| After finally doing what he had come to say, Spirit had no clue on what to do next. He didn't know this new area so he decided to explore a bit. In his mind, he imagined himself being the warrior in a shining fur coat, rescuing his beloved princess. He ran here and there, watching the trees that soared above him and the flowers that grew next to his powerful paws. Realizing what he had been doing, he laughed at himself and whispered, "I guess I am still a pup in a couple ways." He started to walk towards a bush when suddenly, he stopped all of his movements. Spirit perked his ears up high and listened intently. Being careful not to override the sounds he was trying to pick up, he said "Who's there? Come out and face me." Grrrowl....... Was all he heard. "Coward! Come out!" Feeling weak, he noticed that wasn't another animal, it was his stomach. Grrrrrrrooowl, his stomach had argued in protest, again and again. He sighed, and began looking for a deer, squirrel, rabbit, or anything edible. When he found and ate a rabbit, he noticed the sun was a bit lower. "Uh oh..." How do i find my way back? Pondering this question, he came up with a million answers: I could follow my own scent.... I could try to remember the plants I passed.... I could howl and wait for an experienced wolf.... I could.... After this ABC questionnaire, he decided to follow his own scent back. He ended up in the place where he first started to fantasize. By then, he couldn't smell himself anymore, for he was downwind. Now, he just sat and waited. "Maybe Azul or Creek will come... No one else knows my sent or knows that I am even here." He said to himself. |

| (( In a rush. Sorry it's short!))
The little fae bounded through the dark woods like there was no danger. She leaped over fallen logs with the grace of a fox, her fluffy tail making her look more like a fox than a wolf. Laughing, Nyx darted in between trees. Her eyes were of two different colors, one was blue while the other was amber. She was an apprentice with a small build, making her look almost dainty. Her training as a Warrior only just started, but that wouldn't stop her from running free when she was away from her mentor. Taking note that the sky was slowly growing dark, Nyx planned to dart back to the camp and her den. As she was turning around, the scent of another caught her attention. Lowering her head to the ground, she followed the trail until she caught sight of the wolf. Her small, snowy ears flicked forward as she quietly padded out from behind the trees. "Hello. Are you okay?" Nyx noticed that the wolf seemed rather confused, but she could smell the scent of the pack on him. If he needed help, she would help him. As Nyx sat down, her fox-ike head tilted to the side in curiosity. Smiling at him, she waited for him to speak. |

| OOC- Now I'm sorry, it's short, I know.
Spirit perked his ears towards the sounds of breaking twigs and found but a small white wolf. He turned his head, unable to answer, for he was afraid his pride would diminish if he obtained help from a female. "No," he simply replied, "I was just..." Spirit quickly looked around and sped out his words from his maw. "I was just watching the scenery." He lied. Nervously laughing, he said, "I'm not lost, why'd you think that?" Leaving the small wolf, Spirit stood and walked in a direction he thought led to the pack. A couple minutes of searching, he came back, with his head bowed. He dared not look up at the fae for he had turned a bright shade of pink. How unmanly... He thought. A single sigh escaped his lips as he slugged towards the female. "Yea.... I'm lost...." Disgraced, he pulled his tail in close and folded down his ears. The male lowered his head more towards the ground, waiting for a mocking laugh or even a sarcastic reply, to only deepen his embarrassment. |

| The small, ivory fae listened to the male's words with a smile on her face. She could tell he was lying by the way he refused to look at her. "It would be kind of hard to see the scenery when it is getting dark out. That, and if you are heading to the clearing you are going the opposite way. That way will take you out of pack lands." She gave him a friendly smile, understanding. When she first got to the pack, she would have gotten lost if not for the pack scent and her sister giving her directions. Nyx sat as he walked away from her, knowing that he was lost and would come back. Sighing, she laid down with her chin on her front paws. The sound of his paws coming back made her look up at him, giving a friendly smile as he admitted he was lost. Looking up at him from her laid down position, she spoke. "It's okay, a lot of wolves get lost. I can show you the way to the clearing if you'd like."
She looked up at him with her different colored eyes. Her left one was blue, the other amber. Nyx took in his embarrassed appearance, feeling sorry for him. Standing up, she smiled kindly at him. "Hey, it's okay. I'm guessing that you're a new member, but everyone has made a mistake sometime. Admitting it just shows how courageous you are." |

