Wanderer's Lullaby [Open] Empty
PostSubject: Wanderer's Lullaby [Open] Wanderer's Lullaby [Open] Icon_minitimeAugust 1st 2015, 21:20

The season had gone by painfully slow, only to compel the broken with another crack down the middle, but was now complete. She was like glass. Her mind and body were once content, and reflected beauty. But now what appeared to be a shattered shape of misery. It was of course near impossible to loose the color of one's eye pigment, however the glowing amber that once filled them were now a weak light. Knowing not of what that light had left to shine deep within her orbs, the ghostly fae roamed as if it never concerned her. Nightmares dominated the nocturnal hours in her most peaceful state. She lacked energy. The will to keep living. Everyone, every wolf that meant something to her, was now gone again. The fae's presence was of a dull hope as she walked among the pack lands in an almost lifeless way. Her limbs were in motion, whilst it seemed her mind lacked in the effort to remain sane.

Cliché wandered passed tall trees, a dark side of her brain causing her to keep living as she ventured further beyond the camp and even farther away from reality. Fog then swarmed around her feet, reaching up to almost her sides, thick and transparent it was as it glided along her form. The humidity of summer made it even harder to breathe at such a height, but the she-wolf never seemed to notice, nor react loudly enough to it to care. The thick, ghostly air seemed to lock around her wrists and limbs like chains, but the mist that towered higher over her backside formed a distorted pair of wings. They were only a figment of her imagination, they couldn't possibly be the wings of a dove with feathers and purity. She had seen so much evil, so much darkness, the poor fae had almost convinced herself it had adopted her into a world she never thought to be apart of again.

With a mind so fragile and a body so vulnerable as it kept grieving, she was surprised she had managed to keep holding on to whatever rope was in front of her. Death had not come to her. She was a coward among those whom fought for the lives she had made. But she was thankful for those saviors of hers, and pitied herself for what act she couldn't uphold to save her own. The wolf wept a muffled cry of whines as she neared closer to where the act was committed. Each of them. Standing in the place of where all her sons had fallen into the grasps of a short life. She'd cradle the ghosts of her beloved children and hope they meet ends with their future life. The fae hoped for that connection to be felt once more before they spiritually passed. They'd arrive in her dreams from time to time, or a common illusion passed onto her from grief as she worked slowly throughout the day. "My sweet boys.." She'd whisper, her broken heart filled with only love, but a voice so hoarse from not speaking since that day could only manage from her throat.

Her head lowered and her eyes closed, as if she were kneeling over to nuzzle her three dead pups for one last time out of motherly instinct to show everything will be okay. Swallowing hard, she kept her whines to a low note before murmuring a gentle lullaby to wish her young a goodnight's rest. "Wandering.. children of the earth, do you know just how much you're worth?.. You have walked.. this.. path since your birth, you were destined for more.." The stars shown above her, so bright, so hopeful as they twinkled, the moon to accompany them all as their first friend in the nightly sky. As a believer of the stars and their power to shine even despite the death that happened, she continued and slowly lowered to the ground so that she'd rest beneath the stars with her young spiritually present to her mind's capacity, "-There are those.. who'll tell you you're wrong, they will try to.. silence your song, but right here.. is.. where you belong, so don't search.. anymore.." She'd sing lastly, her eyes being guided slowly to the skies as she watched them dance upon such a summer's night. The fae would wonder where they'd be in that sky so broad of theirs, perhaps alongside those that had also fallen after their births, or maybe even nearest to those with the highest potentials. She'd never know, and mask herself with a smile as she silently wept into the wind.

Wanderer's Lullaby [Open] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Wanderer's Lullaby [Open] Wanderer's Lullaby [Open] Icon_minitimeAugust 13th 2015, 22:45

'I spy with my little eye something... grey.' Fog. It was all that was here and all he could see. It surrounded him, like water making it difficult too see just exactly where his paws were stepping as it wrapped around his legs. The air was humid and the altitude high, not prime breathing conditions as he made his way upward. What lay ahead was unknown, he still had yet to be everywhere in these new lands, and he was still getting used to being a pack wolf. It seemed like it was almost yesterday when he wasn't bound to anything, the freedom of it all was rather wonderful and exciting. However, having a place to call home was also nice, but the thing that he would miss the most would be the ability to kills those he did not like. Now he was stuck with them and forced to play along nicely as he lived out his life here. How much longer he would live however was unknown, but he was not in his younger days anymore. He was not weak, he still stood strong and kept his personality, but he had no doubt that others would find him to be useless.

