| It was the male's first full day in the pack. So far he had only met Azul who had greeted him at the border. Hoping to meet more wolves the old male felt like traveling the pack lands in the early morning. The clearing held no signs of awake life, so his paws led him outside the main clearing and into a grassy field with wild flowers. Signing in happiness he walked on, slowly becoming lost in the sea of shoulder high colors. Grasshoppers bounced around him as he disturbed the grass and behind him he could see small trails that he had made as he walked. Deciding to pick up the pack Alimar started to trot about, loosening up his cranky joints and feeling a small burn in his aching hip. It was a good pain, one that made him humble about his age and reminded him that others had it far worse than he did.
Coming to a small open area in the flowers Alimar lay down, surrounded by blues, yellows and green. Almost totally hidden the tall grass he decided to take a small rest before continuing his search for other pack members. Closing his eyes he started to doze and dreams of his past floated around him. Ones of triumph over a fight or the softness of his mate's touch. The joy of seeing his sons play and the warmth of a pack howl after a promotion. |

| The young apprentice moved through the area, fascinated with the different plants, flowers, and berry bushes. He sniffed a bush of Juniper berries, nipping a few off of their beaches and swallowing them. He couched slightly, tasting the bitter-sweet berry explode over his tastebuds. He looked up to the skies, seeing birds flutter through the air with ease. Tilting his head, he bound forward, chasing a butterfly that had been on the Juniper bush. Chasing the butterfly, he slightly hoped his mother would come along and accompany him on his adventure, but knew he may get into a little trouble for exploring out on his own without adult supervision. He hadn't seen his parents as often since they had their jobs to do, and they were all learning how to do things on their own without their parents help. he slightly missed when he was little and his mother and father would caress them in their love for their young, but he knew it would have been shortly lasted as they would have to grow up sooner or later.
Looking forward, he continued to trot along, coming across a male sleeping. Levi walked up to him cautiously, unaware that anyone was here when he arrived. He looked around to see if anyone had accompanied him here, but to no traces of other life. He came close to the male, who was clearly an older brute, sniffing around him. Sitting himself in front of the brute, he prodded him with his paw. "Hey Mister, are you dead or are you sleeping?" He questioned, speaking a little louder to see if his voice would wake the male. He sat and watched to see if the male would respond to his poking and prodding. |

| Julian trudged his way unhappily through the territory. It had been a while since his encounter with the Erenxy male. The male had intrigued him. Not only was he so brave as to battle it out with Fenris he also was brave enough to smart talk an eagle. Huffing the sandy colored male padded along. He hated it here, he wished he had been born into Erenxy, he wished his parents would just let him be until next spring. Even if he wasn't welcome at Erenxy he would still try, he couldn't live the rest of his life in this stupid pack. Growling again he flung his paw forward, sending a small pebble that was in his path flying away. Why couldn't he just leave now? Why couldn't he just disappear? It's not like he was going to be out on his own. He was going to be with the only decent pack in these lands. Approaching a clearing his nose twitched at the scent of the multicolored flowers the filled it, though he also scented two wolves he didn't know. However, they did carry the Helidos scent. Within the clearing lay an older male, and on the opposite edge of the clearing of Julian stood a male of similar age to himself. He had heard that Nnyla and Drogo had had a litter. This must have been one of theirs. Well, he might has well do something with his time.
"Whats up, Old one and fellow apprentice?" were the only words that came from his maw. He didn't have to be nice, just attempt to. Besides, he didn't know these wolves names, what else was he supposed to call them? Flicking his tail he sat where he was within the flowers, watching both of them. He didn't see a reason to remain standing. The longer he sat there the wider of a grin that formed on his ebony lips. He had snuck out, again. However this time he didn't wander over the territory lines, at least not yet. Though he would surely make it there again. The repercussions of his last exposition should have him grounded to the camp, unless accompanied by an adult. As if he would listen to that. If he didn't follow the rules before what made them think he would follow them now? His goal was to be kicked from the pack before next spring, but he doubted it would happen. His parents were far too clingy for that. So here he sat, with these two losers, surely waiting for one of his parents to come scold him. |

| Alimar chuckled and cracked one eye open at the first pup to join him. "I am neither dead nor asleep young one, at least not anymore." He said, raising up to a sit. "I am Alimar a Elder of Helidos, and who might you be? A fierce warrior or a cunning hunter perhaps?" He asked, knowing full well this pup wasn't old enough t hold rank, but he knew how the young liked to boast and such. Just then the second visitor spoke, a bit more rude than the first. "And who might you be apprentice? I didn't know there were two litters born in this pack, are you from the Alpha pair?" He asked, stretching his front legs out then sliding back down to the ground.
"It's such a nice day out I decided to take a nap here in the tall grass and think about past hunts I've done. My pack used to hunt for bucks bigger than bears and in herds more than a thousand. Ahh such great times." He said, starting to go on a tangent. "Though my hunts were nothing compared to those I heard from a traveler once. He told me he heard of a land covered in yellow grass and riddled with huge animals. One had a skinny neck and was taller than a tree. Another had a very long nose used to pick up things and two horn coming from its mouth. Yet the most fierce was the large cats that roamed the lands. They had lots of fur around their necks and were twice the size of the cougars here. Wolf there had spots and would sing to each other at hunts. Such a place to see." |

| The pup tumbled backwards as the loaf of wolf rose from his seat. He laughed a little after he started to peak of how he was not dead, and no longer asleep. He looked up at the older male, who identified himself as Elder Alimar. He tilted his head, wondering where he had come form, since he only know of Azul being the only Elder in Helidos. "I'm Levi. Eldest son of Guardian Drogo and Elite Nnyla. I'm going to be a Guardian like my father." He could;t help but boast about his family. He was proud to be the son of two wolves who were all known and respected within Helidos. He smiled and looked at the male, examining all his scars. "When did you get here, Mister Alimar? I thought Azul was the only Elder in Helidos?" The tri-colored male questioned the older brute. Wondering how long he had been here. He hadn't seen him before nor heard of him through the pack until now. He said and waited for a response from the male before having the short silence interrupted. Another Apprentice. He looked at the slightly older pup as he spoke to them in a not-so-nice manner. He sat, understanding that this would soon become an intelligent conversation, which he happened to enjoy. "I am Apprentice Levi. Who might you be, fellow apprentice?" These words came from his mouth smoothly, sounding like it was his natural way of speaking than his rough puppy manner. He liked it, and thought about talking a little more intelligently than he had been the last couple of weeks. He smiled to himself, then returned to awaiting a response from either of the two males before him. |
