way into the waters toward the moose. Bleed it out. He directed himself in his mind. Although the waters were a little deep for him to touch the sand beneath his paws, he tread through to the side of the moose. Although he couldn't exactly bite where he previously was, he made his aim for where Orion grasped the shoulder. He reached the side of the moose, still aware of what was going on around him. He closed his eyes and closed his jaws on something. He didn't know what. He shook violently as he clung on to whatever it was he bit. He was positive it was the moose. But wasn't entirely sure all the same. ____________________________________ Attack: Attempt to bite the shoulder, shaking violently for more blood loss Defense: None Injuries: None |

| The chaos reigned supreme for a good amount if time. Every wolf did what he or she thought was best with no regard for the others. It was unorganized and unsafe. As she gripped the moose's shoulder, the grey female watched helplessly as the omega toppled off the beast. The only thing that alerted Breeze of her landing was a sickening thud. NOOO! She wanted to scream. A ferocious muffled snarl escaped from between her teeth as she attacked. This was not how things should have gone. That wouldn't have happened if Emily had simply listened to the warriors. She gave Newt a worried glance as she clung on next to him. An unseen wolf began to bark orders with a deep, commanding tone. The moose gave itself a massive shake and the dusky grey warrior rolled away from the beast. Dirt and small rocks dug into her shoulders and sides as she recovered to leap back on her paws. The commands were being given by a large black she-wolf. Well that must be Elite Fel! A respectful and determined nod in the Elite's direction would hopefully let the raven fae know that Breeze would follow orders without question. She was here to help her pack in whatever way would best being it them. So hold off the attacks, reorganize and regroup, then try your best to take it down... hopefully with a bite to the throat. The warrior thought to herself. The grey female still kept a wide stance, tail wrapped around her side and ears flattened back while she tried to keep near the moose's shoulder without being in range of the antlers. Orion had been taken aside to help the injured Emily, who seemed to be knocked out. Alpha Desmond stood off to the side, monitoring the whole scene. Once again, the moose struck out with it's back hooves. This time, the well placed kick landed squarely on a target. The healer who had just joined them. The form of the dead wolf was quickly moved by Fel while the moose moved, now limping slightly, into the river. Breeze shook her head and looked around at her packmates. They had a couple more wolves who had joined the hunt., including a brute who had called himself Warrior Twelve. The Elite gave more instructions and was soon off to distract the beast. Sofiel, Twelve, and Pharika would help her hold it's attention up front while the rest attacked. Breeze was relieved to see the omega follow her superior's order. Newt and Finnick would continue to cause blood loss. The grey she-wolf nodded to her friend. "Good luck and be careful!" She told Newt. With her job now established, she dashed towards the river and tried to find Desoto. She would go to the right of the moose. Since the others were trying to back him out of the water, Breeze decided to stay on the riverbank to the right of the beast and out of range of it's hooves. Her back paws were firmly planted on the ground. The water lapped around her forelegs as she kept a low stance. Her golden eyes were narrowed against potential splashing. If the moose approached the far shore or turned parallel to the banks, Breeze would launch herself into the water to swim to the opposite shore. She had to stay somewhat close to the beast's right side of the neck and wait for her opportunity. The dusky female quietly waited for her chance to strike while she kept an eye out for Fel and Desoto. Her shoulders hurt because of the shallow scrapes from her roll earlier, but the warrior ignored the slight discomfort. It was of no importance to her, for her duty was to help her packmates in this hunt, and she would do her best to help bring down the beast. ____________________________________ Attack: None once she is flung off the moose's shoulder. Defense: Tail tucked, low stance, ears flattened back, at the river her back paws are firmly on ground and her eyes narrowed against potential splashing of water. | A snarl escaping into the atmosphere through clutched teeth, it rumbled from deep within the males chest as the moose would throw his head around to take the wolves off him. One after another the pack would strike and it seemed the bull was getting overwhelmed. Having landed both attacks towards their designated areas, Erabus continued to hold on to the left rear leg. Thrashing his head back, it was enough to bring the beast onto his hip but not for long. The bull got up and with that would pull his leg with him. Bronze paws planting into the earth, the force to keep them in place caused the pads to scrape against the terrain as it stemmed from his own weight. Erabus made his best attempt to hold on but to no avail - the bull yanked itself away, before quickly dealing with the others leaving the warrior with it's blood in his jaws and stinging paws.