The sound of whimpering reached his ears, it was soft and sounded full of pain. But not just any pain, mental and physical. Almost as if being here was too much to ask of them at the moment, and it was a rather smart place to hide as well. The fog limited eyesight and it might take him a bit to find the source from which the sound had come from. Heading in the direction it seemed to come from he kept his ears perked and eyes darting about. He may be the brother of a merciless leader but he was not the same. Yes he had participated in some rather sinister things. Yes he had and still does enjoy killing. But he was never one to turn down a wolf in need, nor did he ever lie. He was cunning and deceiving, yes, but he still told no lies. And he would tell none now, if he found the wolf that was in some sort of state of discomfort he would try to help. Even if that sounded crazy and odd to even himself.

Eventually the soft murmur of a soft voice came to his ears and he set forward in more of a rush. His large paws hitting the earth with more force as he set his pace into a light jog, and soon through the mist he saw whom it was. The name was unknown to him, but the far-away and pained look in her gaze was enough to let him know that she was intact in pain. Seeing her like this was almost painful to him. What had happened for her to look so longingly towards the sky? Why was she out here all alone? And most importantly, who was she? He softly cleared his throat, taking a few steps forward as he lowered his head to be closer to her hight. She was smaller than he, a lot smaller. But he was of a rather large size and was used to lowering his head to fit the needs accordingly to the size of another. "Miss, are you alright? What or who has made you feel in such ways? I am Elder Lyonitus, pleasure to meet you. What might your name be dear?" His voice was soothing, without a trace of hostility in it at all. He was not sure how the light brown and creme mixed she-wolf would react, however he would bend accordingly. The last thing she would need was something else harsh coming down onto her. She was in much pain as it was and he did not wish to upset her any further. Perhaps being the elder didn't just mean advisement for the Alpha, but to the rest of the pack. He was not going to be that cheerful, happy-go-lucky grandparent, but he was going to be open to many things. Offer what he might have to those asking, but he was never going to be chuckling from the pits of his stomach and chest all day long.

Wanderer's Lullaby [Open] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Wanderer's Lullaby [Open] Wanderer's Lullaby [Open] Icon_minitimeAugust 14th 2015, 22:21

The peculiarity of the scene was rather unfortunate. She - a mother of what once were three - now sat at the center of where they all died in the event where she could not find the strength to protect. How weak she may of been in those moments goes to show she really didn't deserve such a privilege to be a mother in the first place. Perhaps that were true, perhaps she was not fit to be in such a caring position, for she could not fight for them in the worst of times. All three, had fallen, and the possibility of going into time where she could change her actions, had convinced her that maybe it could've saved at least one, or two of them. Icarus's death was too quick for her to comprehend, and Striker's hadn't lasted no long after - what caused her to feel such inner turmoil was that their master had said one from each litter would survive, but he lied to them. Instead he allowed her last one to die, and keep two of the four from her friend's litter alive, rather than a fair promise. The objective was to keep one victor, so why had she been the less fortunate? What else caused her to feel vengeful was her own mate, whom had ignored the gathering and instead ran off to feed his own needs now that his beloved children were destined to die. Cliché would never hate anyone more than she did for the coward her mate had become, and sincerely hoped he had been killed on his journey before reaching very far to wherever he had hoped to go.

Even for the weather being decently warm and humid, the breeze still tended to give her a shudder as it crawled up her back. Due to the height of the mountain edge, it didn't seem to surprise her, though rather irritate her. But her depressive demeanor didn't seem to react as she normally would, and instead caused her to sit deathly still as the fog crowded her. Thankfully, she could still see the stars above, for the grey air could not fend the atmosphere enough to cover such bright treasures. It hurt to speak, to sing even, but she managed a soft hum to the tune she so tried to soothe to her loved ones. It was gentle, a bit off key, and resisted from stopping until it would fade from her mind. Lowering her haunches slowly, she kept her limbs close to her, shifting her weight from side to side as she swayed to the song she hummed. Between each note, her voice would hoarsely whine in the attempt it may be heard from those in the sky to help aid her, to feed her the strength she so needed. It was selfish to ask the holy ones of the stars, she knew this after her cowardice actions, but she begged forgiveness and another chance at motherhood with all her might. She had been known to do this in the emptiness of her den, sitting there at the mouth every night after her duties and mumbling the song in her mind to herself as she spent her moments before sleep stargazing. "Please.. guide me." Cliché whispered, allowing the wind to silence her voice as she resumed her lullaby.