| Raising his head, Spirit replied in confusion, "The clearing?" The male cocked his head slightly. "What's 'the clearing'?" Obviously he wasn't told of every area the members could travel into. "Is that like a meadow where the pups play?" He felt so very clueless, and he despised it. Spirit wished to just be alone in a warm den, not lost and embarrassed. He looked to her for answers, the unnamed wolf.
He glanced down again after hearing her words. "Yea.... I'm new." Spirit laughed. "Mistakes. Admittance. You remind me of someone I used to know a long time ago. I never got to know her very well though." Meeting the fae's eyes, he finally noticed the color. "Amber, the color of warmth, honey. Blue, the color of beauty, the ocean." He whispered. Coming back to his mind, Spirit realized he was staring at her. "S-sorry." He stammered. The male looked away, then spoke once more. "Where are my manners? I've not asked of your name yet." He looked up, grinning. "Mine is Spirit, Warrior Spirit. What is yours?" |

| Nyx shook her head, giving him a friendly smile. "No, it is the place where the pack members make a den. It is the main place where everyone goes. That is, everyone except me. I sleep in my den or wherever. I'll sleep on the forest floor, it doesn't really matter." She could tell her was new, and his words confirmed it. Though it did make her wonder what kind of background he had if he didn't know what the camp was. Maybe his old pack had different customs, or maybe he didn't have an old pack at all. The apprentice couldn't help but wonder. Nyx was trying her best to comfort him and she wouldn't laugh at him. It didn't seem like it was working, though.
With his words she tilted her head to the side. Her eyes had never been described as such before and Nyx didn't know what to say back. Shaking out her pelt, she looked away for a moment. "There is no need for apologies at all. I have to say it would be the first time that I reminded another of someone as well as the first time my eyes have been described as you had. I am Nyx, Apprentice Nyx. It is nice to meet you, Spirit." She waited quietly for at least a mocking comment because she knew full well that her name was the opposite of herself. She let out a yawn but wasn't in the least bit tired. Titling her head back oddly, she gazed at the piece of sunlight fading. Nyx had the urge to run over to where it was so she could watch the sun set into the ground. She tilted her head back down to look at Spirit, waiting for his words. |

| Realizing that he was dreadfully off, he blushed a slight shade of pink. "Oh, a meeting place and a den area." Spirit laughed at himself. "Thanks for correcting me. I would hate to be asked of the clearing and make a complete fool of myself." He sat, setting his rump in the dirt. "Don't worry," he chuckled, "you can laugh if you wish. I've no grudge against laughing." His gray eyes blended with the ever darkening forest, watching the fae's body to see a difference. What does she think of me? This strange wolf. Has she spoken with Creek? Does she wish to hurt me? He tensed and quickened his heart beat. Thu thump...thu thu thump...thu thu thump...thu thump.
Noticing that she was stumped from his description, he stayed silent to hear her next words. All he could hear was his loud, uncontrollable heart beat. It was getting faster for he was afraid she could hear it as well. Instead, the female's reply was not something he had expected. No need for apologies? Why would there be no need? His confusion subsided after he was told of her name. The male looked down and repeated. "Nyx..." He mumbled, not for her to hear, but just to let it tumble from his maw. He looked back up to the apprentice. "Beautiful, I've never heard of such a name in all of my travels." Spirit did not wish for her to feel uncomfortable, so he closed his eyes and continued with his words. "In this world," he spoke, "beautiful, graceful things are getting harder to come by. These things are becoming tainted with rage and malice. Even some with the heart of an angel can be turned." The brute opened his eyes and turned his attention back to the onlooking female. He turned his head to find what she had been staring at. Smiling, he motioned at her to follow him. He sat next to the dimming ray of sunlight, waiting for her to sit beside him. |