Finally... Immediate relief swept over the male, the emotion being another to flood his body at the sight of Agavos own Elite. Fel. If these wolves wouldn't listen to him because of the rank he held then they sure as hell would listen to her. Erabus would listen to the orders the brutish fae gave, ears flickering from side to side with a mind of their own as he played attention to commands but it was already too late. The bull made an exit into the waters the pack had tried to keep it away from. "Great." The warrior would huff, his voice carried to be inaudible to the rest of the group though Erabus knew how much the word was laced in mockery. Glancing around, it took a moment before the brute realized Emily had disappeared and one of the faes to arrive late on the ground.
Face towards him, even in the distance that separated the two apart the warrior knew through the hazy gaze that she had vanished. The elite examined it before briskly dragging the dead body off. Erabus' wasn't close to the fae and having seen so much death in his life time the occurrence didn't faze him but the loss of life in a new, hopefully thriving pack was sure to be a waste. It didn't take long however for the elite to arrive once again, and with the ebony fae barking orders for everyone to do, the bronze brute would simply nod towards the end in agreement. His job was to take out the left leg, once again but this time Erabus was determined to break it. As the first four charged forward to do their part, Erabus would follow behind the rest of the pack slowly.
His chance towards the leg would come shortly. The bull had managed to place itself in the deeper parts of the river, its head towards them with a smile of amusement. If this beast thought he had got the best of them, then the moose was dumber that the warrior has thought. Mouth still stained with the blood from his attacks, Erabus would peel his lips back in a snarl while his tongue rolled out to lick his muzzle and nose before tucking it away to lick the front of his bared teeth. Breeze having gone to the right of the herbivore, the warrior stayed a few feet behind the fae as his own attack would designate from the right side. With the bull distracted and the others aiming their attacks, Erabus' planned when he got a good shot to run up underneath the bull from the right, taking hold of the left leg and in the same motion he did before pull it out but on its own side.
The motion would hopefully cause it to dislocate as it would be forced towards the side and if he was in the shallows at the time, the attack would be a bit easier to attempt as the cool sand would ease his pads injury. Moose were known to be of the deer family and like so, were able to kick out. Forcing the leg sideways would go against it’s anatomy. All Erabus needed was that opportunity. For now though, the warrior was focused on staying at the right side, the water grazing his stomach as he stayed on the edge of the shallows so he may still move without actually getting into the deep water. All that would do his hinder his movements more. Let’s get this over with...(ooc- sorry it sucks .-. )____________________________________ Attack: None Defense: Staying close to the bank, were he is still able to touch the ground for now. | Success, his attack was a success. Blood entered his jaws as soon as his teeth fastened on the sensitive spot of the moose. He noted Erabus aiming for a back leg as he made his own move, perhaps they could make the best fall. Tugging on the soft flesh, the brute became hungered and eager to kill the moose. He could not rush however, because then he could very well fail his task. The whole mission about killing the moose was not to show of ones personal aspects, but that of the whole packs. They must work as a team to take this thing down, and now that Fel had finally snapped into order, things were getting done. Erases had given orders, and worked up a plan with Desoto. But none followed them because they were too focused on making themselves shine. 'Too bad that you have to make yourself look better in order to think that you might gain some sort of respect. Personally there was already destruction. Emily's bizarre attack had landed but had ended terribly. She was thrown off and her landing was anything but soft, in fact she was unconscious. Alive yes, but unresponsive. Ashlen, whom he had just learned the name of had launched herself almost suicidally towards the rump of the moose. Her head was kicked and now she truly lay dead. How many more would need to be injured till they could work together. This was falling apart and fast. And is was that thought that urged him to rip out the hunk of flesh that his jaws were clamped on. Blood spilled from the wound, and the meat was still held firmly in his jaws. Blood was scattered across his chest and muzzle from when he bit into the beast and when he tore out a bit of its skin and muscle. The bite would do well in slowing him down, and would continue to bleed more overtime he moved. But then the moos fell. His hip was now on the ground from where Erabus had pulled on it, and Desoto was forced to crouch down and roll out of the way to ensure not to be crushed. Rightening himself, the warrior stood, dirt and grass now sticking to his pelt along with a scratch on his leg from a small stone. It wasn't much, and he would not need medical treatment for it as it would heal quickly. The hunk of moose flesh was still in his jaws as he looked back towards the group. His eyes narrowed as he saw the moose heading into the water, but now Fel had come down and was beginning to take charge. 