| Warrior Cassiopeia, a new introduction was closely followed by a new way of life, a possibly dangerous one. The first trial of many had been finished and the blurry perspective of her journey made it seem impossible, the goal like a shrouded dream. One where the plot is vague other the dangers which are immediately present and harming. Taking it out of the dream-state, because of her current conscious state, the next task was to find someone for information, a little more reliable than the cream wolf who had been crazy for blood and pain. Her demon had probably been less civilized then the one which inhabited the space where Cassiopeia's heart should be, this one only guided her lightly, loose reins. However the reins were indeed there and it had complete control over the thoughts of justice and joy, crushing them to powder which it garnished its plans with. It kept its goals well hidden from her dark eyes, ones which now scanned the blooming forest, hoping for signs of a beating heart, the likes of which she lacked. You could put a ear to her chest and you would hear pumping, but that was simply the demons dark, booming laughter. It rang in her ears constantly, a low buzz, but if it went missing she would be lost like a blind pup trying to find its dead mother.
Instead of trying to fight the darkness, she appeased it, hoping for it to reward her like a dog. She was simply a pet to the thing possessing her body, a whimpering fool under the black paw which crushed her. Unfortunately she was among the devil's kind as it appeared through the wolf which had welcomed her with harsh, biting words. Though they be slightly different, adapting to their own wolf, they all shared similar goals of pain and torture to inhabit the world which they could not walk without a host. Not a good place to try and break free from the grim shackles of her captor in this Hell. For her new free soul, exhausted and shivering in the coldness of freedom, would be eaten alive by the others demons using wolves' teeth. Then her blood would be spilt, absent of the demon, but he would be laughing from his prison in the real Hell. He had doomed her from the moment he possessed her fragile, loveless soul. It had smiled at the death of a cheating lover and drove her into madness to get a better grip on her controls. She then was forced to compose herself and pull on the facade which the demon handed her, him stitching the sickly sweet seams himself. A gift of sorts so that she might live in a pack, a dream of hers, while fulfilling his own dark desires.
Smells assaulted her nose, wolves, and her instinct to run was barely controllable. Instead she obliged it with comforting words that she would if anything went wrong, knowing the demon would never allow it, but still lying to herself. Her eyes drifted from one shrub to the other, where best to break into the clearing, to make as little noise as possible. She picked a set of lively twins, space enough between them to fit a hare, not a wolf. But she squeezed anyway, discomfort not a feeling she thought about often, but the bushes protested. They did not wish to be a passageway, making a racket about the matter as she passed through anyway. However the noise was sure to draw attention, possibly from every killer in the clearing. Her devil smiled, delighted for a show, feeding on the embarrassment like a sweet snack. Persona slipping on a like an itchy pelt, the devil forcing it to fit, she lowered her tail and ears shielded the back of her head. Innocent brown eyes looked for someone to address, another unfriendly soul for her fake facade to make an enemy of. |

| Nestled in a patch of shrubs, the warrior's ears twitched as they heard the noise of paws crunching grass. The black wolf had been resting all day, tail curled around his hind legs which were splayed out and head fitted between his forepaws. His mind had been filled with thoughts of what had happened during the last month, particularly the Helidos female he'd ended up capturing. He'd still have to answer for that but he would accept whatever fate fell on him. Then there was the chance occurrence with the Helidos Beta at that beach. The implication from her words had been that Steele was the one she was aiming to kill, not him but that meant in the end they were enemies. It was a pity. He would've liked to see her skills in battle, to see what she had that the Helidos Alpha had deemed her worthy of to promote her to Beta. And always there, nagging in the back of his mind, was the eccentric Cliche. She had been the most fascinating wolf he'd come across so far, something like an enigma and he wanted to get to see what made her tick. Rustle, rustle. When he'd pushed aside those thoughts Tye's eyes finally slid open as chips of stone cold blue, light as the ocean with just as much emotion.
He raised his head, glancing in the direction of the noise for the source. It was another female that had entered the clearing. He stood up, raking her form. She had the warrior's build and a certain spark of insanity that he saw before a facade of innocence slipped over her features. So she was a demon with an angel's appearance. The perfect Erenyx member, Tye mused. He said, voice slicing the air like a spear, "Lost are we?" It was not so much of a question so much as a statement, a prodding that was designed to uncover her true feelings. |

