| It had been a few days since the male had joined the pack. The brute hadn't made many friends since then, the loner tending to want to be alone for the most part. The two friends he had made though, the ashen fae named Chiara and the pure white fae he had come to know was named Aurora were enough for the male. The brute was content with the pack life so far, after all, the prey on these new lands were plentiful and the weather warm.
The male had invited the ashen far Chiara along on this hunt with him, the fae being one of the few he felt comfortable around among the pack. He and the fae had become good friends, and for the first time Kodiak finally understood the value of companionship. He felt he could never go back to the life of a loner now.
As the male scented the wind he caught the scent of deer on the wind. At this Kodiak turned his head towards the fae, "I think there is deer nearby..." He said quietly, pausing to see if she could scent it as well. |

| With time the grey fae had grown close to the grey and white brute from the mountain. Having never had a male friend or spent this much time with one proved interesting to her. He had so many different views to things, how he saw the world, his thoughts and how he though. Everyday since his arrival she saw him at some point during the day. Since their conversation in the clearing brought two days of conversations about random things, he was proving very easy to talk to. Kodiak was also the first male since Damon who Chiara felt comfortable with. She still hadn't spoken of her bad past concerning males, but perhaps that would come with time.
Today led the pair deep into the forest, searching for prey for the pack. It was a nice spring day with no trace of the previous storm. Grass wet with dew clung to the fae's feet, making them damp, yet her mind was set on finding food. Beside her was Kodia trotting along looking for deer. Smiling behind his the fae's senses were on full, her ears swiveling around trying to locate something. Suddenly Kodiak perked up that he smelled deer. Peering ahead Chiara could almost make out the shape of a doe up ahead, but wasn't sure. "Shall we go for it?" She questioned, not knowing if he wanted a deer or small prey to hunt. With spring bringing out most of the prey the wolves could afford to be choosey with what they hunted, Chiara didn't care one way or the other in the matter. |

| At the fae's inquiry the male simply nodded, before turning and stalking off in the direction of the doe. The brute was surprisingly quiet for his size, his large paws absorbing the sound of his careful steps quite well. Even though the male knew that hunting deer could be dangerous he was quite confident in this hunt. Many times before the male had hunted deer or similar prey alone, so with company it would be even easier.
When the pair had crept up within fifty feet of the doe, the male settled down on his belly, hiding among a thick line of brushes, and his eyes intent on the prey ahead. What he was looking for was the doe to bend down to eat some grasses, this is when he intended to strike. In those few moments he spared one glance over his shoulder to see if the fae was on the same page as him. He spoke mostly through body language now, as close as they were to their quarry. |

| Following the male forward Chiara cept up with him until he paused to lower himself down in the grass. Eying the prey before her, Chiara's motions became fluid like a snake. Almost slithering through the grass her body became lower and her steps more calculated. Ahead was indeed a doe, not awfully large, but enough to feed the pair. Having not hunted deer in some time the fae was glad to have company for this hunt. Deer could be tricky, so having another set of eyes and teeth was appreciated. Glancing at the male beside her she waited for any sign that she should run forward to start on attack. Perhaps she should wait until it bent down to feed, or turned around? Not having hunted deer in a forest was going to be interesting.
Suddenly the deer turned slightly to the right and bent down half way to nibble on a bush. Excited by this prospect the fae forgot she was hunting with Kodiak and sprung forward, leaving him behind her. Like a flash she covered ground quickly before the doe heard her. Turning sharply the doe bolted to the right, making Chiara miss an initial attack. The doe however was open on the right side as the fae pounded after it. |