'Finally.. Someone they'll listen to. He knew that the others would follow the brutish female's orders, they would be asking for their death, or something close to it if they didn't. Even Desoto wouldn't want to be under her complete wrath. But a little was fine, he had enjoyed stirring hr up a little when they had spoken with Noble. Lifting his jaw the brute swallowed the meat. Sure it wasn't choice of the kill, but he wasn't going to let it go to waste. Plus it was already in his mouth. Then running his tongue over his lips he went towards the others, his ears perked as he took in Fel's orders. Go for the throat as soon as he moves his head and you are allowed a clear shot. Breeze had taken the right so he made sure to go to the left. The bull was pretty deep in the water and Desoto could see the red pool surrounding him. Even if they were not able to get him onto shore, he'd die here. All they had to do after was drag him out. He stepped into the water, deep enough so only his paws were submerged. His head was low and his ears back, his lips pulled back in a snarl that showed his blood stained teeth to the moose. His stance was tense, his legs standing firmly and ready launch out for an attack. He was out of reach for the bull, but he still stood protectively. Breeze and Erabus were on the right side, and due to the Elite's orders, the black brute already knew what his plan was. Go for the leg again. It was impossible for Desoto to get back underneath the moose, so that was why he was stationed here. He lashed his tail his eyes narrowing at the prey. Even if he was not the one to kill it, to beast was going to die, one way or another. [sorry a bit rushed] ____________________________________ Attack: None Defense: Staying away from the bull in the shallower areas of the water, ready to move quickly Injuries: A cut on his leg what he hit while rolling out of the moose's way |

| Only one seemed to listen to his words and actually attempt the hind leg and a frustrated growl escaped Twelve from deep within his throat. That wasn't enough! The moose did slip and fall down but there was not enough holding him to keep him down and the huge beast was back on all four hooves in no time. It shook its huge head from side to side and Twelve just managed to hop out of the way of its massive antlers- feeling one skim across his cheek. He shook his head from side to side and small droplets of blood fell onto the lush grass- staining the green to a deep crimson colour however the amount of drops were small and Twelve was pretty sure it was nothing but a small graze and continued on, the stinging sensation taken away with ease by the adrenaline pumping through his body. Nothing serious in the least. He took a moment to survey the scene, someone was down and looked pretty beaten up- the alpha and a healer were now by her side. He turned back just as the moose kicked out, hitting another wolf on the head with a sickening sound. She fell to the ground, ominously still. He shook his head, they weren't going about this right! Yes the beast was weakening but so were they, how many more lives would he take before falling if they continued like this? The attacks were frenzied and had no planning whatsoever to them, they were supposed to be working as a pack dammit! The large herbivore suddenly charged, heading straight for the waters and with a curse Twelve sprang into action, running along its side. He snapped at it trying to get it to turn away from the river however with only one him leaping in front of it would definitely mean a painful death of being trampled by its large hooves. He glanced around quickly but there was no one close enough to help and soon it had splashed right into the deep waters. Twelve growled angrily- this was going to make things much more difficult. At least it would slow down the moose's movements, but for them it was twice as slow. Without hesitating he waded into the waters, making a wide berth around the beast until he was at its front. Here the water was slightly deeper and was beginning to try lap at his stomach fur, they had to drive it back into the shallows or even better, out of the waters altogether but if it was in these waters the beast wanted to die than so be it. He was prepared to take it down anywhere now and any thoughts of the alpha or the tempting gift of a high rank had vanished from his mind. Right now the only thing that got his full attention was this bull and its demise. He was just about to turn and attempt to try and get others to follow orders but it did seem impossible, they weren't listening to each other at all. However soon loud commanding words filled the air and the multicolored warrior pricked his ears as he listened to the large dark Elite. Finally, someone had arrived that the others would have no choice but to listen to. He listened to her plan, he was to help