| Brown met blue as the fae's cream head swung to the source of the voice, blue which was like ice but entrancing all the same. Her steady gaze had not found the black wolf in her initial search, his pelt a sort of camouflage in the shadows of the forest. Broad chest and fur which did not seem like it belonged to a live animal made him an interesting wolf to look at, but the eyes were her main focus. Blue that could look into souls, blue which could see the demon hiding inside. She hoped her ruse to work though, the demon berated her for her weaknesses, the ones which she had no control. Her facade may not be good enough for those eyes, for those blue skies could tear it down in an instant. But those were only her fears, fears which drove her to crazed fear which her demon enjoyed immensely.
"Yes, in fact, I am lost,"
Her voice was sweet as molasses and an emphasize on each word made her as slow as the sugary treat too. Her demon reminded her of her mission, knowledge was key, however he withheld the vital knowing of which knowledge she was looking for. Hoping to please, without appearing too curious she continued on, this time with the consistency of honey in her voice.
"My name is Cassiopeia and I am a new Warrior of your clan. You wouldn't happen to know where I might go from here? A point in the right direction would be much obliged,"
She scowled internally at her words, they were polite and innocent, even a hint of fear touched their tones. It maddened her to be so fake, but the mask had been donned and the devil had glued it to her face with her fear of what he might do. She had to content herself with being alone in her thoughts, for her dark Majesty was refusing to comment on any of it. He left her in the dark so that when he did show himself it was her only chance to bask in rays of light, although it be crimson as blood. Deprived as she was, her chance to be alone allowed her to venture into thoughts which the crimson light did not allow. Her dreams of being free, no matter how much the white light might blind her and the lonely feelings which would invade. But she would have thoughts of love and bravery, ones not tinged with secret plans and hints of depravity. But she knew it would be a grueling process and she didn't even know where to start. The coup d'etat might kill her, for she wasn't sure that she could grow a new heart, surely the devil would leave her nothing behind but an empty husk. She would need the help of another, one which she had yet to find, to recover her from the helpless state which she would be in. |

| Tye's head inclined ever so slightly as she spoke. Her voice reminded him of the former Alphess. It belonged to the voice of a soothsayer, a seductress whose every word was laced with poison disguised as a spine-tingling sweetness that infiltrated every fiber of the soul until it had buried itself deep into the crevices of the mind. It teased and caressed, lulling the gullible and vulnerable to danger. Tye watched her, the mane of spiked fur, dappled with shadows, pointed in her general direction like lances. It was an odd feature of his. Tye's very calmness resonated from the way he held himself, as if he had the whole world in his paws or that there was no doubt that he was in total control of himself or the situation but his two distinguishing features made it seem like there was something dangerous lurking underneath. Something that was not to be toyed with for the one who did would be rewarded with death or a fatal injury. Of course, that would happen only if he was pushed too far. No one had done that ever since the Alpha of his former pack. Tye rose to his paws as she introduced herself, mentally smiling at the little touch of fear in her dulcet tones.
He wondered if the cause was him. Tye didn't consider himself scary. He was far too relaxed, to the point where he could be mistaken for a statue at times and usually reacted not on emotions but after processing them. He supposed though being in an unknown area by oneself with only the inner devil for company could elicit some shred of fear, even for those whose hearts belonged to him. Tye considered her words, matching them with her possible motivations. Treason? Possibly. He said, "Now that depends Warrior Cassiopeia, where is it you would like to go? You can make a den for yourself here if you fancy sleep and rest from your travels. Or you can go forward from here on the same path you've been walking on to explore the lands beyond." |

| Her body angled towards his, not wishing to be seen as any more than her medium-sized form, fear may have graced her tone but it certainly did not grace her mind. She had decided long before that if she were to die, that would be the perfect time to reject her devil, waging the war inside as well as outside. She wouldn't go into the darkness of death still accompanied with a crimson light, instead she would be completely alone. However she saw no particular threat in this wolf, he seemed far too calm to be planning an attack. Of course that may be just his plan, which is why she still planned out every possible means of escape in the meantime. She wouldn't be able to plan out counterattacks until she found out his exact means of attack.
But instead of showing her calculations on her face, she continued with the innocent and slightly confused facade. The devil had made this one with patience and care, waiting for his plan to come together. She had to think of her words before she spoke, her lilting tone may have been mastered, but her words had not.
"Might I know your name? Also where are the hunting grounds of our territory?"
The our had been a last second decision, but a good one, reminding the brute that they were on the same side. Her own plans to gather as much intel as possible, any of it may be useful to the crimson devil. She looked around herself, wishing that she might find a burrow which she could copy. Her idea of a den had enough room for two, but she didn't want to give the surrounding males any ideas. Not to mention finding the perfect place for one would be important, room to run as well as the inability for a large group of wolves to circle her. She needed to continuously be prepared in this dangerous pack, she did not wish to die because of her own mistakes.
The demon's only input was a slight nod at her progress so far, giving her the pleasure of knowing she was doing it right so far. Thankfully he was not privy to her confidential thoughts to do with his future dethroning, she had learned through the years as to how to hide from him. However general feelings of mischief did sometimes get to him, he would then punish her with sightings of him outside of her mind. He would appear in the shadows, a demonic wolf bathed in crimson flames. That or he would simply appear as a crimson shadow, one which followed her no matter how far she ran. The reason which she followed his orders so precisely, she did not wish to be thrown into madness, fearful of her own shadows. He knew of this weakness and capitalized it to its fullest extent, dripping it of every drop of fear and sorrow. But this fear did not appear on her face, for she did not wish this black wolf to see, instead she kept it retained to her dark eyes. Ones which you could only see her feelings if light shown on her, reflecting her pupils as well as her crimson influenced soul. |