| Giving him a kind smile, she nodded. “Yes, Spirit. Did your old pack not have one of those? Not all packs do, but mine did so I guess I was lucky in knowing what I was doing. Well, that and my sister explained everything to me. You’re welcome, I wouldn’t like to see a wolf like you become humiliated.” Nyx shook her head about his comment of laughing and just softly chuckled. His polite manner was amusing to her, having only met her mentor, Beta Steele. He was the only male she had met and his mannerisms were far from how Spirit was acting now. Nyx couldn’t help but find is amusing, and she continued to chuckle until she began laughing, wanting to feel the joy at meeting another wolf. Regaining her composure, she looked at him. “Forgive me, I wasn’t laughing at you. I found it kind of funny how completely opposite you are from the only other male I’ve met here so far. I am an Apprentice and laughing at a warrior would be disrespectful. At least, I think it would.” The fae tilted her head and looked up like the air would tell her the answer.
Nyx was dragged out of her questioning thoughts at his words, flicking her ears forward to listen. She stood quickly, feeling fidgety with what he had said and another laugh left her. “The name has to do with the Goddess of the night. My parents were quite humorous, so they named their lightest pup after something dark. Lots of others find it amusing. It’s just some joke. Though, Spirit, I am still learning the ways of how to hunt, fight, and be a warrior. I do not know who I will be when I am done with my training or what I will act like. I’ll take it all in stride though, I’ll never know until I get there. It is agreed that most beautiful things are lost, but sometimes the beautiful things become lost trying to protect themselves.” At his gesture to follow her, she walked happily towards the fading beam of light. She sat next to him, the golden light taking effect on her fur. |

| He turned his head away, not letting her see him frown. "No." Spirit tried to keep his voice kind, but hints of sadness slid through. "We didn't have a clearing." Wiping his face of all distress, he turned back to her with bright eyes. "I'm certainly glad that you and your sister knew what it was, or else it could have been harder for me to understand." He laughed at her remark and responded with hints of sarcasm. "Of course you wouldn't. It definitely wouldn't be hilarious to watch." He turned his head to watch her chuckle. Once she was laughing, he couldn't help but do it with her. Spirit almost lost his balance from laughing with her so very hard. However, as a couple minutes went by, he hadn't realized he was the only one laughing. The male flicked his ears, and thought about what she said. "You mean..." The brute began. He looked at her, saw her looking up and took the opportunity to be a clown. Spirit rolled onto his back, inverting his ears, and looked up at her looking up, curling his tail towards the dimming sky. "You couldn't NOT laugh at this little face." He showed the worst puppy eyes he could, eyes bulging, tongue on his cheek. "I love being laughed at, when I'm trying I mean." He replied.
Thinking for a moment, the male replied to her thoughts of "darkness." "Nyx," he began, "who says that the Goddess of the night is dark? What if they were naming you for what they thought you would love, the moon. The moon after all, is of the night and could be described as the goddess." Spirit smiled and simply said, "Nyx, your parents have named you of the moon. A beautiful name, for a beautiful wolf." He thought a moment longer. "At least, that is how I see it." Spirit shook his browned fur, letting the darker patches catch the orange rays. He slightly frowned at her comment of becoming lost. "Yes, it's true. Though even so, you mustn't give in to the insanity, the darkness. You mustn't loose yourself Nyx." He looked down, not letting her see his pain. Spirit found that he couldn't strain this enough, for he had lost his father to this such insanity, he knows what it is like. If the male could help her, he wouldn't give up, not in the least. As the two went towards the light, he raised his eyes ever so slightly, to see her white fur turn gold at the colors of the sunset. Realizing how long they had been out, he laughed and whispered. "You can find the way back to the pack in the dark, correct?" He watched her, to see her either flinch or stand strong and brave.

| Nyx nodded, hearing that her suspicions were true. She caught his look a distress, and the apprentice silently scolded for asking about something so personal. There was no telling what his past could have been like, and asking now seemed rude to her. Note to self: Do not ask personal questions. She had been learning how to be a warrior from her mentor, but learning how to act around others was all on her own. Nyx was taken aback with how strongly he laughed, and she took a deep breath and kept her eyes on the sky. When he had quieted down and was speaking, Nyx turned her head to look at him and her eyes widened at what she saw. In her old pack she was one to explore by herself, and his behavior made her unsure if it was normal or not. Tilting her head from side to side, and spoke in a surprised voice. “I don’t think I’ve ever met a wolf as playful as you.” Keeping her eyes on his face, Nyx laughed some more. He was very funny, and somewhat odd like her. Though, her oddity wasn’t as comical.
When he spoke of her name, she couldn’t understand how she hadn’t thought of it herself. Nyx grinned as she spoke. “I really didn’t think of it that way, Spirit. I always believed it to be some comical joke because my parents had a ridiculous sense of humor. When I think about it, I do love the moon. I enjoy being out at night while everyone else is sleeping in their dens. As for me losing myself, I don’t think I could possibly do that. There is no way I would give up a thirst for adventure to insanity. It just would feel right.” She gave him a goofy smile. “Do you see any darkness staining my pelt, if there were it would surely be obvious! I can find my way back in the dark, and if you want I will show you. Though, I might just have to return after escorting you to watch the forest fall asleep.” Her last words were a whisper, though she didn’t know why they were whispering. Nyx’s eyes were reluctant to leave to scene of the sunset fading, but her duties came before anything else. She stood and shook out her pelt, waiting to see what he wanted her to do. |