her and some others distract and drive the beast back into the shallows. Sounded good to him, her plan seemed good- finally some order that they could follow and hopefully put an end to the chaotic mess they were causing. Dipping his head in her direction as she neared, Twelve spoke. "Sounds good to me miss" He stated before turning back and facing the large creature, the waters had turned a shade of crimson and the blood filled liquid lapped hungrily at his fur. It was time for some proper action. The brute began making as much noise as he could to hopefully startle and distract the moose. He barked and snarled, jumping at it and splashing at its face before springing back out its reach again. Every now and again he would attempt to make contact at its neck or facial area, showing he was serious with his actions. He was impressed with the Elite's skill and was proud to work by her side with the others helping fulfill the same job. Soon they would feast and the pack would feel stronger than before. Agavos would be powerful alright. ____________________________________ Attack: Darting at the moose with a lot of splashing and growling/barking with attempts to scratch and bite at the neck and facial area. | When it seemed as though things could not possibly be going any more wrong in the favour for the wolves, the most devastating sounds crackled through the air. The sound was sickening and Sofiel's eyes snapped to it's source just in time to see the lifeless, limp body of one of her pack mates hit the ground. Her heart sank in that moment. She had seen very little death in her time, and none so sudden as this. Old age and illness that gradually took the life of a wolf was one thing, and a far more easily acceptable one for a wolf's conscience, but this, this was horrifying, and the little red female was nearly frozen in shock. She watched as Fel quickly moved the breathless form from its place, off to the side before returning swiftly to bark out more orders. It was clear that the moose was beginning to weaken, and it had taken to the water in search of refuge from sharp claws and teeth. The blood stained the water, the sight of which was reassuring, but it was hard not to think about the blood of their own that stained the ground here too. But for now, she needed a clear mind. They needed to get this done and over with before anything else bad could happen. If they were successful, then tonight they would feast as a true pack, and in memory of a fallen comrade. She listened carefully to Fel's instructions, and did just as she was told. Along side Fel, Twelve and Pharika, she moved towards the moose with the hopes to push it out of the water just far enough for the others to get in some clean shots. She darted out into the water, staying a tad closer to the shore than the others as she was not gifted with quite as long legs and had no desire to be at the full mercy of the water should the bull come at her. Sharp barks and yips screamed from her maw as she splashed and lunged towards the bull, being certain to never repeat the same sequence of steps a second time to keep the bull on edge.

| All of his efforts were to be done in vain. Nothing could save his life now. The water seemed to pull the blood from his body, making him weaker by the second. He tried to keep his eyes open, but he was fading. Being in the water relaxed him slightly, but the wolves kept coming. Some attacked and their attacks all landed. He was too exhausted to dodge them or even fight back. His shoulder shook violently and tore. That was the end. Even if he tried to run away, the blood loss would kill him. In a last attempt to kill yet another wolf, the large bull pushed all his weight to the side the wolf (Finnick) clung onto and forced himself to fall on that side. If he could drown the wolf, then he would succeed. Whether it worked or not, he could not feel it with the water supporting his massive body. One eye rested out of the water, watching the blood leave him even more. Lazily he closed his eye and drifted off into his death. No more bubbles came from his mouth and his rear legs shook uncontrollably. The moose was now dead. ____________________________________ Attack: Pulls all his weight to try and land on Finnick Defense: None Injuries: He is D E A D! |

| Desmond was soon greeted with Fel and Orion in toe. His eyes fell upon the wolf holding her tail. So this was he? The wolf went straight to his work, it was obvious he was good under pressure. Desmond nodded his head and immediately looked to Emily. "She seems to be unconscious, but not dead. Her chest it rising and falling. Her eyes look... closed..." he didn't really know what to do in this situation or what to say. He didn't know what her eyes normally looked like as he had not looked into them. "Nobody is leaving, not you or I. We wait until the rest of the pack is done. Once everything has settled, I want someone to help you carry her to the Healer's den. You will not do such a task alone." It was not long before Fel barked orders to them and they actually listened. Why did she have to do this for them all to listen? They needed to learn to respect one another. They had to go with a plan and actually execute it. He snarled as he watched