| She'd polished her facade to the utmost perfection, Tye could tell. Hers was a mask of innocence whereby the tiniest ripples of her true self would come close to the surface but recede when it came under scrutiny. It was well practiced. Tye knew she wanted something but he still had no concrete clues as to what that something was. Most sought power and respect with hearts full of ambition and determination. Sometimes it was complemented with cunning and arrogance that led those of a more monstrous nature to scheme and manipulate at the cost of others' pain and suffering. "Tye," He responded, his voice seeming to echo around the air. He flicked his tail to the left and said, "The hunting grounds are to your right further down past the clearing."
At this, he stopped regarding the female with a bit more curiosity. To be sure, she had come with the intention of joining the pack but there were secrets she was keeping. She did have an ulterior motive. What was it? To dispose of their current leader? To take a throne for herself? To enact some kind of regime? He took a step towards her and said, his eyes peering into hers, "I would tell you more but there is one question I want to ask you. You were accepted so you are my fellow pack member but you seem nervous. It isn't because you're scared though I give you credit for your act. It is impressive. My question is this, what are you hiding? Answer carefully." |

| Trudging through the woods had caused Silacea to stumble apon a rather peculiar sight. Two other wolves in the packs clearing. She had followed Lead Warrior Chiara's scent trail to the place where dens could be made. Stretching her limbs and batting her eyes, she proceeded on until she heard the cadence of soft voices cascading to her ears. They pricked to and for in an attemp to understand the conversation. The red fae's curiosity had peaked, and it was so, against her better nature, she decided to wander into the clearing herself to see who these new wolves were. Playing it off like she had casually strolled into the conversation, she flicked her ears in their direction and turned her gargantuan frame to face the two. She smiled invitingly over the strong awkwardness that resonated in her pace. But her eyes held no value as she strut herself amongst them. "Hello," she cordially conversed as her words trickled like honey,"my name is Silacea, a new warrior to the pack. Who might you two be?" She smiled. Then seeing the distance between the two, the thought hit her, were they in the midst of an important conversation? "Forgive me of I have....interrupted." She said with a slightly overbearing tone, but her voice was over all kind. Fog once again came over the eyes that were so full of life before as she zoned out for a mere second, hearing the rush of a far off creek, she soon snapped her ears back into a proper position, and gave a lingering glance to the brute Tye. He wasn't half bad. But probably not her type. She liked brutes she could wrap around her paws, and he seemed like nobody's fool.
Ooc- Please excuse me if I have really I interrupted!! |

| He had seen through her facade, something she had guessed his knowing blue eyes could do. He seemed an intelligent wolf, keeping a relaxed tone as he accused her of hidden motives and an act. She couldn't lie to this brute, he would see through the thick sweetness, cutting down to the bitter quick of her lying voice. She nearly shook with how easily he had seen a perfect mask and ripped it off, simple as a few untrusting words leaving his tongue. She nearly left the act completely behind, wanting to snarl at this possible enemy, but the demon lashed out at her. His demands crippled her, bringing her to his knees, her words would have left her lips.
Suddenly a large fae entered the clearing, an interesting one to look at, her coat was like the colors of the forest, many and peppered. If Cassiopeia had an angry look in this new being which she had inhabited, then she would have scared this wolf off merely with the fire in her bitter cocoa eyes. But instead she only a quick chance to lean forward to the black wolf, her muzzle touching the side of his face. She whispered in her natural, feminine voice, one which only held hints of sugar, a voice where you only wanted more. "I am of no danger to you or your pack, I cannot speak for my demon though," The fae approached further, beginning to speak, Cassiopeia stepped back quickly. She would talk further to the ebony wolf, if he wished, but only in privacy. She smiled innocently at the new warrior, she even managed a slight bit of embarrassment, as if her quick answer to a hard question was nothing but a flirt. She turned her back on the black brute, not wishing for him to see her performance which would surely fool this hazel-eyed fae. It was well enough performed that none should have been able to impregnate it, but this Tye had.
"No, you are not interrupting us, this is Warrior Tye and I am Warrior Cassiopeia, a new warrior such as yourself. It is very pleasant to meet you in fact, we who are new to the pack must stick together. We do not want to be bullied by the members here previous to us, like this one," A chuckle left her lips and turned a jesting eye to Tye, who she had assumed was a warrior, her voice still shared similarities to sugar. Shy was not one of the things the Goddess had gifted her, brave nature drove her to push the charisma of the act. No one could deny the molasses tone in her voice, possibly even an accent hinting at its depths. But it had nothing in common to the voice which she had revealed to Tye, an act which she might come to regret later. She didn't fear outer pain as much as the madness which the devil could bring to her mind, a constant threat if she didn't perform perfectly.
She hoped Warrior Tye to go along with the act, she could foresee no backlash in the presence of this other new member. Unless Tye was to slaughter at this moment he had no reason not to at least pretend that Cassiopeia had been flirting with no return. She didn't expect this wolf to show too many feelings for the sake of two members who had not even been here a moon. More than likely he would bide his time, waiting for Cassiopeia to once again be alone to threaten her without interruption. That or he would do something else entirely, she had no knowledge of this wolf or his intentions, he might be planning an overthrowing and simply looking for more members. But Cassiopeia had no plans on making too many enemies, and if they did hate her, it would only be for how sickeningly sweet and innocent she was. It was something that was beginning to grow on her own annoyance, sure to provoke these coarse wolves who did not wish for friends but warriors. She would fool them all though, when in battle she would show them that she was not a wolf to be messed with, her demon's blood lust too strong for her to be killed battling a lone wolf. No, it would take more then one, that or the best of them, that is who could beat her. But her plans of fights were few, plans of dinner much closer to mind, not to mention she would hide her skill of the fight until it was wished of her to reveal it. |

