To say he wasn't surprised would be both an insult and a lie,but Xerentis was all the more grateful. As for the rest, he saw, what he thought, the same greater potential in all of the individuals brought forth - specifically Tatsu, for he was granted front and center to witness what she could provide. Surely she'll only improve more so from here on out, but harder, putting that young potential to good use just as well as his own. A strange playfulness seemed to glow in his golden heart at the expectancy of Malachai being moved up and he placed in the position that he was accepted by. Now, much like when he was in his prior pack, he was capable of more and given some line of authority over the following. He failed to hide a smile, however he didn't allow it to pester him this time around. Already the ivory, ash dusted wolf could feel a sense of pride wash over his bones and feel the aura of his commander's presence among him. He looked outwards and grinned to what may of been a hidden message to send back home, one which meant that he was okay here, and growing every day, even apart from his beloved right-hand wolf.

Then, with a small shift of his two-toned eyes, Xerentis sought refuge in his newly appointed partner and smiled happily before giving her a congratulatory, silent nod in order to acknowledge her promotion. He quirked a rather humored brow, though his eyes told a challenge that only he could share with the fae. Their time as Deltas would be an interesting one, he half-promised before turning to the others and welcoming them one by one to whoever would peer his way specifically. He wished to let all those around him know they were just as important and equal to him, even despite the change and the envy others may or may not feel. Raising his head, he cleared his throat and allowed his posture to flow into it's given role as Delta male. He promised to himself that he'd make the Elite and Alphas proud rather than disappointed with who they left in Malachai's former position. The ivory wolf would make the best of it with his all, and carry it out as professionally as possible - though with of course being just as welcoming and friendly as he could muster to newcomers. They all deserved a chance, and all wolves held the natural right to challenge him, just as well as he. However, this was just the beginning. Time was just fortunately on his side now.

Xerentis awaited the time where all wolves were dismissed to properly come up to the Alphas, fearing they'd find it rude to abruptly tell them his thanks. Patiently allowing those promoted to say their piece, he slipped carefully in and, with glistening bi-colored hues, the brute bowed and granted them a respected friendliness before speaking, "I thank you for your decision in granting Tatsu and I the position said of your Deltas. I promise you both that you won't be disappointed with what we make of this and only grow from here on out as a team." He then turned to Tatsu and politely whispered her a soft goodbye before dismissing himself without another word. After the training, he was due for a small nap before running off with excitement to check the borders. As he ran, he only had one thought left on his mind.