| The male grew excited when the doe seemed to turn slightly away from them and bend down to eat. As he rose to start his attack, the fae had already burst from the bush, starting her attack on the doe. Kodiak paused for a moment, slightly surprised before smiling slightly and chasing after her and the deer. The male was right behind the fae as she lunged at the doe, but missed.
The male reacted quickly though, managing latch his fangs onto the deer's neck. He had not gotten too well of a grip on the doe though, the animal slipping away. Kodiak snarled slightly agitated by this.
As he chased after the deer he was able to catch another scent although, there were more deer nearby, the herd he could spot just to their right as he swiveled his head around. A buck had run up to the scene to protect his herd now.
All these things seemed to happen so fast to the male, and time seemed to slow as he watched the buck approach Chiara from her flank as she chased the deer, she seemed to be oblivious in her pursuit. In only a few moments the buck's any let's would connect with her.
In those few moments his thoughts went back to his father and his death from being impaled by the antlers of a deer. Kodiak, resolved at that moment he would not let this happen again.
Almost without thought, the brute veered off his course, pushing the fae hard out of the way. He had already had a plan, he would first get Chiara out of the way before trying to escape himself. As the male tried to dodge the antlers of the buck the brute instantly recognized just in how much trouble he had gotten himself in. The brute managed to get past a few of the pointed tips, but a split second later the buck connected with three of the sharp prongs. Kodiak let out a loud yelp, as the antlers stabbed him. One burying deep in his shoulder and the other two along his flank. The male instantly retreated pulling the antlers out of himself in the process. His fur already stained with his own blood.
He took a few steps away from the buck, who still pointed his horns at the male, threatening to strike again as the male fell to the ground a few steps later. Pain had already erupted throughout the male, the initial shock also doing well in incapacitate him. |

| Not seeing the buck Chiara continued to chase the doe, nearing closer by every step. Just as she was about to lunge at the deer Kodiak let out a sound that caused her to turn to see the buck run at her. Frozen as to how to respond Chiara slammed on the breaks and braced herself for impact. The buck got closer, so much that Cjiara could almost feel his hot breath on her pelt. Shrinking back she prepared for the worse when Kodiak ran in and shoved her aside. Letting out a grunt Chiara nearly hit a bush before turning back to see the male be impaled by the buck. Kodiak was sent flying and the buck turned to attack him again, forgetting about her all together.
Conern filled the female, overtaking her fear of the large buck. It ran at Kodiak again, its antlers lowered and Chiara's instincts took over. bolting at the buck she ran in front of him, kicking out with her back paws to slap him across the nose. Luckily it distracted him enough to turn on her and forget the injured male. Charging at her now Chiara ducked and weaved through the trees until she could double back to lunge at the buck head on. Surprised by her forward attck the deer reared up, striking out with his front hooves. Snarling at the deer CHiara rushed forward, avoiding its hooves and body slamming it, causing it to fall over. Now fearing more for its own life than the doe the buck struggled to its feet and started to back off, still snorting. The fae let out a few more snarls and soon the buck started to run off, leaving the pair alone.
Turning back to Kodiak Chiara ran back to him, sniffing at his wounds. "Hey you ok?" She questioned, concern heavy in her voice. |

| The strength seemed to pour from Kodiak, just as the crimson liquid did at a steady rate. With every passing second the large brute felt weaker, not able to think as clearly now. The male saw the fae approach him now, his vision dimmed for a few seconds as he moved his head to see the fae better. He could faintly hear her words, but he hadn't lost enough blood yet for him to not be able to make out her words. The male, even in his current state with three gaping holes in him did not want to worry the fae.
After a few moments, he tried to stand, managing to get half way up before falling down again. Blood poured out even faster now from the exertion. His attempts had only made matters worse. Kodiak winced slightly, as the pain began to set in now, after the initial shock, and everything seemed to spin as he lost more blood, his whole flank now colored red.
The male shuddered slightly, as he now coughed up a small amount of blood, and his breathing was slightly wheezy now. Kodiak coughed once more, his head falling down now and lying on the ground, although he was still slightly conscious. At the fae's question he shook his head slightly now, not sparing any energy to speak. |