| A new voice filtered through the air. Tye's head moved, eyes skating to the newcomer quickly. It was a red fae, who had sauntered into the clearing. She was walking strangely as if she had done something embarrassing beforehand and trying to play it cool. It almost made him smile. He was about to reply when the other wolf, Cassiopeia, closed whatever space they had between them by leaning forwards so far her muzzle touched his face. He stiffened, feeling her fur brush his, skin contacting skin. Heat rushed through his face as she whispered to him. Strange. This was the second time he had felt some kind of weird sensation but this time it felt like he had been thrown into a ravine and he'd forgotten how to swim. It wasn't unpleasant but it made him feel slightly light-headed. Her voice definitely had its effects and Tye almost fell under its spell. He didn't particularly care about what it was she was saying only that her voice was wreaking havoc on his brain. When she pulled away Tye shook his head slightly, wondering where the fog had come from. He still didn't believe her because there was something a little unhinged about her. Yet at the same time, there was something scarily charming about her and he wasn't sure what that was. As she began to move closer he unconsciously took one step back, wary of the other female present and what it would look like if the new warrior happened to move closer. So close that their bodies would be brushing against one another. He composed himself smoothly, his expression neutral once more and watched Cassiopeia turn, her face slipping back into its masquerade of innocence. She even managed to feign embarrassment. When she spoke again Tye found himself listening in spite of himself. Her words were coated with charm, dripping and oozing with practiced, finely honed charisma. Pity. It seemed misplaced with her, woven in the guise of a female who to Tye, seemed like there was something poisonous lurking underneath that would rain hell on the pack-lands and laugh while doing so. It was strangely intriguing though like he was peeling back layers of bark from a tree until he managed to tear out the core underneath to find out what it was truly made of. He glanced over at the newcomer with cool ice blues, set in a stark contrast in his black fur. She was appraising him with some interest but he had no interest in her at the moment. She seemed like she'd make a good friend through time, a comrade even for he guessed she was a warrior with her confidence and strut. Tye looked back at Cassiopeia as she spoke again, meeting her brown eyes with his icy blues. She was playing a good game of cat and mouse with deceit and trickery using words veiled with sugar as her sword and shield. It reminded him of his superior, Chiara but somehow, this one seemed to be much sweeter and more seductive. What did she want him to do? Flirt? And so, Tye did. He guessed he’d dip his paw into this little game. He was sure the warrior was after something whether it be power, domination or even knowledge but he would not force it out of her and wait. Wolves were innocent until proven guilty after all. Cassiopeia had done nothing so far except speak about demons that would harm the pack. The only demons that were real were the ones in a wolf’s head. The rest was nothing but fantasy and delusions of an overactive mind. So he just responded, an eyebrow raising slightly, “Oh believe me if I wanted to bully you I’d have already have gotten you underneath me and have you begging me for mercy.” |

| A slight growl escaped the red fae. Her ears pinned themselves back, and for a moment, her innocent composure was lost. Her fur fluffed at the warriors words. Cassiopeia? Begging for mercy from him? Who in the hell did this low life scum think he was? Her mouth was laced shut through her gritting teeth, her lips curled slightly. In this subtle display of aggression, she nearly lost all composure. But her act resumed as she calmed herself. Watch your temper, she thought through the rage. Her head tilted to the side, as if she pretended to not understand exactly what this brute meant. But she knew well what he was saying. He was a cocky one, she judgmentally snorted in her head. She couldn't help but let her eyes wander the the fae inches from him. What was she hiding? Silacea couldn't ask, for she knew no answer would result. She found herself at a temporary loss of words as she shrugged off the faes speech about sticking together. She wasn't here to make friends. She was here to serve, and rank up. Her lust for power enveloped her mind as she contemplated what it may be like for the male to be the one begging for mercy under her paws. She wished to make him squirm. 'In due time' she assured within herself. "So, I suppose you both are fair warriors? Given your apparent strength." She stated calmly, yet let her gaze linger on Tye. As of this moment, Cassiopea seemed like no threat. She didn't seem as openly ruthless as the black brute. A little manipulation could change that. Maybe Silacea could find a button to push in-order for this fae to reveal her true colors. Silacea feared not for herself as she took another step toward Tye, flicking her tail on his nose as she came to sit tall and proud in front of the two, eyeing them both cautiously. |