the wolves around their prize. "Stay here." He growled and moved closer to the rest of the group. He glared to all of them, except Fel. "You are all a bunch of fools. The reason Fel and I did not intervene, was for the simple fact of this all being a test. I needed to see who could give orders and who could take them. Who knew what they were doing, and who was a complete imbecile. You killed a moose. Congratulations. But you did it only because I sent Fel in as your savior to save you all. The reason I did that, was for the sole fact that you allowed your pack mate to die. You worried too much about introductions and arguing over plans. You all lost your surprise attack. There will be times when all you will have are signals from the body, not vocal. What would you do then? Now, having that being said, some of you will be promoted here and now." His eyes rolled over the lot. His eyes moved to the Omega who was still standing (Pharika). "You are to be a Warrior, no longer an Omega. Do not make me regret this decision." He looked over to the next wolf, and looked over their frame. The all black wolf with golden eyes (Desoto) stood out to him more than the rest. "You shall be Delta. I want you to work with the rest of these wolves and build them up. They need the work. And Breeze, you will help him as Delta Female." His eyes rolled over them both and then to Finnick. "Mister obsessive breeder, you will be Lead Hunter. And you..." his eyes moved to Erabus, "you will be Lead Warrior." He looked over the rest. "Fel, Beta..." He did not look to her, but she was the reason he was still here. She was the reason this even happened and so many had still lived. "Now, all of you... break this beast up and carry it to the pack for the feast. I need one wolf to volunteer and carry Emily's body back to the pack. I also nee another wolf to carry Ashlen so that she may be laid to rest within our peaceful home. If you leave her out here, the birds and other scavenging animals will pick at her flesh. Now go!" He stood still and waited as the wolves moved and did as they were told. He was proud of the changes he had made, hoping things would be a little easier around these borders for him and Fel. If any proved they could not handle the rank, he would immediately demote them. |

| Breeze watched as the life slowly left the moose. It wasn't a violent and thrashing death. No, it almost looked peaceful, except for it's shaking back legs. No need for the attack at it's throat. Soon, Alpha Desmond appeared at the scene. He looked angry...and disgusted too. Rightfully so, for the hunt had been a disaster. One wolf was dead, and another was severely hurt. It had been disorganized, with everyone being selfish in their desire for the spotlight. The dusky female took a humble and submissive stance, her ears still flat against her head and tail pressed against the back of her right leg while she listened to her Alpha's words. That's what we must teach everyone! Signals. I'm glad Desmond knows about those. She thought. The warrior listened with curiosity as he spoke of promotions. Pharika was now a Warrior. It seemed fitting that Desoto be promoted to Delta and Breeze would be sure congratulate him, along with Pharika, later. To her surprise, the large creamy brute asked her to be Delta Female. Had she really done that well? Regardless of the reason, Breeze felt honored and proud as she heard her own new rank. The she-wolf was glad to see Erabus had become Lead Warrior and Finnick had become Lead Hunter. The two had done well. The grey she-wolf waited until the Alpha finished speaking. The fae glanced around, straightening only slightly, and stepped forward. "Thank you very much Alpha Desmond. I am honored to be chosen to work beside Desoto as your Delta. I would also like to volunteer to carry Ashlen. I won't leave my packmates to be scavenged over. Show me where you have laid her, and I will carry her back. Also, if someone could help me get her up across my shoulders and back that would be wonderful." Breeze said, bowing her head low to Desmond with her gaze fixed on his paws. She waited to be directed to where her deceased packmate was, then would hopefully get some help to put the fallen healer on her back and shoulders. The bewly promoted Delta would slowly and solemnly follow the others back to camp, or wherever Alpha Desmond deemed fit to be their dead packmate's final resting place. Then later she would try to meet with Desoto to discuss training the other wolves. |

