~Chassity continued to howl even though she heard another howl nearby. She even howled louder to express her feeling of being free. No more labels. No more unruly behavior. No more rebellion. No more unhealthy leadership. Peace at last. The warrior still bared the scars implanted in her two years ago, but they were beginning to be no more than marks of strength. Her dark cloud began to turn into a powerful thunderstorm that bolted her terrible dreams from to front of her mind and washed them toward the very back of her mind, where it would and should always be. Her grave past would always be apart of who she was. Though the majority of it was gruesome, something good came out of it. She learned her own values, she met the most wonderful wolf in her life, she learned how to distinguish friends to enemies and most of all, she learned how to stay strong on her own. Her life was anything but a crystal stare, but it was the root to her growth. Somehow she felt a little old. Perhaps it was the vast maturity she held in her presence. My life has just begun.

Her thoughts went away with the wind when her howl party stopped. The warrior gaze over at the over peaks and spotted Delta Tatsu. A small smile formed on her lips at the sight of the wolf she met a while back. Chassity didn't know what it was, but she felt as if they both shared a connection. Neither of them were the type to broadcast themselves or their past. Despite that, she shared each of their own piece with one another. They only just met, however. The large she wolf loped evenly out toward the wider portion of the valley. She was no longer on the peak. Her tail flicked back and forth and her paws briskly touched the ground simultaneously. The wind slapped her fur backward as she proceeded forward over to Tatsu. She lifted her head up to the skies again and howled. ~

~Chassity soon reached Delta Tatsu after she stopped howling. She took two steps forward to the she wolf and respectfully bowed. "I'm doing well actually," the warrior dipped her head. "For the first time in years, I feel like free bird, a bird set free." The wolf looked around at the valley and spotted a herd of elk in the distance. From the look of it, there were two bulls with five cows. She looked back at Tatsu without looking directly at her eyes. "How are you doing, Delta Tatsu? You look a little relaxed yourself." Though she looked away from the herd, her animal instinct was telling her to go on a chase. Shutting her eyes, her mind only focused on the high ranking wolf in front of her. Distracting herself with the herd would be seen as rude. Opening her eyes again, her piercing blue gaze steadied on Tatsu.  ~

~Chassity looked up at Tatsu in the middle of bowing. She felt her muscle tense a bit. Her blue eyes however remained the same. "We are, Tatsu. I apologize--I'm still getting used to this," she said as she stood up straight. "To be honest Tatsu, I feel like we are alike somehow. I'm glad I met you when I did." The warrior smiled warmly at the delta. That was unusual of her to smile, but the wolf in front of her was a friend--one of the few she actually had. She watched the brown wolf silently as the fae spoke of her life in their pack. Not too long ago, the warrior had spotted an addition to the pack--a captive. Surprisingly, she recognized the wolf! The smaller fae was one of the ones Chassity had spoken to along with Malachai, Eirwen, Lynx, Chiara, and Zephyr. Yuki? That's what her name was. The warrior blinked her blue oculars and quickly pushed that thought to the back of her mind. She had to put her acquaintances aside for the sake of the pack. The wolf never meant to befriend wolves from other packs anyways. Chassity slid her paws along the terrain and twitched her ears when Tatsu trailed off after speaking again. The warrior noticed that her friend was eying the elk herd like she once did. Her blue gaze narrowed as it searched through the short vegetation. It sharply went back to Tatsu when the delta spoke again. "Sharp as pine," the warrior said and she shifted her paws.  ~

~Chassity nodded her broad head after Tatsu offered her to take the lead. The warrior usually followed the quicker wolves and tended to strike at the leg of such a large animal. Taking the lead in hunter wasn't something the big fae was used to--battle, yes. Despite all of that, the she wolf accepted it and moved on. She flicked her large tail to silently tell her companion that she was heading off. "I'll flick my tail twice before I charge." With that the warrior started to walk along the lush vegetation quietly. As she got closer, she began to inhale the scents of the elk nearby searching for any signs of blood and limp movement. Her blue gaze narrowed into slits when she spotted a doe limping lightly. The large paws of the warrior scratched the ground as she prepared to charge. Chassity lowered her body to the ground, but kept her ears upward instead of flattening it. It twitched whenever she heard the clicking sound from their feet. The wolf looked to the corner of her eye to check on the delta behind. Suddenly, a horrid scent of blood caught her attention. The warrior whipped her head around to see a larger doe several tail lengths behind the herd with a nasty wound on the left leg. She paused for a moment and began to decide on which doe to take on. Chassity flattened her ears to her scull and traveled around the herd toward the slowest prey. She eyed the red-pinkish color of the wound the elk carried on its leg. The warrior made her choice. ~

~Chassity was hidden between the lone elk she was targeting and the rest of the herd. The further she forced the elk away, the worse situation the injured elk would be in. If the rest of the herd just focused on leaving her direction, they would forget their injured member rather quickly. After all, it wasn't a very young one. Her intense blue gaze went to Tatsu and she immediately noticed that the delta shared the same idea. A smirk crawled into her face. Discreetly eying the elk behind of her, she made sure it remained in its spot. She stalked a few steps closer before flicking her tail twice to signal her hunting partner. Charging toward the herd, she barked loudly and growled to the nearest hooved animal. She snapped at its leg until it alerted the others and ran toward Tatsu's direction. Seeing how quick the herd was moving already, she continued to bark and ran closer. In the corner of her eye, she spotted the injured elk making its way past her and toward its members. Shifting her weight to the side, she  abruptly spun around and sped toward it. The warrior boldly ran in front of the already injured elk in order to force it to the right instead of being in the center where the herd was. The mammal was faster than she expected despite the painful looking wound. It's determined to escape its predator and that's me. Chassity and her target was already passing the herd and heading closer to Tatsu. At the sight of the brown wolf, she decided it was time to attack. The gray wolf leaped forward and bit down at the elk's ankle. ~

~Chassity watched Tatsu as the brown wolf viciously slammed her paws at the elk's side when it reared up. Luckily, the gray wolf was well out of the doe's way. Looping around the elk, she reached the front in time to see Tatsu sink her teeth into the doe's stomach. The wolf let out a snarl when the animal turned around to kick the brown wolf with its front hooves. At the same time the animal lifted its legs, Chassity stood up on her hind legs swiped the elk viciously at its nose with her paw. The doe's head moved to the left due to the impact of the gray she wolf. Chassity then shifted right to slam her body into the elk's flank as hard as she could. The leg of the large mammal missed the brown delta by a long shot as it lost its balance and went to the side. That action exposed the doe's ugly wound on its hind leg. The gray warrior looked to Tatsu to see her next action.   ~

~Chassity leaped backward to avoid the hoof of the elk as it collapsed, but she was too slow. The end of the doe's hoof raked through her chest. She hissed in pain as blood fell on the floor like raindrops. The elk's leg bent backward again, but the warrior knew time was short. She arched her back and inhaled a deep breath as her mind called back to her hunting juice. Looking forward, her blue gaze burned through the doe's skin like the sun's blaze. By the time the elk stretched its leg, she leaped forward and landed flat on one of  the animal's legs. When she quickly took a glance toward her hunting partner, she spotted the lacerations forming on her limbs. Does she not feel that? Perhaps she's too focused on getting this animal down. Looking back in a split second, she snarled at the doe and lunged over to sink her teeth into the doe's throat. Chassity's jaws were now locked and she held on until the animal got weaker and weaker.  ~