As the smell of another neared her, a small gasp would be inhaled through her mouth. Her faint amber eyes scanned the edge slowly, the sound of her heartbeat beating loud in her chest and rising in her throat. But she surprisingly did not move other than the movement of her snout and eyes. At the source seemingly neared closer to her, the she-wolf would remain face forwards, sucking up whatever courage she had left to leave little concern for her packmates to question over. The healer kept her eyes now straight on the skies as a voice from behind her started to speak, his breath slight from atop her shoulder as if he had knelt closer to eye level. She had no knowledge of whom owned this voice, nor did she wish to ask, it was quite clear she knew nothing of this brute, but she felt a bit at ease when he asked her what was wrong. Fiddlesticks, Cliché cursed to herself. Her head looked slightly away from where his face had been, avoiding the urge to meet his appearance in any way, shape or form just yet. "I'm fine." She lied, and had a feeling he would know it was. Once he had asked what was wrong and announced his name, her gaze seemed to of squinted in suspicion, though stayed focused on the twinkling specks in the atmosphere. "I'd rather not say, I'm in no position, nor state to discuss such what cruel things that had happened here.." The she-wolf said, her eyes flitting weakly away for a dull moment before resting on the individual whom asked. The fae made a short, ghostly smile to his concern, for she was grateful, though despised pity. She liked his name, and nodded her head respectfully to his age; for he perhaps was a lot wiser than her in many ways.

"My name is Cliché,.. Lead Healer of Erenyx." She whispered before swallowing back and speaking up a bit more as her brows knitted in curiosity, "What brings you here, Lyonitus?"

Wanderer's Lullaby [Open] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Wanderer's Lullaby [Open] Wanderer's Lullaby [Open] Icon_minitimeAugust 16th 2015, 18:03

Excuse the length~

His eyes narrowed in disbelief as she told him that she was fine, trying to hide her pain from him. He felt almost insulted, but he could guess in a pack like this, being vulnerable was deemed as bad. He sighed shaking his head as he said rather bluntly, "Sure you are." His voice was softer though, so he did not interrupt her speaking, but it would still be heard.  He understood that he was a stranger to her, but she still dipped her head in respect to his ranking due to his age. She did not look at him, refusing to show her face as he still gazed at her in concern. It was not until she said she'd rather not talk about it did it click. Horrible things had happened in this very spot, no doubt by order of his brother. What have you don now, Teren? He silently asked himself, but the question was soon faded away as she gave in and looked at him. She gave a small smile in what he guessed was gratitude for his actions. And in return he merely dipped his head and gave her a crooked grin. She kept going, now telling her name, which was one he had never heard before. Cliché... the Lead Healer here. She seems like a face with a good heart, tough I could be wrong.. Her voice was soft, a whisper until she swallowed, speaking up louder and asking him why he was here. Shrugging he came closer, sitting down beside her as he wrapped his head around her neck for a moment. It was not to be creepy, but rather to comfort her. He pulled back, explaining his actions with his words. "Take that as apology. I won't ask you further if what it is bothers you so much. If something terrible happened here, I know without anyone telling me that it was something my brother ordered..." He trailed off for a moment, letting that sink in. He then continued, "Your name is rather peculiar, I like it though. As for what brings me here, nothing but boredom I suppose. Though now that I have found you in your.. current state, I think that me coming up here wasn't for nothing." He continued to look at her, his gaze softer than it would normally be. He did not want to scar her away, she was already having so many emotions that he could tell how difficult being here was now for her. But still he sat silent, eventually his head moved to the ground where he stared at his paws. He awaited her response to his words, no doubt it would most likely be negative. After all, his brother had quite the reputation here, and it was bound to rub off on him a bit.

