| Rain slowed her pace down as she approached a clearing. A scent she hadn't smelt for months was thick in the air, a wolf pack must be close. Rain whimpered at the thought of her family and how she missed them so, but she shook the thought away quickly as a new one entered; she could start anew, have a new family that can teach her things her previous one could not. Rain paced for a short while debating on this thought "They might not accept such a tiny female." she groaned at her self-loathing "No, they can use my speed for many advantages." she argued. Sitting back on her haunches she looked out at the beautiful and vast land before her, she knew this was as good of a chance as any. With that thought she let out a loud siren-like howl, calling out for one of the pack members to come. She sat patiently and listened carefully, hoping to hear the thud of her own kind. Hopefully they would accept her. |

| Aurora almost didn't want to approach the wol at the crossing, the lithe thing and the way she shook and was tmid, Aurora nearly took pity upon her. Yet, as duties go she began her walk towards the wolf. Drawing in, Aurora picked up a female scent and smiled, lowering her head so not to scare her. "Greetings child, I am Delta Aurora of the Helidos pack, under the rule of a kind and gracious Alpha named Azul. What brings you here and why do you seem sad upon the arrival of our lands? Does something linger in your past young one?" Aurora's voice was smooth, caring, and above all kind. The more Aurora glanced at the ashen black fur, the more she could see that she was not small, but under the maturing age for a wolf to be traveling alone.
"Child, how old are you and why are you not with your family?" Aurora asked more bluntly that she assumed to. Closing her eyes, she held her breath for a moment before sitting infront of the new female. "Listen, I know what you seek. Why dont we begin with a name, your age, and what you're good at and we will go from there. " A smile crossed her face and her tongue was now panting in the heat, the thick fur in summer nearly killed her. Sometimes, it was just too hot. Yet soon, fall would come, and hopefully things would be much smoother for her. |

| Rain watched the white she-wolf slowly approach, her cerulean blue eyes giving a warm and welcome feeling. Rain felt like pouring all of her sad feelings out to this beautiful wolf, but she restrained and merely replied "My name is Rain, I am one year of age and i am..was, the fastest member of my pack." she paused to clear her throat of a knot that had bundled from the sadness. Lowering her head she added "My family and pack were killed by a group of humans, i was..too far away to do anything about it." her turquoise eyes glaze over with sadness, a low whimper sounds in the back of her throat.
Gaining her composure, yet again, she sits up a little taller "I know i am small, but i was the fastest hunter. I can kill just about anything nearly flawless." a slight amount of pride rung in her voice. Examining the obviously more experienced wolf Rain admired her beauty and size. |

| Aurora lowered her head as she listened to Rain speek, there was sorrow in her voice and it choked Aurora, forcing her to collect herself before addressing the young wolf. "Rain, I am deeply saddened by your losses in life, however, there is no reason why you must carry that burden especially since it is in your past. Do you understand what I am saying?" Aurora paused to give the child time to answer before continuing her speech. "The past can no longer harm you or hurt you. You must place it behind you if you want to move on. By moving, I mean becoming a hunter within this pack. The regrets and mistakes of yester are memories made and soon not forgotten, but there is more and your mind must be clear when you step across that imaginary line Rain. Promise me, that you will count us as your new family and force the other to stay in the past."
Aurora smiled and stood up, her body nearly twice the size of the younger wolfs. Her eyes closed as she brightly smiled and nudged the creature past the line. "Welcome Child." She barked as she began to trot towards the clearing. "There are other apprentice's like you, they are a few months younger than you, but there is a variety of life all around. Do not be scared, you will mentor under Eclipse and Shadow, two of our newest Hutners and under the watch of out beautiful Beta, Marrok. I have work to do, go an explore." Aurora yelled as she left the youngster just outside the camp. The voices of others would hopefully distract her. Long legs bounded off into the bright sun. |