| Soft paws pressed on the grass below, moving quickly amd silently. A black figure dashed through the woods, with elegant and graceful steps, approaching her goal. She caught a strong scent of a doe nearby and she was hungry, giving her more than enough reason to hunt that delicious creature. Silently sneaking behind the dark bushes, her pure black pelt melted with the background and her eyes and ears on it's guard, ready to catch whatever decided to approach. Her silverish blue eyes examined the surroundings for any signs of her prey, but all she caught was a strong scent of blood. And of all, wolf blood to be precise. A severly wounded brute was lying nearby and her launch must have been far away now. A dark black figure of which her color was, lingered in shadows, observing. There were two wolves it seemed. One beeing an injured male and the other one a confident fae as it seemed.
The other fae was standing by the wounded brute, checking his wounds. Asteria saw as the male tried to stand up, but with so much blood lost, it was an impossible task. She had suffered injuries like that before and from her own experience she knew that it was never a good idea to fight the injury. If he was to move around, only more nlood would drain and he would only make it worst! But there was no cure for pride and trying to show strenght in front of a fae, especially in this season. When she concluded it was enough of just being a smart ass and actually do something, she moved her tail to make a quiet sound on purpose, jusy enough to alert the two of her presence. It wasn't of her wish to scare them by surprising them with her sudden appearence and so she patiently waited for the two to notice her. Only then she stepped into the light, letting the warm sunrays eluminate her pitch black pelt. Her eyes were the color of a silverish blue moon and they shined beautifuly in warmth and kindness. When both the brute and the fae were focused on the newcomer she addressed them in soft and loving words, mumbling a silent comment to her self. "By the god of thunder... What happened here?" She was catious and she would not approach the pair before they would trust her that she means no harm. She patiently waited for the two to let her in on the details. |

| Kiv carefully picked up the bundle of herbs that he had spent the better part of the day collecting. Creek had asked him to go and find a couple things and so away he had gone. They weren’t terribly rare herbs, but they were important and Kiv had had to search for them, since he was not incredibly familiar with everywhere that the herbs grew in this area. So far, he had collected a few stalks of Alder, two Marigold plants, two stalks of Yarrow, and some cobwebs, carefully wound around some leafy twigs. Obviously, he was very careful not to swallow any of this.
Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted a big patch of Dock plants and gave a happy little yip before bounding over and carefully setting down his bundle of herbs so he could add a few to it. However, once the herbs were out of his mouth—and away from his nose—he realized that there was something going on. The coppery scent of blood wafted to him on the breeze. Had someone just made a kill? Sniffing the air, he picked up his bundle of herbs, now with a couple shoots of Dock included, and followed the scent. It was harder, what with all of the herbs right next to his nose, but now that he knew that it was there, he was able to make it out enough to follow.
Soon enough, though, his nose was no longer necessary as he saw three wolves up ahead, one of which was lying on the ground. As he drew nearer, he recognized one of the standing wolves as Chiara, but he did not recognize either of the other two. The smell of blood was strong now, but there was no kill in sight. That meant…Kiv looked down at the wolf lying on the ground. There were three holes in his flank, all of which fairly oozed blood. Judging by the size of the stained ground beneath him, the male had already lost a fair amount of blood. Suddenly wishing that Healer Creek were here, Kiv set down his mouthful of herbs. “What happened?” he asked, eyes widening slightly. A couple of his lessons with Creek kicked in, though, and he forced himself to calm down. Creek was not here, so he would just have to do this himself as it did not really look like the male had the strength to stand up or be moved all the way back to the Healer’s Den.
He lowered his head so he could look the male in the eye. “My name is Kiv, I’m going to help you. Just try to lay still, okay?” Not like he could get up and run around, but better safe than sorry. Straightening back up, he looked over at Chiara and laid his ears back a little bit in embarrassment. This was certainly not how he imagined that they would run into one another again. “Need to stop bleeding,” Kiv muttered quietly, looking down at the puncture wounds. He had never dealt with puncture wounds before. But, first thing’s first. Stop bleeding. Extricating the cobweb sticks from his pile of medicinal supplies, Kiv carefully divided them up so that each wound was fully covered. He then retrieved a few broad leaves, after making sure they were as clean as possible and nothing poisonous, and pressed each of them over top of the cobwebs to form a rough bandage. “Chiara, could you keep pressure on that one,” he asked, indicating the wound on the male’s shoulder while he began to gently apply pressure to the remaining two. Since they were in a more delicate area, Kiv wanted to make sure that he didn’t squash any organs or anything like that. “Just until the bleeding slows down, then I have to make sure it doesn’t get infected, keep the bleeding down.” As he spoke, it would probably not be perfectly clear whether he was speaking to himself or to the two females, but Kiv did not really care. He was just running through checklists in his mind, making sure that he followed what he was supposed to do. Once he had a clear plan in mind, he looked over at the other female that he didn’t know. “Sorry, a little distracted. My name’s Kiv, Apprentice Healer.” He gave his tail a little wag, happy to meet another member of the pack, before turning his attention back to the injured wolf on the ground in front of him. “How long since he got injured has it been?” he asked, looking from Chiara to the other female and back. Hopefully it hadn’t been too long. That would not bode well for the injured male. |