| The brutes words were harsh, but in a certain wolfish light it could be seen as flirting, if not a jest. But her mind did race to her flashing teeth and snarling face if he dared to touch her more then simply brushing her. They could develop a truce, even a friendship in this hellish place. If she had a heart it would want it more than anything, but she didn't, so she simply wished to please her demon. She also desperately hoped her demon to not ask her to do anything drastic, charades were one thing, treason a whole other playing field. Unfortunately that was a playing field which she would spend her death throws, an unpleasant thought.
But for now he had let her be, letting her speak freely with this shadowy male with his cold blue eyes. She shivered at a certain vibe she got from his strength, it thrilled her slightly, feeling that power would be exciting. Almost like the power to kill, except more personal and revealing, her demon was pushed out of her thoughts by this arousal, if that is what to call it. But the two sides of her had no room for these feelings, one wanted to kill him for it, the other wanted to submit, using her charmed voice to escape. Thankfully he had not done the act, merely spoke of it, she took pleasure in seeing the red fae's instinct to protect the wronged. She seemed almost good hearted, something that didn't belong in Hell, surely she had her own demons though.
"Goddess be graced that you are not that kind of wolf, Warrior Tye," Her sugar coated tongue giving a strain of joking to the words, she believed in no Goddess and this wolf might just be that kind of wolf. But her smiling face wished for peace, she did not need to reveal her ace so early in the game, therefore no fight could occur. "I do think myself a fair warrior, but I do not have either of your size," Her head ducked in retreat, her character would never brag, in fact her character questioned how she got the title of warrior. But she herself did not, she knew herself to have many tricks in a duel many of them bringing her to win. She did not fight with honor, never had she been taught how. Instead she fought brutally a creamy lash of a whip, crippling her foe, quick and questionable. There was no honor in dying, therefore, why should one lose because of it.
Her dark brown eyes turned on the shaggy black fur, she saw the wolf for what he was, ruthless and intelligent, she was much more sure of the latter. He might be able to beat her in battle, but only because she could not play her head games with him. However he still did not know the power hidden in the thick, corded muscles which was concealed beneath her cost. He did not know of the crimson power which would storm through her veins. She had only used it twice before, really it wasn't hers, the demon controlled the liquid. A moose had been in rut, attacking the cream wolf without warning. He would have killed the little wolf if it weren't for the potion the devil poured in her veins, running faster, jumping higher, and becoming stronger. The moose left the fight with bloody wounds while Cassiopeia left with a clean pelt, only the moose's blood on her snout. It astounded her, but she felt like she had lost control during the fight, a demon taking control. He had pushed her out of the way and saved his host's life, for the next few days she couldn't get rid of him though. He had tasted her power and didn't want to lose it, she had loosened her grip and he tightened his. The second time it happened, it have him the power to drive her mad, appearing in the corner of her eye, shadows which weren't natural. Now she was simply a knight in the rein of a mad king, only keeping sane because the demon wished it. |

