Chassity padded along the forest in even strides. Even though she was nearing the border, her walk remained confident. She had no fear of others and she had the scars to prove it. Some were emotional and a few were physical. The one that hurt most was her physical scar. The one given by her battle-hungry father, who was willing to kill anyone for power, even the wolves he loved the most. Well, I wouldn't say "loved". He has no heart, just the soul. But even that itself couldn't describe how hateful and miserable he was. That thought made her pause. Perhaps that's the reason she lacked emotion. Living with minimal love and connection between others can be the cause. Maybe she inherited that from her father? Well thanks to that numbskull she couldn't tell what traits she inherited from her mother. She couldn't possibly have the traits of Vanice, her step-mother. They were totally different. Even her idiotic, jealous, mind-lacking step-sibling was different. Chelsea. That's what the name was. Even though her sister, Trinity was a follower, she could indeed tell that she was no smarter than Chelsea.

She had to leave her tribe in search of something else to start fresh. There was more to life than waiting for some other wolf to challenge her every day. Truth be told, the Barbain Tribe was a very vicious tribe. There were fights left to right for the stupidest causes. The alphas and betas were quick to place labels on their own tribe members to assert their dominance. Of all, the deltas seem to be the most sane. Surprisingly. If the other higher ranking wolves were inane, why weren't they? After killing her father, she made plans to leave every day. Making them weren't easy, however. Being the tribe's guardian, she was wherever the alphas and their offspring were. If she dared to make such plans with them around, she would be gone--without being alive.

How did she leave? The move was very lucky. She had the chance to leave after her alpha was found dead after a tribal war. If she was supposed to be protecting the alpha, surely she should've been dead also? It would've been quickly assumed with all the ruffians wanting the rank of guardian anyways. They could care less of her, especially the current alphas. After killing her father, they were one of the only ones who hated her greatly. Because of Corinth's unique connection to the alphess, she managed to get away with it. Though it took months to reach the new territory border, Chassity couldn't help but thank Corinth for her determination and endurance. She wouldn't have accomplished many things without his guidance. If only he was alive now... He was the only wolf she loved deeply, and he was now gone.

Chassity took one step towards the border. Her solid blue gaze pointed towards her light, big paws. The white snow was already covering the majority of her feet. She lifted each one and shook them off one by one. The wolf wasn't going stand their and allow her paws to freeze by a pack's border. There was no way she would let such little thing hinder her movement if there was ever an altercation. The large she wolf lifted her head high and began to howl to alert any wolf on the other side. Her howl was low and deep. It also held a bit of power. Something she learned from her mentor. When she finished, she stood there looking straight ahead for someone to appear.

WORDS: 000 | TAGGED: @tag | NOTES: Killian has permission to answers borders, since the High ranks have not

He heard the call from the border and swiftly made his way to the edge of the territory. His blue eyes watched carefully as he sped through the lands. His tail hung behind his form, not rising over his back or anything of the sort. Should any of the higher ranked members seen him, he did not wish to make them angered. He headed for the guest, telling from her call that she was in fact female. It was a rather soothing sound for him to hear. The snow fell gently from the sky, and covered his mostly white fur. When he found her, she much much larger than him, but he didn't care. He was a member of the pack, and she was not. He had the final word here, especially for now. "Welcome wolf, what brings you to my packs lands? I am Killian, a hunter in these lands and have been allowed to answer your call. Do not waste my time, instead tell me immediately what you are skilled in and what you are seeking."

Aye, there is always a crisis

perhaps you should consider living your life during them, otherwise you might miss it.

Trying to make this short and quick!

Chassity spotted a wolf from the pack and immediately sighed in relief. Waiting there felt like eternity, especially being in the snow like that. Perhaps she should have walked along the border? She withheld from that simply because some wolves found that rude. It told them that the lone wolf didn't have patience. When the wolf got closer, she arched her body a little bit to stretch her legs. The wolf on the other side spoke as if he was in a hurry from what she heard. Her hears twitched when he told her to not waste his time. I won't waste your time. Trust me on that, she thought. That was true. Chassity was straightforward and she often stuck to the point. "Hello, Killian. I'm in search of a new pack to start fresh," she dipped her head. "Of all of the skills, I'm best at fighting. I can hunt, yes. However, healing is not my forte. Therefore, I am seeking the rank of a warrior." The gray wolf nodded her head. She thought over her words that she used. Her eyes widened a little when she forgot to mention her name. "My apologies, my name is Chassity."

(Thank you ^^)

Killian looked to the fae before him. She understood his urgency and spoke of her abilities briefly. He nodded his head and looked to her. "Since I am only a hunter, I would suggest you seek out either Alpha Magnus or Alphess Chiara. They will be able to tell you if you deserve a better or lesser rank than what I am going to tell you now. But from this moment, you shall be a Warrior. Though we do not have much need for them currently, as we have no 'real enemies', you will continue to protect the pack. With the way the weather and season are, you may be required to help the hunters with gathering food. You will more than likely need some training with out higher members, and whatever else they might wish for. Welcome to Pyrvanthros, your new home. I am heading back towards camp. You can follow me or go your own way, I care not." Killian nodded his head once and turned to walk back to the Pack Clearing. He would return to his usual duties.