| A certain smell hit her nostrills and just a few moments later, a figure appeared in front of her curious eyes. A male wolf. He was covered with several tones of grey, with a redish brown - orange sort of color, that stretched in a thin line on his legs and also covered his ears. When he spoke, he spoke with kind words and warmth. His muzzle was a bit redish by the eyes, but down from here, it was pure white. He seemed of a friendly wolf and those warm features simply dragged her to trust him instantly. But she prefered to be cautious and lock her heart in an icy, stone prison, making her self unreachable. The new wolf already seemed to know the other female, unlike her perspective of the other wolves. Asteria was yet a stranger to these lands and she was more than happy to meet a fellow pack member.
This Kiv ... introduced him self as a healer yet to be and he seemed very interested in the painful condition of an injured brute that was now lying in the grass below. Asteria could hear his every breath squicking within his loungs as he tried to breathe. His condition was pretty bad, and it was a relief to have a presence of an experienced healer nearby. She could try, but healing and herbs surely weren't her thing and she was much more skilled in figthing than in the strange art of healing. The male seemed to acquire all the knowledge necessery and the way he was so dedicated, so focused on his work, defienetly looked like he knew what he was doing. Asteria's moon colored eyes followed the brute's precise doings with curiosity. She obsereved carefully, but it was like magic to her, so foreign, and yet understandable. As he finished the last voodo steps required to stop the bleeding of the injured brute, he turned his gaze to speak to her. Surely it was simple but it was all like magic to her and she seeemed impressed with his preformance. Asteria looked back to him and answered in kind and welcoming words. "My name is Asteria ... Warrior Asteria from now on." She slightly smiled in the thought of the new title. "I am very much new here and it's always a pleasure to meet a fellow pack member." Her gaze swipped from one wolf to another, checking the healer, the other fae and the injured brute that seemed to be a bit better. The fae that stood beside the brute was with tones of different colors, shifting from darker to lighter shades. She seemed to already be aquainted with the other two and Asteria wasn't really pleased with the feeling of a complete stranger she was among the others. Setting her mind off of the newbie problems, she gently turned her attention back to the injured male and gave him a warm smile "You ok?" A bit of blood was lost and some nasty puncture wounds, but despite the ok look on the outside, she knew there is a possibility of massive internal bleeding if his organs were to be damaged. Asteria's dark fur was pitch black but she gave a warm gaze with those silverish blue eyes.