| occ: Consider Tye as an Omega from this point on.
Tye's ears perked as he heard the slight growl come from the warrior, Silacea. His words hadn't even been aimed at her but she had reacted to it all the same. She had displayed aggression, albeit short-lived but still it was there. That was a curious reaction, one that piqued his interest just slightly. Perhaps a few more pushes of the button would incite something in her. Then she would reveal if she was just an accomplished charlatan playing a tiger or really a dangerous warrior. As she tilted her head at him Tye just gazed at her, his expression blank. Did she have a nervous twitch or something? Had he confused her or was she playing stupid? Probably the latter. She seemed as if she was playing around anyway. The growl showed that she understood what he'd said though he thought it wouldn't have mattered to her. He turned his attention back to Cassiopeia, pushing his assumptions of Silacea towards the back of his mind. No doubt the red fae was concocting schemes of her own but as long as he stayed alert he didn't have to pay her any mind. For a moment he thought his words had no effect on the female, Cassiopeia. Then she shivered and it was not for the cold as though it was night, spring was in full bloom and made the air relatively warm. She had shivered because of his words or something that he had made her feel. That made Tye feel a little thrill of pleasure. He hadn't expected that result. At her words he chuckled, a low rumble coming from his chest. He could see the irony in her words. It was true. Goddesses were non-existent. He had not seen one as of yet and even if he had, there were many other things he would have wished something so powerful had given him other than the ability to dominate. Though, he supposed he couldn’t complain. It wasn’t a bad draw to be given in life at all. At Silacea's question Tye looked back at her, following her movements as she approached him. There was no lack of confidence from this one which was only a good thing. "That depends on who you ask," Tye replied. His ears leaned forwards at her flick, his muzzle creasing in displeasure at the top. He placed a paw on her offending tail, enough to cause some pain. He did not know what kind of game she was playing but he would not let her think she could do those kinds of actions to him without his doing anything in return. He continued self-depreciatingly, “I am just a simple rogue, nothing more and nothing less. Whether I’m fair or not, even a rogue must have skills to survive. I didn’t know strength was gifted only to the select few.” At this point his expression became slightly colder, his voice quiet but audible in the darkness, merciless even though they were layered in sarcasm, “And please, don’t do that again. I don’t think my heart can take it.” He let go, the shutters coming over his face again. As of now, she was an acquaintance, not a friend though that may change in the future. To Cassiopeia he said with a tinge of amusement, “A puzzling conundrum no doubt. What else is there to battle but size? Skill perhaps? Or strategy? Oh no, that’s all useless. It’s better to have brute force than battle smarts.”She was bluffing. She had some aces but she was wise enough to keep the hidden until they were necessary. A creature such as her who used double-edged words and words of gilded silver and honey would not be so naïve as to consider size the penultimate factor in a warrior’s competency. |

| Silacea raised her eyebrow quizzically to Tye placing his paw on her tail. He wasn't a fool after all. 'Bravo' her mind stated cooly. Their was more going on here than what she was aware. Their was an underlieing reason they had met. Be it fate or the like. She then met Tye's advance with a blank face. "I recommend you remove your paw, lest you fancy losing it." Her words were cordial, yet cold and to the point. "It seems their is more going on here than we realize. We are all one in the same. We all want something from this pack. Tye, you want power, is that not correct? And Cassiopeia, you want to kill, don't you? And I desire to be loyal to all those above me. But if I end up at the top, so be it. I am making no advances upon the great Alphess Esmarelda, I am merely stating truth. We all want something from these lands, no? So why don't we band together as friends, allies even?" Her glassy eyes mingled with those of the wolves in front of her, and her words rung true. She herself had no malicious intentions for her superiors, but it seemed as if the two before her could be the future of the pack, someday. She recognized their strength. A wind blew between her ears as she raised herself to her paws, heightening her frame, and pressing her haunches forward in a stretch. She held it for a couple seconds, then relaxed her frame, lacing it with mere mild tension. She shooke her head at herself. What she was doing could lead to a coup. What the hell was she doing? Only time could tell. ((Ooc- I have edited my post to reflect the proper ranking.))

| No surprise came to the creamy wolf this time; Tye had found her ruse and extinguished it, why shouldn't the red fae do as well. It seemed her illusions were not working as her devil as planned, she smirked at the thought of him looking over his stitching, looking for faults. But the narcissistic bastard blamed it on her, telling her she should just hand the reins over to him; she was doing a terrible job with them. This angered Cassiopeia, how dare he try and take what was rightfully hers, she growled fiercely at him, knowing she would have to pay for it. But her outer self showed known of this, instead it assessed the Silacea, one she had not taken for much. A small smile came from the genius in the Warrior's plans, allies were a good thing in a place like this, but her assumptions had been off.
"I fear you are slightly off in your calculations, m'dear, although killing does give me great joy. But I am simply a dutiful servant of my lord and master, one who inhabits the darker regions of my soul."Sarcasm shot through the last sentence, so it might be taken as a joke if Silacea did not believe in such things, she did not want to seem mad. The words were the first honest ones she had spoken to this new warrior; a throaty, sugar-tinged voice carried the words out of her mouth. It was the voice of a seductress, her true voice; the tones were darker and closer to revealing the demon within. This was the voice of a Queen, a dark master, or a priestess of dark arts; it came with expressions which the innocent little she-wolf with tones of honey would have feared. She couldn't help but look to Tye, hoping he would see the honesty within her tones. His blue eyes offset the crimson of her soul, a beautiful match made in Hell, she wouldn't mind working with him. She then turned to this Silacea, the one presenting the idea, a plan which would surely suit the large fae's needs. Power could be her goal, and the demon might just help her get to it, the demon had not yet stated his opinion of this fae. He was her judge and jury, with Cassiopeia as the soldier to escort her to her fate. But her plan seemed a good one, but Cassiopeia's trust would be much harder to gain then a few words said about friendship. Her trust was gained through actions, ones which might not be so easily done by the other.
”This agreement interests me, might you explain the exact duties of our contract. Why would I choose you as an ally and not another?” Back legs tucked beneath herself, sitting herself on the ground. She wished to hear Tye’s side on the proceedings, it may just take his acceptance to gain hers. She would also gamble that Tye’s wants and wishes were not limited to power, better yet, they may not even contain that. He did not seem the do whatever necessary sort, power might not be on the forefront of his mind, but if it wasn’t what compass was guiding him? Her brown eyes met his startling blue ones, wishing she had his same power to see the others thoughts, or at least read between the lines of a guise. Instead she was met with only what the black wolf wished to show. His strength showed through his detached nature, he was no wolf to be messed with, which is what Cassiopeia admired most about him. So far she had seen nothing of him which she did not, at least, respect if not praise. She wasn't sure of his morals, situation had not yet presented itself, but she couldn't be too fussy, her own morals were not of great integrity.
"Might I add a condition? Without stopping, she changed the tone from slightly detached, as if she did not care for the matter, to one of seriousness. "We shall be equals, no matter our ranking," This rung true, she did not wish to be less then them, even as an Omega which Nyx had threatened her with. If she were to have allies the time she would need them was as a an Omega, being trod on by your allies was not especially fun, might as well speak up now.