With a blunt response, she granted him no reply, for it was more or less useless to try and defend herself. She knew very well she had lied to mask her thoughts and sorrow to skip a portion of what she truly didn't want to discuss. Though she had a feeling by the end of the day, she would be persuaded to do so anyway. The lead healer carefully made herself comfortable as the elder had done the same next to her. This had been the most company she had been given since the day she last was here in this very territory. Most of her days were spent performing her duties alone as Cheshire did whatever he so pleased with himself, and then later eating alone, and sleeping in her empty den to be ridden with overthinking thoughts. Sleep had been almost impossible; sometimes she'd have to run around in several pauses to make her feel exhausted enough to rest her body. He seemed to of accepted her respects to him, which made her more at ease, even despite the stress she had underwent the last season and so on. Cliché quietly smiled to him as he too paid his respects in a subtle nod of his head with a rather dis-leveled grin. It made her want to chuckle at such an attempt, but all she could apply was a small smirk before it withered away to nothing in seconds to her solemn state. Her body then stiffened before carefully relaxing back into its former position as she felt the warmth of another wrap against her fur. The embrace of a living individual had been so foreign to her that she breathed every last bit of it before he had moved away. She couldn't recall the last she had felt such things, and was internally comforted at his actions. Her lips drew a tender smile, her amber eyes now peering to him in full rather than the fog over the clifftop. "Thank you.." The healer murmured softly to the other.

Her brows then narrowed to a rather interesting detail he had stated. Brother? She had never been given the pleasure of siblings, but she knew the relation quite well despite that for she had before two boys. "Teren's your brother?" She asked, leaning closer with a rather disgruntled look on her face. The she-wolf was a bit hesitant to remain sitting next to him, perhaps it all was a trick from Teren himself to pry on the parents now that had been traumatized that day. Perhaps he wasn't kind at all, and this was to mess with her vulnerable mind. She peered to him a bit closer, noticing the greenery to his eyes as she observed him more so than she had done before. There weren't a lot of resemblance other than the height and green eyes - perhaps it had run in the family, she wondered, fearing of it Teren will ever have offspring of his own with an unfortunate fae. "That's a shame." Her voice soothed in a rather sassy manner, the pads beneath her paws pressing firmly against the ground to keep her from moving too much from the realization. As the elder would announce why he was here, she'd only nod, though some of it seemed like a compliment even. She didn't know whether to blush or simply nod again, so she did nothing in response asides speak, "I wouldn't particularly describe my state as something worth interest, but its your word against mine." The fae knew that if she wasn't going to tell him, no one would probably of what has gone on through Teren's reign. Though if the two were close, perhaps he could ask him himself, she thought bitterly.

She sighed, "If you really want to know.. - Teren is the reason why my litter is dead." Leaving out any specifics, she wondered if he'd want her to continue, or save her the time so she didn't have to look back onto it.

Wanderer's Lullaby [Open] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Wanderer's Lullaby [Open] Wanderer's Lullaby [Open] Icon_minitimeAugust 24th 2015, 21:37

So sorry for the wait, Hun! Just know that I love you equal to the amount that Haru loves water <3

"'Thank you..'" The reply to his comforting actions was nothing more than a soft murmur. She had tensed when he first embraced her, as any wolf might have. This was his brother's pack after all, he wouldn't be surprised if there were constant surprise battles between wolves. Plus, this place made on on guard as it was, so he understood completely. But then she relaxed, taking a few deep breaths before she opened her eyes and gave him another small smile of gratitude in return. They were an amber color and fit in perfectly with her brown and creme coating. He spoke then explaining his actions as he sat with her now. It was night, so he doubted they would be interrupted by anyone, even Teren might be asleep now. The demon snoring away in his own private den with nothing to disturb him as he rested, for nothing dared. The brute was rather harsh and scary on a good day now, but being awoken from slumber... Yeesh anyone is ten times worse. Her words had rather struck a cord in him. It was not the words exactly, but the way she had said them, leaning now closer in order to inspect him. Locking his orbs onto her own he simply stared as he stayed completely still except for the movement of his jaws. "Yes." He needn't say more, the answer was simple as he now remained silent. Her words next now angered him and caused a small growl to come from his chest. 'A shame!? Perhaps maybe it is to her to be one, but she has no idea what our history was like! How Teren was before, nor anything about me! Can she really call that a shame from all she knows is the devil she sees now? Nevertheless he continued on with his words, her only replies being nods for a while. She then spoke speaking of how her current state isn't of any interest. Lionizes wanted to pound his large paw on the ground in frustration. Why was she being so difficult now? Had his previous actions not proved enough to her that he is not exactly like his brother is? Sure he was sinister and evil, he didn't deny that, nor would he ever. But he kept that part of him hidden, locked away for only the unfortunate souls to meet him. But now he was slightly roused with anger, and that was never a good sign. Through the silence he broke it his words coming out slightly harsh in response to her sassiness. "You know what, Cliché? You don't have any damn right to judge me as you are now. I hold no responsibility for my brother's actions that he is made here, hell I haven't seen him in years until a few days ago. And I have apologize for what ever he did, but that seemed to go way over your head. Teren may be bound to me by blood and respect, but that does not make me exactly like him." He stood lashing his tail as he did so, staring down at the fae with a small fire gleaming in his eye. "-Let me tell you something fae. Your Alpha, was never always like this. He was happy, he was fair, he was a just and good leader. He had a love he had children. But out of his frustration of not having a male heir that pack members would respect, he had her live away from him. He still loved her, but come the next winter she had mated with another. He found her mounted by none other than the pack Omega. Heartbroken and angered he changed, all because of a single girl who could not see. Think about that, would you? Before you start judging wolves by the family name they bear."

