Sunlight was something most creatures and plants could look forward to, for energy, warmth and generally light. However, when the autumn began to overtake the lands the sunlight became more of a presence and no longer provided the warm heat the cinnamon and black colored fae knew so well. The warmth had been leeched from her thick fur when the cold dewy morning finally reached her in her make shift den. The den was something she was not proud of but it was temporary, since night had fallen before she reached the area she had desired. Now that the early morning chill had awoken her, her travels began once again. Shaking out her soft fur, small droplets of dew flinging off of her and onto the browning grass around her. Breathing out, a creamy white cloud of her warm breath rose above her before dissipating in the cold sunlight. Walking through the forest, her dark brown auds flicked as she brushed through the grass her fur clinging to the tips of the wet grass. The forest she had entered was still vividly colored with orange, yellow and red leaves. Either in large piles near the base of trunks, or among the tree tops. Fall was still clinging to the trees and air, even though winter was just around the corner.

The air was crisp even as the morning receded and the afternoon began to peak through the trees. The sunlight that had only provided light was now beginning to warm up the surrounding area and her dark fur. The tips of her fur on her underbelly and side were darkened with water and small bits of grass clung to her. The area changed from tall grass to soft dirt and short grass. It had been traveled over, not often but slightly. The father she went in, the more it became clear that she was drawing close to a borderline. A peculiar scent came to her nose, drawing her close to the edge of the dirt, where it lead into taller grass. This is where the border was strong and sweet smelling. It is either new, or patrolled very very often... She thought to herself, taking a few steps back glancing up at the trees before into the territory, her honey colored eyes narrowing. This was the scent she had caught onto a few days before and followed. She had taken her time traveling, and was now finally upon the territory that she had hoped to find. This was her chance for redemption. Breathing in, she sighed softly looking down at her paws. Her stubbornness had drove her, and she sure as hell wasn't going to leave. Lifting her muzzle up to the sky, she took in a breath and let out a howl. It had been a while since she had actually let loose a howl..it was nice. She finished only after a few moments, knowing the wolves in the territory would hear. She waited, sitting on her haunches, her honey colored eyes wandering over the territory. Redemption. She thought once more, relaxing her body.

Morning finally came and Chiara stretched herself awake. Three days had passed since the pack was now her's and Magnus's and she couldn't be happier. The trio had dug one den the first night and shared it against the cold, but soon she knew Malachai would make his own den and leave his leaders be. Awaking to a sleeping Magnus she smiled and slipped outside. Malachai was gone too, hopefully hunting or patrolling, the latter she was on her way to do. The pack needed members and she knew the large influx her pack would be getting soon, so she had to make a good impression. Sprinting out she started to make her way to the northern border, letting her scent paint the land. The morning air was crisp and the trees around her had started to change to reds and golds, such a beauty this place was.

After an hour of walking Chiara heard a howl on the wind, close by as well. Trotting forward she came to the border to find a fae sitting by the edge. "Greetings fae. This is Pyrvanthros and I am the Alphess Chiara, how can I help you?" She questioned, padding closer to the fae to look her over. Her voice was not harsh, blunt nor too frilly. It was curious, seeking out her purpose. Nothing more and nothing less.

It was not long before her call was answered, in reality it was quite quick. The surprise that had made Amatis blink, was already gone by the time the small dusty brown female came into view. Tilting her head slightly, Amatis looked over the lightly colored wolf with some interest. She had never seen a color such as hers before, it was quite a change from the normal brown, black and white she often caught sight of. A nice change of scenery eh? She thought to herself, as she shifted on her paws giving a nod of respect to the fae, when she presented herself as Alphess. "Greetings Alphess Chiara." She spoke, her voice firm but had a slight chime to it, almost as if there was some excitement hidden deep in her honey colored eyes. When Chiara asked how she could help, it made her almost want to laugh but she remained silent thinking of an answer that wouldn't be to...insane sounding. "I have been traveling for quite some time, and it has come to my understanding that, despite leaving my old home I need a pack to function as a normal wolf." She spoke, her eyes sliding over the other female, making sure to memorize her scent.

Her scent was almost like a dusty rose, sweet yet woodsy, with the smell of this pack strong on her. She figured it was a newly formed pack, at least by the way she could sense the indifferent excitement in Chiara. "In my old home, I was trained as a Warrior, one to be put in the front lines. I have only seen one large battle in my life, and it was one that we were victorious at." she pause for a few moments, hoping that she was not skipping the fae's judgement by explaining her skills. "I guess, I have come upon these lands to ask for acceptance into your pack, to become a pack member once more." There it was, out in the open. Why she had come, why she had pushed herself to get close to the border. She needed a home, or else she would go insane with loneliness. While being a loner had its up and downs, there was something about how a pack functioned that she missed. It was something she had grown up with, and when it was torn away from her by her siblings and mother, she lost a feeling for it. Leaving the pack did not tear her to pieces, it had been her family. Blinking her soft amber colored eyes, she looked back to Chiara, having been lost in thought for a few moments. She waited to see what Chiara would say, hoping her impression was not faulty. She wanted to be seen as strong, not the 'jump the gun' type.

Chiara listened and frowned slightly that the fae not only forgot to mention her name, but also show at least some submission. Narrowing her eyes Chiara fought back the urge to act like she was still in Erenyx, but instead have a different view on things. "You say you wish to function as a normal wolf? You could start by stating your name and acknowledging the fact that I am Alphess in these lands." She said, her voice a tad harsher then before. She then continued to listen as the potential member spoke. Chiara wouldn't write her off just yet, for perhaps in the excitement of joining her pack the nameless fae just forgot simple manners.

"Being a warrior is a commendable position. My pack is small, but could benefit from someone with your background. Until we have more members, however, we will have to pull our own. Can you commit yourself to the pack and myself and Magnus as the alphas? Can you pledge yourself as a member with your life if needed?"
She questioned, staring at the fae for a moment.

"My apologies alphess." she said, having heard the harsh tone in her voice. She quietly flicked her dark black and brown tail in thought for a few moments. "My name is Amatis." She said finally, deciding it was best not to apologize twice in a row. While in the midst of explaining she had forgotten to speak her name, but often she hardly could remember her name. Though she often heard it called upon the wind, most loners just called her a passer-by. She flicked her ears down, lowering her head a bit in submission towards Chiara.

She was nothing more than drifting leaves in the wind, at least that was until she came here. Flicking her ears she listened to Chiara, nodding her head slightly along with her words. "I can commit myself, towards you Alphess and your mate. I will pledge my life and as a member in your pack." She said, nodding her head once more thinking of the words as she spoke them. "I will give my loyalty to you and any other high rank, as long as they remain loyal under your guide Alphess." She added on, before sitting silently wondering how she would respond.

(Short but, it gets it done XD)

Chiara softened and dipped her head slightly to signal that Amatis could relax. All she had wanted was for her to show respect to her, and by doing that trust was formed. Smiling at her she cleared her throat and spoke. "I started out as a warrior in my previous packs. Though it is a small rank it is one that holds much honor and responsibility. Please seek me out for training or if you have any questions, I am always available. Now please return with me to the pack lands and we can see your new home together." She said turning to walk back towards the clearing. "Welcome home Warrior Amatis."

ooc-Please change your name, name claim/ranks thingy......you know the drill