| "With such an intimidating request how can I not,"Tye snorted. She had bitten back, only a little. Perhaps not quite a tiger but more of a kitten. He didn't care for her words and honestly, found them insane. They were ridiculous. He? Make advances on her? He could imagine his brother teasing him from the heavens. And besides, he had a feeling if he did anything he would hurt another fae, one who he liked very much. He realized Cassiopeia had growled at Silacea's words. Tye glanced to her, surprised at her reaction. He was grateful though and showed it so by giving her a brief nod. Turning his attention back on Silacea he considered her words. Tye did want something from these lands but it was not power. He was not interested in domination. He would not reveal to them what drove him, only that he was not going to be part of their games. As Cassiopeia responded his gaze drifted back to her. Now she was starting to become confusing. The killing Tye understood. It was a sick, kind of twisted pleasure that most wolves that joined Erenyx indulged in. It was either born and bred from circumstances or simply a part of the personality itself. Tye was lucky in that he had escaped that. He would take no pleasure in killing but he would do it if it was necessary to survive. He didn't know which one applied to Cassiopeia but he supposed she was being sincere in that respect. Her speaking of servitude to an unseen lord and master was somewhat insane but she must have been joking. He couldn't really understand why she was looking at him so earnestly but he thought in that moment, she was being honest and that was the only thing he understood.
And surprise, it looked like some part of the proposal had enticed her to prod a little more about it. So it was knowledge she wanted but to do what with it? To blackmail and cause chaos? He wasn't overtly against it but at this point in time he couldn't afford it and he didn't care for it. His only concern was if the chaos in question would hurt his pack-mates in any way possible, the ones that he knew anyway. One of which was the one he enjoyed the most. The other three, well two was out of obligation the remaining one was out of a desire to train together. Tye would have to confront her later, when she was alone. She was not going to reveal all her plans, not in front of four prying ears and eyes. He looped his tail around his hind legs idly as Cassiopeia's eyes met his. He gave her nothing in return for his own desires were locked inside the crevasses of his mind. Power, whether it be political or physical, was a bonus. There was one promise, unspoken but understood and that was he would not submit. Strength came from character, not the title one bore. He had a feeling that if they came to blows, he would have to unleash a side of himself that was rarely ever provoked. To Silacea he finally responded,"You understand I will never commit any wrongs against the Alpha or anyone in the pack. I will never hurt them and I will not allow anyone to hurt them as well. We can be allies but only in the way of training. By all means, do whatever you like to achieve what you seek but do it by yourself. Just remember, my partnership only extends to what I just mentioned. I won't hesitate to attack if you try to do any wrong towards those in our pack or if you even attempt to." He finished with a look of indifference, seeming to find the whole thing entertaining. But he meant everything he had said down to the last syllable. A condition? Tye's ear flicked towards Cassiopeia. We shall we equals, no matter our ranking. Well, he wouldn't object to that. It was a smart move from her and raised his respect for her.

| The words she had spoken to Cassiopeia before had been nothing but a test of her limits. The entire time, Silacea had known that their must be something to this wolf, otherwise she wouldn't be inhabiting Erenyx. So, she was slightly off, her words were meant not to pin point what she wanted, but merely for her to explain what she wanted herself. An inner demon..how odd. She thought to herself as the cream fae explained. Tilting her head to gaze at Tye, she bore a blank expression. He was a smart ass, after all! Silacea laughed in her mind, this truce of sorts was going to be harder with willed wolves, such as the ones before her. They truly had their own minds. But her thoughts came to rest the second Tye mentioned her harming her pack. She stood up, tail raised, fur fluffing slightly. "If you think I will harm my pack, you are a damn fool. regaining her composure once more, she looked to Cassiopeia, whom she was expecting a rise from, doing the smart thing, she backed up a bit more. "What I want from this alliance of sorts is for each of us to become the strongest wolves we can possibly be. I want us each to be useable to our full potential, to better serve the pack. That is all I want. But when enough power is involved, then the two you can have whatever you want. That was all this was ever meant to mean." She cast an ice cold gaze at Tye, but rolled her eyes back to their usual position, as she knew he would pay no mind. |