| Things were happening fast now. First a black fae ran up to the pair and then Kiv joined the trio. Flashing the male a grin she turned her attention to Kodiak who seemed to be in more pain. Pushing back her humor from before she lay down next to him in a small attempt to comfort him. "He was attacked by a buck, he tried to save me and he got hit but I ran it off." She said quickly as Kiv examined him. At his direction she nodded and nosed the herbs until she could put pressure them. Her paws held firmly as her gaze glanced the Kiv and the other fae.
Chiara was slightly annoyed that things weren't happening faster, even though his wound didn't appear that bad to her, but what did she know. "You didn't have to do that you know, but thanks." She whispered down to him as she held the herbs down. "Kiv what else do you need?" She questioned before glancing to the new fae. "Thanks for coming to help, I'm Chiara by the way." She said quickly, flashing a smile at her. |

| Kodiak's vision had started to blur by the time Asteria and Kiv had arrived. His breathing was shallow and his heart pumped faster than normal. Along with the pain, a coldness could be felt creeping up his limbs. He was able to see the blurred outlines of the legs of Asteria and Kiv, although the brute wasn't able to tell who it was. He heard the muffled voices, but he could not make out their words, they might as well have been speaking under water.
Soon he could feel a pressure on his wounds, and a sharp protest. Kodiak tensed for a moment as the pain seared intensely, his vision blackening for a few moments with the pain. He remained tense for a few moments, until his body had had enough. Kodiak suddenly went limp, his vision blackening to nothing as he passed out. |

| Kiv kept a careful watch on the injured male as he listened to the female, Warrior Asteria, introduce herself. It was a little bit confusing that he had passed out so quickly, as he had not really lost all that much blood. Maybe he was in shock. Kiv wished that he had some chamomile, or even lavender, to help, but he didn’t so he would just have to make do. At least now he did not have to worry about the male thrashing around in pain and possibly injuring himself or someone else. “It’s nice to meet you too,” he replied to Asteria, glancing up and giving his tail a wag. “Too bad it had to be over top of a bleeding wolf,” he added.
He had never dealt with an injury like this, before, but he doubted that moving the male and carrying him all the way to Creek’s den would help him more than what Kiv already knew to do. When Chiara asked if he needed anything, Kiv looked over at his little pile of herbs. “If you could find any Burdock leaves and bring them back here, I would appreciate that. They’ve got big, triangular leaves and spiky, purple flowers. I only need the leaves,” he said, including the description in case either Chiara or Asteria, whichever went after the herbs, did not know what Burdock leaves looked like. He then turned his attention back to the wounded wolf. “Have you stopped bleeding yet?” he muttered, carefully lifting one of the leaves and peering under it. While the bleeding had not completely stopped, it had significantly slowed down and, since using the cobwebs increased chances of an infection, Kiv wanted to get them off as soon as possible.
Being very careful not to undo any clotting that had already been done, Kiv peeled the leaves and cobwebs off of the male’s wounds. Once that was taken care of, he picked out the Marigold and Dock plants from his pile and carefully chewed up the leaves before mixing them together using a nearby rock and carefully applying the mash to the male’s wounds. “Dock’s not meant for that, but it’ll have to do until she comes back,” he said quietly as he inspected his work. He did not realize it, quite yet, but Kiv was developing quite the habit of talking to himself, especially while working. After he was satisfied with his work up until now, he plopped back on his haunches and looked up at the females. “I think we should wait just a little while before we try to move him to Creek’s den, just so his body has a chance to recover.”