He stood still angered but slowly dying down as he got what he wanted to say off his chest. He realized that he should not have shared Teren's past because he only knew part of it, but it was in order to explain that he was not as terrible a wolf as his brother had become. His teeth were clenched but slowly the relaxed to normalcy, his tense posture now was able to move as he shifted his weight. His ears perked as he picked up on the soft sigh that came from her jaws and explained very blandly of what had happened. Pups.. gone.. So he's gone back to killing them, huh? Though I could be wrong. Sighing himself he sat back on the ground shaking his head, his ears flattened against his head for a moment before he rightened his muzzle and auditories. "Forgive my outburst, dear. Respect is a thing I pretty much require, and you were only making assumptions off of what you know. I don't know what type of wolf you strike Caspian as, I have not spoken with him yet. But please understand that I am not like my brother. If it helps you understand, I made him smile at the border. I'm more easygoing than the lot of us. As for your children... I am sorry to hear such things. Teen has.. a history with pups, so to say. And if you believe that it will do you good, you can tell me everything. I am rather good at keeping secrets, though I never lie. But we can keep this between the two of us. Think of it as a council, what happens here, stays here."

Wanderer's Lullaby [Open] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Wanderer's Lullaby [Open] Wanderer's Lullaby [Open] Icon_minitimeSeptember 3rd 2015, 22:09

As things began to unfold, Cliche would be forced back in her spot, fearing as to what he'd do to her as he unveiled a side she hadn't meant to discover. And he even shed light onto their own leader's past, a history which she had never thought to hear, nor want to know of, and he spat it so blindedly out into the open for anyone near to overhear. She had only expressed a tiny portion of her opinion with him, though she knew internally she judged him, questioned him and what he was truly liked. Though how could she be blamed after all which he had caused her to feel? When he had begun to make her feel small, the healer felt the fire burn within her that had seemed so dull after her childrens' deaths, the same feeling she got when sparing for her Lead role against another. Her lip twitched and anger rose in her chest as she took a stand for herself. He was much larger than her, clearly, though she would not allow him to belitte her like everyone else had in her life. "No you listen here, damnit-," Her eyes were a raging fire, one that burned with no mercy or remose as her voice bellowed over him, "-I don't give a shit what Teren was like prior to his arrival here, nor who he loved, or why he is the brute he is today. The Alpha I know is cruel, and that will always be my opinion of him. You cannot change my mind, for you are not me, and I am not you. I said it was a shame, for the Teren today is the only one I know, and the only one I will know till he or I are no longer breathing!" She snapped, growling and stepping forwards against the taller beast.