| As the bull went down a jolt of pride sparked through the tawny fae. They had done it. They had really done it. Though she felt a weight pulling her happiness down. They had lost a pack member and maybe two in the process. As alpha Desmond called them all together and lectured them about how they were being fools she looked down at his paws. He was right. Their insolence had lost them members. But as he continued to speak and issue new ranks she looked at him her eyes lighting up. "Thank you alpha. I will not disappoint you." she said dipping her head respectfully. As he spoke about moving the kill and the body of the fallen female healer she nodded and turned to go find the body of her fallen clan mate. But Breeze spoke before she did. Padding closer to breeze she nodded "I would be honored to help you move our fallen packmate delta. May her soul rest easy." she said approaching the body of the fallen female. Occasionally looking back to Breeze to make sure she was following. Despite their losses joy still filled the fae. She was finally a warrior again. She was what she was supposed to be. Maybe next time she could get herself ranked even higher. Maybe. Looking at the limp body of the female she sighed. This was unfortunate. The fae had been foolish and leapt at the Bulls dangerous hooves. Why had she done that? Even pharika had not be so foolish. Was this the faes intent? Did she want to die? Who knew. Looking around she sighed once more. The other omega known as Emily was also injured. Badly by the looks of it. Hopefully she would make it. |

| Thrashing violently, the moose went down. Sinking into the waters, but leaning all his weight on Finnick. He panicked and let go, but not soon enough. He was dragged under but was able to wriggle free, with the extent of hearing a snap! of his right hind leg. Something broke. He huffed and growled as he tried not to cry out in pain. He limped out of the waters in time to hear his promotion from Desmond. "Yes sir." He dipped his head in thanks for his ranking. "Thank you, Desmond." He tried to smile at the alpha, but the pain was too much to bear. "Sorry to break the happy moment of the rankings, but I have an issue.. Something snapped in my leg when the moose landed on the bank." He looked back at his right hind leg. "I suppose I'll see Orion or Sofiel after we take the moose back to the pack." He nodded and carried on to help drag the moose from the waters, or even tearing chunks of meat off to carry back. He avoided any contact with is leg. The pain wasn't bad if it wasn't touched, but the water in no way helped his condition. He moved slower than most of the others, but refused to not assist in the bringing back of the carcass in which they struggled to bring down. The beast killed one of their own and although Desmond was not happy with their performance, he was proud of his pack mates to be able to take down such a monster with limited numbers. He paused from bringing the moose to the pack and walked over to Ashlen's body. He didn't know her at all, but he wished he did. It still hurt him of her death regardless. He spoke a few words. "May you rest easy, my dear. You will be greatly missed." He lowered his head down and nuzzled the lifeless body of his pack mate and walked over to Orion. "Perhaps you could fix me up after we get home, and after Emily's cared for." He smiled at the blind brute, knowing that he could not see it. He limped off to help tear the moose apart so the rest of the pack could feast upon the monster who killed one of their Healers. Slowly moving back into the water, Finnick began to tug at the body to try and help pull it onto the bank to make it easier to break apart and take back to their home. |

| Finally. The beast had fallen. His amber gaze had glittered with triumph as the moose had fallen into the waters, sending the crimson colored liquid splashing all over Twelve. He squinted slightly but apart from that did not even seem to notice as he waded through the waters to where it lay fallen. He lifted his tail high out of the waters and pulled himself to the shore, completely soaked due to having to keep near the beast's head during the attack meaning he'd had to stay in the slightly deeper waters. At least the Spring sun had gained strength as Summer began to come nearer and nearer and it helped dry the remaining dampness clinging to his multicolored pelt after he shook it thoroughly. However his ears fell and he tilted his head as one of the other pack members pulled themselves form the beneath the moose with a snarl, obviously in pain. This reminded him of his fallen pack mates and his joy at killing the beast subsided for a few moments. His amber gaze found the two females, one still alive though just about and the other evidently dead. He shook his head and turned calmly as the alpha Desmond finally addressed his pack.
His ears remained pinned against his head at the scolding and the wolf frowned, it was true they had been all over the place and lives had been lost but in all fairness it had been their first time working together. It was quite possible the many still held on to the techniques their former packs had used for hunting and had yet to come to a conclusion as to what would it would be now that they all lived within the one pack. However he took the words with his head lowered although he did not flinch once and as the male finished he lifted his head slowly. The alpha was quick to give out each rank with little emotion or joy and Twelve felt his tail lower as he realized he would remain a warrior. He could not help feel a small stir of disappointment and slight anger even. He had worked hard, pushing himself as far as he could do in efforts to impress Desmond and possibly get a high rank yet no, his efforts had been in vain. He sighed and shook his head, he was acting childish. The warrior dipped his head in congratulation to the newly ranked wolves and once again listened as his alpha continued to speak.
