| Evelette awoke, flickering her tail in alertness. Standing high, ears perked and paws planted firmly on the earth, the female began a steady pace through a large clearing stumbling across a lake. Water... Her mouth began to tingle, it was the perfect time to take a dip and refresh herself for the morning sun seemed fairly warm. Dipping her crown the ashen fae began to lap up the water enjoying the cool water trickle down her throat filling her thirst, though Eve was still hungry. Although she didn't enjoy fish, she gave it a try, after all she needed something to fill her small stomach and surely a fish would do the trick. Standing patiently, not moving a muscle. A fish surfaced to catch a small water bug, immediately Eve dove into the shallow water, clamping the fish and locking her jaws tightly. Quickly retreating to her haunches she enjoyed what little bitter taste the trout had.
Turning her crown and she lifted herself from her rump beginning yet another slow trot back. Moments later Eve paused noticing a young deer wandering into her view. The prey was unaware of Eve's presence which made the hunt all the more easy. Crouching down the female slowly lifted her body high off the ground, exposing herself for the attack, and seconds after she found herself bolting forth towards the small animal.
Due to its size it made it easier for her to catch up, And on a plus Eve's build was that of a runner. Drawing closer Eve swiftly sprang aiming for the hind legs, causing the deer to tumble and fall. This created dust as the pair tumbled, and with a quick, whiplash of her crown followed by a hard incision to the jugular it soon fell limp. Her tail flickered behind her as she released her grip, pondering about what to do with the now dead deer. Stuttering for a breif moment Eve soon found that during her hunt, she had come across a boundary. The aroma of other wolves was everywhere, She knew just from their scents a pack thrived here. "Strange... Perhaps this Pack will be willing to add to their numbers."

| The ebony black female slowly moved out of her large den into the evening's light, glistening yellows and greens filled her eyes, a long yawn howling from her throat. Juno had slept through the morning, still recovering from the cougar encounter and wondered where the day had went. The sun was at the sky's center shining directly through the trees above her head, peeking rays of warmth on her dark pelt as she stretched her limbs out before her. Before she could take off in search for a filling meal, her black ears pierced against her skull, nose twitching at the foreign scent of a wolf coming from the border's direction. A newcomer? How exciting. Juno hadn't been Delta for very long and had never accepted a fae at all since the promotion. Her soon-to-be mate, Marrok usually did it before she even got the chance. Shoulders back, chin held high she walked in a dominant trot showing her rank with pride and dignity, taking her time wisely to think of how she was going to welcome the wolf.
Juno thought back to the time she was accepted long ago. Creek had welcomed her, the healer whom helped her through the recovery over the cougar encounter with Marrok. The scar on her maw was faint from the cat's sharp claws, small patches of fur still missing but growing over well enough to cover the mark. Healer Creek was kind and friendly to her from the get-go, walking her to the clearing bringing up a small conversation to keep her at ease with the fact that things around her were new then, much different from her previous pack. The ebony female was granted the rank of a warrior, then after working hard throughout the pack and socializing with most of the packmates soon then was replaced with the Delta rank, working along side the Elite Kenai and her one and only love, Marrok. The sound of his voice and even his touch made her fuzzy in side, sending waves of warmth through her body, into her caring heart that only beat for him.
As the light came closer, her emerald eyes squinted as they adjusted to the new lighting around her. The border. The pack's boundary line stood before her, brining back old memories when she was a newcomer. It was almost like she could see her younger self standing on the other side, singing a call for one to meet her. Things had changed since then, she had met a lot of other wolves whom managed to break down her wall and even one special brute that captured her heart. A sweet tender smile slowly crept on her black maw at the memories. Her thoughts were soon interrupted by the strong scent of a female lacing through her snout, the grin still on her face as she looked to the left of the border to see a fae, mouth covered in blood from a kill.
Juno stalked out of the wood's edge, making her way in front of the smaller female that stood on the other side. Her gaze looking over the other's average build, giving a more dominant stance than she. The black fae was naturally taller than most, her long elegant legs paratactically made her tower over other females. "Evening female, I am Delta Juno." Her grin had faded, left emotionless as her eyes were not, for they were glowing like two emerald stones in the sunlight."What is your doing of coming to these lands?" Juno stood completely composed, not giving a damn to sit because she felt that she could be more assertive standing in front of a newcomer instead. Her obsidian colored tail pressed against her back, showing dominance in a well-mannered stance. She wouldn't let the fae think she was some lower rank for she came from a long line of strong Alphas, breed on purpose to be a great Alphess like them someday, unfortunately she left out of love, living off on their own but was soon taken away with the death of both her previous mate and newborn pup. Now she was moving her way up the ranks, working and training hard with the Elite in hope to work closer with Alpha Azul himself someday. |

| It was not long before the presence of another came to the lupa's snout. Upon the strangers approach Eve cuuld see there was something about this she wolf that was important. Perhaps it was her dominate stance? Her softening hues, Or even the soothing tone of her voice. She displayed little aggression, Seemed she more interested than anything else. Announcing her rank, Delta. Eve immediately took a step back lowering her head in respect of the she who stood inches before her, though her tail was wavering in interest. "It seem's I was right, there is in fact a pack thriving and residing within these lands. I am Evelette. My reason for being here is just that. I've been living alone for quite some time, And starting a fresh is something I'm more than willing to do. I have experience in both Hunting and Fighting. Intelligence at its best."
Lifting her cranium Eve's gaze met the females. She was well built, slim and slender with a fragile frame. Built for running. She wore a coat of ebony, completely opposite to the light shades of Eve's own. Her eyes were a piercing emerald hue. Awaiting the femme's response Eve softly sat herself down on her rump awaiting the lupa's response.

| [[ My apologies Evelette, I would of replied sooner but I was just leaving from vacation and I had no time to reply to anything. ]]
Juno wasn't surprised to see the female had done a slight bow to her presence, though she lay completely still as if she barely noticed it. She'd became immune to the bowing from coming from a royal family for which was commonly bowed to quite frequently if seen walking around the camp's grounds. Nodding along to her skills, Juno scanned the fae's every feature a welcoming smile upon her ebony maw. The she-wolf was a much much lighter shade than she, a pelt with ivory and ashen swirls wrapped around a slim build, almost like a mix between Caretaker Genevieve and Warrior Ember, two individuals she'd come to know in her earlier days of being in this pack. "Your performance of extent towards my being is not necessary, although I am grateful to know you show respect." She gave a tender smile and nodded before she continued, the potential in such a fae caught her eye and she yearned to hear more of her abilities. "You say you have experienced in both hunting and fighting eh? Please do tell. Can you take down a large buck by your lonesome self? Would you be able to fight off a wolf if necessary in order to live?"
Her held tilted a tad bit to the side, curiosity dancing within her irises. The she-wolf was beginning to feel excited, a twitch to the end of her tail brought her back to reality. She stopped, there was no need to be acting so foolish in front of a newcomer, it was ridiculous and childish to act in such ways. Piercing her ears back, she surrendered under her own legs and sat down just like the Evelette. Such a pretty name, I wonder how she got it... It seemed there was a meaning behind everyone of her packmates' names. Juno was told by her father that the name Juno came from the Roman goddess, the queen of all gods and goddesses. The meaning didn't mean much to her though, she just figured it was a nice name and it suit her well. Others even Marrok seemed to like it which made her much more comfortable knowing that even he liked it. Where does she fit in? She stared at the fae, awaiting her response in silence as the ebony fae was questioning herself in thought. |