| A soft smile stretched on Asteria's lips, as she was pleased to meet the bunch, even if it was by this sad event. "It's a pleasure to meet you both." She could see the male's eyelids slowly closing, and how his gaze was fading away into a world of darkness, a subcontious of his mind. Only now, his breath calmed to a slower beat and after all the quick events, everything seemed to slow down a bit and she could finally get a more detailed look at the trio. Chiara's pelt held multiple colores of black and brown, with different tones of grey, detailing her coat. Kiv however, was of a lighter color, a lifefull pelt with browns, redish browns, greys and groups of white. His bright colors mixed to a unic coat with a redish brown that, among his legs, also covered the top of his muzzle. The injured brute had a stunning coat of whites, and all different tones of brown. Both sides of his muzzle and both cheeks, were covered with a pure white.
The male passed out soon after that, which caused a series of Kiv's mumbling. Kiv was shown with great skill and as an experienced healer. Putting cobwebs to male's exposed wounds, he uttered a need for a plant that would help him heal his patient. Due to his detailed description it would be easy to locate them. She was glad to help in anyway possible. "I'll go and get them." She nodded with her head and set of to find the requested plant. Surely, she would return shortly. Asteria kept her pace slower, so she'd make sure not to miss them. With a carefull step, she trotted through the woods, with her nose just above the ground and all of her senses sharpened. It didn't take long before her silverish blue eyes gazed upon a plant that matched Kiv's descriotion perfectly. She pulled the lieves off, just as he requested, and waltzed back towards the scene of the accident. She picked a few more on the way back, just to ensure the right quantity. Just a few moments later, her black figure approached in the shadows and her black pelt melted her with the darkness, perfectly. With a proper amount of lieves in her mouth, she approached the area. |

| Chiara was about to go get the leaves when the dark fae ran off before her. In the back of her mind she was relieved for would much rather stay with Kodiak. He was unconscious by this point, so she positioned herself laying on the ground next to him, yet out of the way of Kiv. Chiara nudged him softly in a silent attempt to wake him, but failed to do so. With pleading eyes she looked up at Kiv, "Is there anything else you can do?" Worried for her friend the fae continued to stay by him in a small effort to comfort him as he lay there.

| Darkness surrounded Kodiak, engulfed him and closed in from all sides. He suddenly didn't remember what had happened before he passed out, only that now there was only darkness. As Kodiak walked through the darkness, searching for something, anything he found a point of light off in the distance in the dark void. Seeking contrast from the inky blackness he ran towards it, there seemed to be nothing else around but the light. He did not grow tired as he ran towards it though, and when he reached it everything suddenly changed again.
Now he was in a small den alone, the dim dwelling cozy and warm. On the ground of the den was a shallow layer of pine needles, the scent permeated throughout the den, and the needles rustled and cracked as Kodiak moved to get up. Suddenly curious, he got up and ran out of the den, emerging into a snowy land, but now he was not in the forest the den had been located in. As he turned around, he saw the hole was gone, replaced by the permafrost that made up the tundra.
Kodiak did not seem to have direct control of these happenings although, he seemed to only be living vicariously through himself. He started to trot forward through the tundra, a few moments later a harsh blizzard rolled in over the flat plains. The wolf had to lower his head, pinning his ears to his skull and lower himself to avoid being blown away, and he seemed to go on like this forever, the storm relentless.
Then, he suddenly found himself teetering on the edge of a cliff, the bare rocks hundreds of feet below staring hard back at him. Kodiak yelped, trying to regain his balance before he fell, but it was too late. As he fell, the air rushing by him, he was helpless. The wolf tumbling through the air at a dizzying speed. Just as the thought that he was about to hit the ground registered it suddenly ended.
Kodiak's eyes flew open then, his muscles tensing for just an instant. The wolf did not remember what had happened previously in that moment, the panic and adrenaline that kicked in along with his instincts causing him to suddenly thrash his legs out, he could feel himself kick something hard. A few moments later he moved to get up. |