Breeze, now a Delta, offered to carry the wolf who had died who he now knew was called Ashlen and was quickly helped by the new Warrior. Flicking his tail, Twelve turned and padded slowly over to the Omega, Emily. He turned and blinked at Desmond. "I'll help carry Emily back. I was a healer for part of my time in my previous pack before realizing warrior suited me better but I do have some healing skills and could help Orion?" He stated, his words ending more in a question. He would never switch to the rank of a healer, no he was a true warrior at heart but that didn't mean he couldn't help out due to the pack's lack of that particular rank. However he would ask the alpha first to make sure he did not have any 'warrior duties' he wanted done. He turned and nodded at the healer and stood by Emily, ready to help carry her home. |

| By the time her plan had truly sprung into action, Fel could already tell it was pointless. They were more organized now under her one raspy voice, but the moose was about to die anyway. She could see the exhaustion in his body that was so tempting for him to give in to. Still, they attacked him as directed and won… But the prey fell on Finnick faster than Fel could jump in and stop the body from crushing him. He seemed to get away, besides being caught by the leg. But hunting injuries were hunting injuries. Unfortunately, it would be up to the healers now.
Fel stepped out of the water, having a slight cut on her brow for darting too close to the moose’s antlers while pushing him out of the water. The gash stung pleasantly and dribbled with blood, to which Fel smiled mentally. It didn’t matter much to her, and she would not bother the healers about it. She knew what dock was and where to find it, and the healers had enough on their plate. In fact, the feeling of any sort of pain made her feel more alive. It proved she could feel something. The demonic fae watched the pack with an icy, unforgiving stare as Desmond scolded them. She had just recently convinced him to stay, and now they were undoing the entire effect. Idiots, the lot of them. But still, Desmond seemed willing to hand out promotions. Fel did not notice the lack of a glance given to her, as she did not give Desmond one either. All she gave was a simple, silent dip of the head in gratitude. It was certainly good to finally achieve that rank… Teren could just as well kiss her furry ass now. But the raven wolf’s mind was not on the promotion, but rather on what needed to be done. Oh, how foolish all of these wolves seemed to be. They were beaten, bloodied, and they had allowed a member of the pack to die. But most seemed to be caught in their own little world of their promotions so far. Yes, the healer and omega made idiotic mistakes, but it was the entire pack’s responsibility to keep each other safe. If they had been more organized, none of this would’ve happened. Her piercing glare drifted to Finnick, resting upon him and softening at least to the point of indifference. When Desmond finished and he began to limp into the water to do as he was told, she called to him, “Finnick, get out of there. If you can’t walk properly, you’re only going to strain yourself more.” The newly announced beta turned her gaze to the female healer remaining, “Sofiel, get Finnick to the healer’s den and tend to him.” Fel padded into the water, helping the wolves move the beast out and tear it into pieces. After many minutes of furious tugging and pulling, tearing and snapping, she dismantled the head and a piece of the neck. It was one of the heaviest pieces, and the neck alone had enough meat for two. Carrying the trophy by the jaw, she huffed to Des, "I'll get this thing cleaned out for you. Though if you don't want it, let me know." With a grunt, the demon continued on past Orion and into the forest, the beast's antlers hanging to either side of her chest and a continuous dribbling of scarlet droplets falling onto her forepaws from the neck. If Desmond didn't want the head, she would gladly keep it to sharpen her teeth upon. Her path would then continue to the little dirt patch way past the healer's den and closer to the clearing where their bones and scraps were left to rot. |

| The moose had died. It's body had shaken as his legs became unable to hold his body weight due to the blood loss. But as its last movement was made before he died, he threw his weight to the side. The side where Finnick had latched onto once again, and then he fell. No doubt trying to kill another of his pack before succumbing to the darkness that was creeping upon him. Wading further into the water, his advance was cut short as he saw the Hunter wiggling out from beneath the beast as he surfaced. He let out a sigh of relief that he had lived, even though his growls afterwards were a hint that something had happened midst his move to get away. Turning back to the shore, his golden eyes immediately locked onto the frame of his Alpha. He had returned, but he did not look happy. Letting a sigh come from his jaws, he dipped his head in respect. The words that would come from the earth colored male's jaws were not going to be all good. Yes they had taken down the prey, but at the cost of one confirmed death and a possible other. To both Desoto and his superiors, they had failed. He wasn't sure how the other pack members saw it, but that was how he was. He would eat tonight, but not without thinking of the victims of the moose's defensive power.
