| Green. That was all she could say to describe her surroundings. From the grass beneath her paws to the tops of the trees, everything was green. And it was beautiful. The water reflected the oak trees perfectly and she was sure that if she stared down upon it, she would see herself just as well. Approaching the edge of the stream, she looked down and tilted her head to see a pretty fae looking back. Blinking, she marvelled at the image, having never actually seen herself before. Was she this pretty? Surely not. Her eyes were green too! Smiling and watching as her reflection copied her action, she felt content at seeing what she looked like and pulled away from her own image. She wasn't a vain wolf, she would not preen at her own beauty. She now knew what she looked like and she was happy. Leaning down, she took a gulp of water, relishing at how it quenched the dryness in her throat. She had heard of snapping turtles and less beautiful things living around the stream and in hopes of avoiding them, she took solace underneath the shade of a particularly large oak tree.
Her thoughts wandered as the silence allowed a peaceful atmosphere to waver around her. A handsome pair of blue eyes entered her mindscape and she blushed at the image, recognising it. Altair had been one of the first wolves she had acquainted herself with when she had joined Agavos. She hoped that it would be safe to consider him her friend and that he would do the same. After all, they had gone around for any entire day, looking at dens. 'Like a couple.' At that input, she shook her head furiously, laughing a bit, flustered at having such thoughts. 'Definitely not, Sieglinde. You've only just met the man, you can't just fall in love now.' Oh, but she could. The heart was a fickle thing, liable to change at any second regardless of whether or not the mind was ready. However, the dark fae shook her head once more, deciding completely that she hadn't fallen in love. It was just affection given as a friend. After all, Alpha Desmond was quite attractive too; Altair wasn't the only one she was fond of.
Leaning against the oak trunk, she let out a small sigh of contentment. This was the life. She was free and there was no one around to pin her down. Agavos was the correct choice and there was no chance that anything would be able to make her leave. |

| Walking through familiar territories, Altair often found himself drawn towards Pangae's Gulley, a place he found pleasant. This was the first place he had wandered to when being accepted into Agavos when summer was around. It was where he had met the stubborn apprentice named Striker. An interesting conversation that had been. Shaking his head, Altair moved his way through the trees lifting his head up glancing at the green scenery around him. Some of the tips of the leaves on the other trees were turning but for the most part this area had retained it's green tint. He had a feeling it was because most of the trees seemed to be pine trees, they often never turned color. Walking through the oddly placed trees, the chilly breeze ruffled his fur as a scent curled around him. He tilted his head recognizing the scent. Sieglinde? He thought as he trotted forward, seeing her finally come into shape. He noticed her looking down into the water, before taking a drink and then backing away before resting against on the larger oak trees. Coming up on Sieglinde he moved around so she could see him and spoke. "Good afternoon Sieglinde. How are you?" He asked, a smile on his lips as he took a seat. The sun was shining on his back, giving the dark furred wolf a warmth. His light blue eyes shimmering on the fae as he felt more relaxed with her around. |

| The smooth tone of Altair reached her ears, slicing through the silence that she had sat in. Turning to face her companion, she offered a warm smile, happy to have his presence near her. Replying with a soft and articulate tone, she said, "Good day to you too, Altair. I am very well, thank you. Hasn't been much to do lately, though. How about you?" She gave a look over his person and her smile widened approvingly. Indeed, his most striking feature were his blue blue eyes, but she was drawn to the rest of him as well. A nagging voice at the back of her head uttered something intelligible and she shoved it away calmly, keeping her ugly thoughts away from her consciousness. Those sort of opinions were to be kept hidden away for they were far too embarrassing to even exist. How awkward!
Clearing away her mortification with a few slow blinks, she smoothed her expression to a gracious one, keeping her cool façade. It wasn't of her nature to lose her nerve and she was determined to keep it that way. As she waited for the male to reply, she thought to just how honoured she was to have him as a friend and was delighted that he thought her to be worthy as well. Shuffling over, she beckoned for him to take a seat beside her. "The day is young. Come, sit with me and enjoy the view." Curling her tail around herself, she maintained her pleasant smile. Having a friend to enjoy such lovely weather and such beautiful scenery was a joy, indeed. |

| He was glad to see a happy response, rather a one of anger. Lately he had been angering many wolves, it seemed to be a pattern. Although, he wasn't worried as of now. He enjoyed his time with Sieglinde, and she was nice to him. She seemed to be a sweet and caring wolf, which he often didn't find in this life. He was happy to call her a friend, which he often found doing. When she greeted him, he felt his tail wag, a small bit. He was glad to hear she was well. "I am glad you are well Sieglinde. I know there hasn't been much, but many of us are just preparing for winter. I have been doing some-what well. I haven't been the most popular with a few wolves but that hasn't stopped me from trying to be friendly." He chuckled softly, noticing her staring at him. He didn't feel uncomfortable however, it was quite nice. He had smiled to her once more, feeling more relaxed than he had been for quite some time. "Things have been quite slow, but the seasons are changing quickly. I don't think anyone is quite prepared for the winter, and I am hoping it will not be to harsh upon us." He commented staring up at the blue sky, but noticed clouds off in the distance. While it was warm in this area, there was still a chill and with the breeze it made it him shiver.
When she asked for him to sit next to her, he didn't see why not. He wandered over, before tucking himself in next to her and relaxing. His fur brushed against hers, and as he glanced at her he noticed her beauty. He often noticed the beauty in all wolves, but each wolf was unique. He enjoyed the light mint color of Sieglinde's eyes as well her coat color. He wouldn't call it black, but a more chocolate color with a fringe of white. "The day is still quite young. I was out and about, following an older duty I had finished. I had thought about hunting but prey has been quite scarce." He said shaking his head slightly. He didn't like this time a year as much as he did spring and summer. "I guess we will just have to push through it like all wolves do." He said quietly, flicking his tail silently as he spoke it brushing against Sieglinde. "Sorry." He said tucking his tail around himself so he wouldn't hit her again. |