| “Thank you very much,” Kiv replied to Asteria, nodding his head in gratitude as she volunteered and subsequently ran off to try to find the Burdock. He then turned his gaze back to the male on the ground, racking his brain for anything else that would help him until the Burdock got back. He would like for the male to actually be awake and aware of what was going on, as he would be less likely to hurt himself that way. But he didn’t have anything in his little stack of herbs that would help with that. As his mind began spinning along paths that would hopefully lead him to the right herb that was nearby, though, Chiara asked if there was anything else that he could do. Kiv wanted to say yes, honestly, but right now, everything that could be done, had been. Until Asteria got back with the Burdock, there was nothing else that Kiv could do for the wounded male.
“Not until Asteria comes back,” he answered, completely unhappy and unsatisfied with his own answer. “But, he might start to come back awake soon, and if he does, I need you to hold down his front half so he doesn’t twist around and open his wounds again. Just…kind of…lay on him, if you need to,” he said. Almost as if on cue, the male began to stir, a sure sign of coming back around to consciousness. “Ah, now, Chiara. Hold him still until he remembers what’s going on,” Kiv said, moving to carefully put weight on the male’s hind quarters. As Kiv was crouching down, though, the male’s legs jerked spasmodically and his paw landed quite squarely, and none too gently, across Kiv’s muzzle. Vision slightly blurred from the sudden and unexpected impact, Kiv did his best to capture the errant paw and hold both legs still. “Tell him it’s okay and to lay still. He’ll be alright if he stops kicking.” Kiv hoped that Chiara’s voice would be familiar enough to the male that he would hear it and heed it in his confused state. Until then, though, he just had to hold on and keep the male as still as he could.
Fortunately, Asteria arrived just then with a mouthful of Burdock. Kiv looked up at her and wagged his tail, happy to see that she had brought back the correct herb, and plenty of it. When he opened his mouth to speak, though, he detected the coppery taste of blood in his mouth. Apparently, he had gotten kicked a bit harder than he thought. Crossing his eyes to peer at his muzzle, Kiv saw a scratch across his nose. It didn’t hurt too badly, so was probably completely superficial, just bleeding a fair bit. “Good, good. That’ll be plenty of Burdock. Thank you, Warrior Asteria. If you could just—” he grunted slightly as the wounded male tried to kick again, but managed to keep both legs mostly still, “hold on for one second, we’ll be good.”

| Gently, her onix nose pushed the Burdock lieves to Kiv. It seemed she picked the correct herb and the right amount of it too. She really didn't mind and it was trully a pleasure to help in anyway possible. The male was alreadg waking up from his unexpected falling out. In a poor atempt to rise, his dark fured leg kicked back and smacked Kiv right on the muzzle. A hard kick it was and even little drops of blood drizzled from Kiv's mouth. The male was trully strong, which could be easily seen. To help Chiara she layed down and pressed her body weight onto him, in atempt to hold him still untill Kiv is finished with his work. As easy as it sounds, holding this brute down was a harder job to do and Asteria kept her head far away from any unexpected kicks. Her silverish bright blue eyes gave a warm gaze to the awakend male and a soft gentle smile greeted him in a warm welcome. Her head turned back to the healer and her voice was sweet and yet strong as she was in character. "Is there anything else you need, Kiv?" |

| Listening to Kiv the dark fae nodded and helped hold down the now struggling male. "Relax Kodiak its just me Chiara, please calm down." She said softly in his ear with urgency in her voice. Pressing her paws into his upper body she grew more restless as her words did little to calm him. Bending down now she smooshed her cheek into his, perhaps this would work? "Please calm down, everything will be alright now, please." She continued, squishing her face into his and talking to him. Turning back to Kiv her eyes held the previous pleading look, "Can't you give him something to calm him down?" She barked, growing more concerned. Not able to think of much more to do Chiara pressed her face harder into his and squinted her eyes shut as he continued to struggle under her.

| The wolves holding him down only caused him to grow even more panicked, and he struggled more. Their weight felt suffocating to him, as if he was being crushed under a giant rock. The still irritated wounds now screeched in protest from the pressure as well. Even in his weakened state the male was able to put up quite a fight.
He was quite disoriented at the moment, having just woken up he still did not remember what had happened. It was then however he heard a familiar voice, but the words were muddied as if spoken underwater, he did not understand. When he felt the warm fur on his cheek and the familiar scent of Chiara filled his nose however, the male seemed to calm then. His struggling slowing until he just lied there again, panting heavily now, the slight wheeze still could be heard in his breath as he coughed once more , a hacking cough that expelled more blood from his muzzle. |