It had been her last straw, and all that anger she had been hiding behind grief had now left her, though she was still half-ready to pick an arguement if needed. She tried to calm herself to keep her voice relatively low, but stern, "I do not see you as the male that leads us, but I will not deny the fact I am rather hesitant to be around you, for Teren has caused me nothing more than sorrow the passed few weeks since my sons have died. My mate has left me, and is probably dead as well. I am at a lost cause in giving another person my trust, you mustn't blame me in my current state. I beg for your simpathy, even if you may not be able to understand the same details, I ask you only that you think of what I am under with Teren in control, and you as his brother. Did you honestly expect someone like me, a mother of now three dead children, to be trusting to you no matter even you weren't blood with Teren?" She asked, her voice growing soft from the amount of energy she had lost in her time of arguing back her pride, whatever was left of it that is. The fae shut her burning amber eyes for just a second before dropping back down in a sittting position. Her shoulders slumped forwards in exhaustion, nodding as a way of silently accepting his apology, even if he didn't mean it, or if he did, for that matter. He mentioned of his ability to soften Teren enough to smile, though she had seem him smile plenty of times, all which resulted from cruel things rather than pleasant memories. The Lead Healer quietly listened, too afraid to intrude and too tired to argue anymore unless it was necessary. "It seems history has only repeated itself if he has had a past with litters.. He made both another couple and me and my mate's litters fight to the death in this very spot.." Cliches eyes glossed over as she looked over the cliff, her features seemingly appearing more aged than she really was from how much sorrow she felt. "My eldest son was killed too soon.. my second eldest killed one, and died falling over there off the cliff along with another, and... my youngest.." Her lip quivered, "-he didn't even stand a chance.. Teren had promised a victor from each litter, and didn't stop the battle so that he may live, for he survived of my sons. That is why I had grown bitter of your brother.. he broke his promise, and now I am without a family." The she-wolf whispered, choking back the lump in her throat that caused her voice to feel hoarse and hard of breathing.

Wanderer's Lullaby [Open] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Wanderer's Lullaby [Open] Wanderer's Lullaby [Open] Icon_minitimeSeptember 18th 2015, 20:48

When she had been fighting back, defending herself, Lyonitus had still been seething with anger. He was beyond pissed, his chest heaving as he drew in large, heavy breaths to try and restrain himself from attacking her. His whole body had shook, wanting nothing more than to lash out and grip her pretty little neck in his jaws. No, he did not want to kill her, but rather force her to submit to him. Understand that he was someone that she should always treat with respect, no matter the situation. But as she went on and he saw every single amount of pain she was in and why, his anger was forgotten. Her voice had gone from yelling like his own, to soft, hushed words as she sunk back down. As she began she had shot up, stepping up to him in refusal to back down despite his size and obvious anger. The little she-wolf might be a healer, but she had every ounce of self-respect that allowed one to fight in her. And as he apologized, she had only nodded in reply, her shoulders slumped in defeat and exhaustion. And it was after he had finished speaking did she break. Her words whispered and full of pain as she finally explained what had happened; an explanation as to why she felt as she did. It was depressing to say the least, to know that only one of your litter will live only to continue their apprenticeship. Worse to see them all die after one. It made him wonder if any of those unfortunate souls even lived. He hadn't seen any younger wolves when he had walked around the camp. Perhaps the timing was just wrong.

She choked, the lump in her throat was growing and he could tell. For now he just stood there staring at her, wondering what he should do exactly. He felt only sadness for the female, not pity. He knew she was hurting, but never having a female to call his own, or a sister to protect had left him rather confused as to what she needed. Moving his eyes away from her, he looked around until his eyes landed on the spot she had looked at specifically. One of her sons had fallen over the cliff apparently, which would no doubt end in either death or serious injury. He frowned, a small growl coming out from his jaws. It was not directed towards anyone, more of him just expressing his frustration as to what he should do. Heck, he was almost as clueless as a fawn alone in a meadow. Narrowing his gaze he thought of something, what if he had not died? But left due to fear and anger? He couldn't be sure, and he wouldn't want to get her hopes up, but he had to ask. But diving straight into it wouldn't be good. So instead he came forward and sat by her side, his head resting on her's again for comfort. He subtly pulled her in, and if she caught on to it, it would be a sign that she could lean on him if she so wished. "What were their names, dear? What did they look like, and how did they act? I know it might be painful to think about, but it helps you remember them. The spirits know how many dead wolves I still remember. Wether I killed them or not, I still remember. And yes I have killed many. I am Teren's brother, all of us have some sort of insanity." He smiled slightly, it was tense but still there. His voice was soft, soothing but a little eerie. It was the one he would usually use to lure in his kills, but he still had no intention of harming her. There was the comforting side to it, yet there still was the warning laced in it. The brute just hoped that the healer wouldn't catch onto it. Remaining silent, the elder would stare only ahead, not moving his skull unless she pulled away. He would understand if she would, but part of him hoped that she would accept his support.
