| Large paws carried an ebony being through the forest, the form slithering amongst the trees like a shadow on a wall. The setting sun matched the brooding twin pools of amber on the faes face, her nose guiding her towards a strong scent marker. Stopping at the unseen line in the forest her nose twitched, yes this was it, this was the border she had been sniffing out. The female had followed the faint scent right up to this very point, knowing by the mingle of various wolf scents that it was in fact a pack. Muscles tightened and claws dug into the soft earth as memories of her previous outcast came rushing back; blood, pain, familiar scents, confusion, fangs and flashes of rushing fur covered bodies, the bodies of her family, her own flesh and blood, chasing her out of the only home she'd ever know. Shaking her head she gave a growl, rolling her shoulders in an attempt to loosen up her body, she could do this, she needed to do this.
Lizara felt her lungs swell with a deep breath she wasn't conciously taking and her head dropped back, the air in her lungs rushing out sending her call spiraling up into the trees, echoing off of their leaf covered branches, deep into the pack's territory. Seconds ticked by and the last puffs of air whisped from between her coal colored lips, her howl dying down she lowed her maw. Here she would stand patiently, she would not sit, she would not allow herself to entirely relax until she knew how the pack members would react to her call. Her eyes skimmed the surrounding area and her ears twitched as she listened carefully for any approach, she was well aware that this may take a while, who knew how large this pack's territory was, it may be a long trek for whomever intended to answer her call. She stood prepared to take action, whether that be an action of defense or an action of submission to a high ranking member of the residing pack, she knew she couldn't allow herself to get comfortable on the edge of a packs border.

Let's set fire to our insides, for fun. Evening was a beautiful time of the day in Tundra's opinion although dawn was a strong contender for which contained the most beauty. Right now though the setting sun cast beautiful colours of pink and red onto the dusty blue sky and the further it sank the more these colours would darken to an almost purple and the sky a navy as small stars would appear. During the hot summer months this was a time where wolves would emerge from where they'd been hiding from the heat in their dens and take the opportunity to hunt and talk as they enjoyed the relief from the stifling heat. Tundra had not been spending a lot of time in the actual territory claimed by Erenyx for there was no one here she cared about. Samael was probably dead or ignoring her and Malachai had moved over to Pyrvanthros. Plus, Teren's young were scampering about now and everytime Tundra saw them she was filled with a disgust at herself for being so disgusted by the sight of them. It was not their fault that the sick brute was their father but he was and she could practically see it on their faces....Shaking herself, Tundra trotted briskly through the territory. As much as she would have preferred to stay out in the Neutrals, she did not want Teren growing suspicious over her absences so she would return at times and fill out some duties as his Guardian. She normally tried to avoid going on hunts due to her loss of an appetite and seeing the food sickened her so she took to patrolling the borders. It was on this particular evening that a howl sounded from not too far off and Tundra groaned inwardly. The borders had been on the quiet side recently, why did it have to be on the one night she was patrolling that a newcomer decided to check out the lands. Shifting her position slightly, Tundra headed in the direction at a slow pace. They could wait and she wanted time to gather her thoughts. However all too soon she was reaching the tree line and the form of another come into sight. She was a dark furred fae, a fair bit taller than Tundra and she stood near the border but on the right side. She sighed to herself, a poor fae ready to submit herself into a pack who would never take her seriously due to her gender. She would've liked to warn her but the risk of getting caught was too great and if there was any chance that Samael was still out there plotting the death of Teren then she'd have to keep her maw shut for a little longer. The white furred Guardian strode forward, her tail arched above her back in dominance and her sharp hazel gaze was narrowed. "Greetings loner, please state your name and reason for calling for assistance at our border. Make it quick too, I don't have all the time of the world on my paws." Her tail tip twitched and she awaited a reply. She hoped this wolf was cooperative and knew about respect and submission, the one's who thought they were "too good" for such a thing pissed her off and it took so long to get them accepted. Apologies for the wait Lizara! Let's make this quick so you can be accepted.