| ((Sorry, this will be kinda short))
Spirit raised his dirt-covered brow and wiggled it up at her. "Why thank you Madam, and I don't think I've ever met a wolf as wonderfully odd as you." The male stood and bowed down to her, glancing up just barely. Listening to her happiness, he stood and pushed out his chest, acting like he was strong. He spoke in a guttural tone, one he had heard the elders in his former pack use. "Oh, but of course my lady. I happen to think of things almost no wolf does." Spirit went back to his normal stance, almost loosing his balance once more. He laughed, and wondered if she knew of his pack, of his father or mother, or of anything he had done. At the word of darkness, he focused back into the conversation. "Darkness?" The brute looked around her. "Nope, I see none. Just a pure wolf with beautiful, untainted eyes." He grinned at her. "That would be fabulous my lady. I am at a paws length if you ever need my assistance at all." He sat, watching her. Wait, he thought, where do I sleep? I've no den, crud... He never mentioned his thoughts of this though, he couldn't.

| After a period of laughing, Nyx played along with him. "I give thanks to you, kind sir. You are oh so clever, thinking as you do. It will be an honor to escort a male as courteous as yourself to the heart of the pack." Her voice had an arrogant tone to it, pretending as if they were both high in royalty and snooty about it. Nyx curled her tail and stood up straight, high-stepping around in a circle. She took one misstep and nearly toppled over. Before her chin could hit the ground, the fae caught her balance. She let out a yip, startled at how she had almost fell. At his mention of not seeing any darkness, she looked at him. "You don't have an appalling appearance yourself, and I am glad I came upon you. It was one of the highlights of my adventures. My eyes are just something I was born with, Spirit. You get used to them over time." Nyx stood up and bowed, stretching. "Well, then we shall go to the clearing. If you haven't been there before, then it is apparent thst you do not have a den. You can make one. There is still enough light out. I would offer you mine, but I think I'll be using it tonight for once." She shook out her pelt a few times, feeling like there was some leftover grass stuck in it from her previous adventures.

| ((I am terribly sorry that I had taken so long to reply.))
Hearing her comment of his cleverness, he replied cheerfully. "Oh why thank you, highness." He grinned. "Without you, I'm afraid I wouldn't make it back in time for supper." His eyes watched her circle around him, still laughing. His laughter stopped when she took a fall. He dashed to catch her, but a foot from her, he realized she caught herself. The male jumped over her, not wishing to crash into her seemingly delicate form. "My my, I almost ran into you Nyx." Spirit chuckled. He trotted back to her, checking to see if she was alright. A highlight of her night? He repeated in his mind. Spirit's stomach fluttered. He nearly jumped five feet for it was a surprise to a male like himself. He had never felt such a thing as this, not in all his life. Spirit looked to her orbs of blue and orange. "Well your eyes," he commented, "are so very beautiful, especially with the moonlight upon them." Widening his gray eyes, he looked down, blushing. Thinking to himself, he thought, I didn't mean to actually say that! Just be cool about it. He sighed just barely and looked back up. Just be cool.. He thought once more. Nodding, he replied. "Quite right you are miss. I've no den, nor have I been there, as you already know." He started walking towards the direction he remembered her coming from to only look back and see that she wasn't following. "Nyx." He whispered. "Ready?" |

| "You still might not be back in time for supper, but we can heist something from the food pile for you. Sorry, I can be clumsy sometimes." Nyx patted the ground gently with her paw before looking back into the sky. It wasn't yet under the full cover of night, more like a royal blue that would slowly change to become the bluish black cover in the sky. The fae blinked before looking back to Spirit and his comment on her eyes. "Thank you, I appreciate the compliment. It is alright, I can even help you make your own den so that it won't take you as long and you can get a good nights sleep." The fae stood and began walking in the direction of that camp. She had it down by memory, there wasn't a need to smell along the ground. Nyx could smell it in the wind and even on the trees around them. Eventually he would know it so well too. |