He was shocked. To hear that promotions were being given out still despite the outcome of the hunt. The first was Pharika. No longer an omega, but a warrior. He nodded his head to her in a congratulations before he turned back to his Alpha. To his surprise, Desmond was facing him too, looking at him for a moment before he actually spoke. Delta!? He was to be promoted to Delta? The fith highest ranking? He was excited, but he did not let it show as the Alpha was still speaking. He was to train the others, help them improve their skills. And Breeze, the black pelted female, was to assist him as the female counterpart of his rank. Swishing his tail he gave a firm nod to his Alpha, "Thank you, sir. I will do my best to teach those I stand among here in order to improve their own skills. I will not disappoint." Looking over to Breeze he gave her a small nod of respect and congratulations. He stayed listening to whom else had reached higher in the ranks. Erabus as the Lead Warrior, Finnick to Lead Hunter, and Fel up to Beta. They were well given out he thought. Each member who had been given a new rank deserved it. He offered a small congratulations before he turned back to the moose. It was still in the water and needed to be retrieved. Finnick was already there but since he was injured, he shouldn't be. He didn't pay no mind to it though, just helped him pull. Sofiel was ordered to handle him, he was sure that orders from their brutish female superior would get him moving. For now all he could do was given the last task of the hunt. And that was to carry this thing back to the camp.

| Much like he had expected, the thick bull was giving up. Obviously exhausted and in pain, the amount of blood the beast was losing came in large amounts. The injuries he sustained too much to handle, the monster was suffering in agony and in the short moments of getting inside of the water, Erabus knew the hunt was finished. The bull would no longer be able to go on and fight and even if it tried to run now, it's efforts to escape would be in vain. It would die. It will die. Bi-colored orbs closing into slits, they would narrow as the brute would closely observe the bull as its solid legs would buckle: unable to support the herbivores weight any more causing the beasts weight all on one side. There was no point now in completing his task given, the moose was already down and with its current state, breaking the leg would do nothing but add more pain and waste his energy.
Anger in the form of a growl, Erabus would listen with his auds perched as he would focus his gaze on where the noise came from. The bull's mass was on top of one of his pack mates. Finnick, be believed. It was obvious the male had earned an injury though as the brute would push himself out from beneath, the warrior could not tell how bad his wound was or would be. Figure still tense, the brute would just watch the monster slowly succumb to his injuries and fade away, its crimson liquid seeping into the river's water and filling it as it flowed. The substance would circle around the warrior's legs, barely grazing his underbelly as it moved to stain the brutes bronze fur coat. A voice broke out, the sound drenched with frustration and displeasure. Turning his body and head to see who was the source of the raging voice, Erabus would lock his gaze onto a wolf of light tans and grey's, orbs a summer's green. Must be the Alpha.
The warrior had never met the leader of Agavos, and the time now seemed much too informal as their greeting was with scolding words. Head low to be aligned with his shoulders, the large brute would listen to his leader along with the sound of his own body. Auds twitching as his breathing would steady, the pounding of his heart inside his chest decreasing slowly to fall back into its natural rhythmic beat as he calmed himself down. The adrenaline fleeing his veins like he was a disease, the brute soon felt tired and much like everyone would be, slightly excited. They had taken down a bull, a vicious one at that and while what the Alpha said was true. One of their members did die. It was the fae's own fault for making such a careless attack towards the bucking legs. It was as if she had wanted to die or actually just didn't care. Orbs keen to the forest floor, the warrior would just wait for the Alpha to finish and when he began with the thought of promotions, Erabus' interest was sparked just a tad.
The wolves granted such rankings were well deserved and as the Agavos leader would continue, the brute would let his gaze rise only to see the male looking directly at him. Lead warrior? Wasting no time, the newly appointed male would dip his head down in thanks, not speaking as there was no need like some of the wolves had done. As a born and raised warrior, to be the Lead of such a rank was thrilling and like he had felt back then, to gain the rank again sent a familiar feeling down into his heart. Erabus would train the wolves better than his own mentors did before.. he would not be like them and lose anyone this time. They would be ready. Trotting over to the carcass, the brute would sink his teeth into the still warm flesh, his jaws locking tightly as he would began with the others to pull the thing back to camp. It certainly was a prize. |