| As the ebony female stood in waiting her ears swiveled, attempting to catch the sound of any approach. Seconds ticked by rolling slowly into minutes testing the young females patience, though she continued to stand nearly motionless at the scent line. Soft paw steps sounded somewhere infront of Lizara and ember orbs scanned the terrain, stopping on a ghostly white fae, at her approach Lizara allowed her tail to press against the inside of her hind leg in submission and her head to dip in respect. She couldn't screw this up, she needed to play the victim for now, she would work on asserting herself later. Words laced with authority and boredom dripped from the smaller white female's maw and Lizara gave herself a few moments to compose a decent response. 'Good, she doesn't want to waste any time either. Time to make a good first impression with a higher ranking wolf...'. Flexing her claws into the soft ground Lizara breathed in and out once to assure that her words would be steady.
"Hello, I am Lizara and I have approached your boarders this evening to inquire about joining this pack." she replied, her head still dipped and her tail still pressed firmly against her inner thigh. Her mind howled in protest as she stood infront of this smaller female, submitted like a helpless pup, she couldn't stand appearing weak. However she knew that this female would most likely ask about her skills, maybe even ask for a demonstration...no, she wouldn't let her mind wander to fighting at the moment, she needed to stay focused here and now. Letting her eyes rest on the other faes paws she listened closely for a response, she couldn't let her mind wander, without focus she might blow her chances of success here.

Let's set fire to our insides, for fun. Her hazel gaze narrowed as she watched the fae before her, taking note of every little movement made. However much to Tundra's relief, she didn't seem too keen on wasting time with the big 'I'm better than you, I don't need to submit' act anymore than Tundra was. The submission wasn't much of a display, the tail was lowered and head was dipped but no lying and rolling although the Guardian couldn't care less...Teren could keep the dramatics for himself she just wanted to know that respect was shown and that was good enough for her. She remained completely silent, not commenting on the submission or anything else. One would not get praise for such an action, it was simply what had to be done- it was not like she was going out of her way to do something Tundra wasn't expecting. You submitted if you wanted to gain entry into the pack, it was as simple as that. She flicked her ears absentmindedly as a fly buzzed around them lazily and took in the sounds of the evening as the other inhaled a few times before speaking. Lizara... Tundra rolled the name around her mind a few times before nodding to herself and letting her tail flick as she moved to lean back on her haunches tiredly. She wanted to join the pack of course and Tundra gazed at her silently for a few moments. She seemed like a good strong fae and she was clever enough to know to submit although Tundra could spot her fidgeting occasionally and it was likely that she did not like having to remain in such a position for another. It amused her to be quite honest how much this display seemed to affect wolves. When Tundra had joined Erenyx those years ago she'd been met by Beta Irrationality who had been Delta at the time, she'd submitted to him without a care for it was just part of the routine of acceptance into the pack. Every wolf in a pack had done it at some point before, except Teren and possibly his brothers but that was beside the point. It wasn't such a big deal in her opinion. "Well Lizara as you may or may not know you are standing on the border of Erenyx, led by Alpha Teren. This pack relies on strength and does not take lightly to having extra mouths to feed. As fae's appear to be weaker it can be harder for them to prove themselves here so what is it that you can bring to this pack that would make up for your staying here?"She tilted her head to the side and awaited the others reply. She hated borders so much, they just bored her beyond imagining but she supposed she'd just have to put up with it although she couldn't care less about this pack anymore. If there was any chance Samael was still out there though then she supposed she'd have to start feeling something towards these wolves. It was an odd thought and thinking of Samael left her unsettled so she dropped it and instead let herself focus on this wolf, only partially curious as to what rank it sought. She only hoped for the sake of her, this wolf and most of the wolves in this pack that Samael was still out there somehow and would slay the beast who called himself alpha of these lands.