| Cassiopeia had no plans on harming the pack, it would not be wise to have a whole pack of wolves wishing her dead. The thought quickly fled from her mind, if the demon commanded her to attack this new family, she would refuse. Of course thinking it was not nearly as easy as trying to deny him in the moment, the threats of going mad may just get to her. Thankfully her mind did not need to dwell on the future fights with a demon in her head. It appeared neither of her fellows believed in her demon, or if they did they simply thought it something not to bring up in conversation. She hoped they would just go with it, she didn't want to try and avoid the topic of her previous mate and the ways he wronged her as well as the demon that appeared in the wake of it.
Bitter chocolate looked over as Silacea made a biting comment to Tye, her eyes glancing at the cream wolf before taking a step back. It was quite odd, Cassiopeia didn't intend on protecting Tye, he did not need it. It was only by incidence that she so suddenly snarled at the Warrior the last time, it had even startled herself. She hoped Tye expected nothing from her, she had nothing to give, nor did she plan on producing anything. Not to mention if he ever wished her respect it would most aptly be gained by standing on his own four feet and defending himself. "Dear Tye, I hope you know I mean no harm to our pack, or any of its leaders. Better yet I have pledged my life to it, as Beta Nyx so kindly requested," Her tone took on a fake sweetness and she even laughed slightly after her comment on Beta Nyx, kindly was far from the way the crazed wolf had asked. She didn't wish to meet that wretched wolf again, thankfully the red and black wolf were nothing like her. She might have run the other way if Tye had been as openly cruel and hating as that near white wolf. Her fragile core could only endure so much abuse through the coating from the demon, he couldn't protect her from everything.
Cassiopeia remained quite still in her sitting position, she did not want to draw too much attention to herself other than the words she said. She could manipulate her words oh so well, but her body might give her away. Nothing to hide at the moment, other than the doubt that she would always have honourable thoughts towards the pack. At some point in her future years upon the Earth she would have doubts on the leadership of the pack and the thoughts that she could do so much better. Of course at the moment, a newly accepted wolf, she wouldn't have the trust of any and would more than likely be thrown, quite violently, from the position.
"Your offer interests me greatly, Warrior Tye, what have you to say on the matter? Interest in his answer combined with her relationship of trying to break his rocky exterior. Some part of her wanted to see further into him, see his motivations, embarrassing him may just start those fissures. The mind of the black wolf could carry anything, and yet not a trace of it floated to the surface. He could be planning to kill the light colored wolf and until he sprang for her throat, she would know nothing of it. This bit caused a small uncomfort, like a bur stuck in her fur, it was nothing too important to address immediately. If she was alone with him she might pick at it some more, satisfy her itch to have a peek at what made Tye tick. |

| "I'm just being careful. You never know who's the enemy or friend...you know?" Tye chuckled. There it was, the fire again. He added, teasing, "Hitting me with your tail wasn't very pack-like." Of course, Tye didn't care. It hadn't hurt but it was something he could use against her. Though he trusted her to an extent. She seemed as if she had no ulterior motive, for now. He cast his gaze onto Cassiopeia, heeding her words. Hers were a strange oxymoron of sincerity and double-meanings. And her laughter at her own admission of Nyx being kind seemed to point towards that. Kindness? That was a treasure in this world, as precious as life with a value that was limitless. He said, "Of course. You're just a demon looking for a home like the rest of us aren't you?" It was a joke, veiled in the veneers of nonchalance but he watched her intently, gauging her reaction. He was certain that there were no actual demons as that was an impossibility but he supposed the demon could have been real. Perhaps a twin or something. His gaze stayed on her for a moment, considering. Was she really crazy? He believed her to a certain extent. She probably wouldn't try to do anything now, not when she had no power. So any thoughts of treason or things of that nature were probably non-existent or only in the beginning stages. Nothing fully formed, nothing of immediate concern. Tye's loyalty was to his pack and complementing it, loyalty to his own vows and pledge. He was assured of who he was and his own beliefs. Despite his cynical nature he was a loyal wolf once he had formed true companionship with another. Nothing could change that.
"I say...let us start this fellowship," Tye replied. He looked at Cassiopeia, eyes meeting hers, "There are many strong warriors in this pack. In every wolf there lies a formidable opponent. A wolf's skill and ability is up to his or her own determination, hard work and skill. In my old pack every wolf was a fighter, even the healers and caretakers. They had to be to survive. Power was the way of life. Erenyx is not exactly the same but similar. I haven't seen anyone try to kill anyone yet for food or our great Alpha strike a wolf down for insubordination for example. My point is, wolves are stronger in a pack and as Erenyx wolves, we have a reputation to live up to. We must grow stronger than we already are, to push ourselves to the limit until our bones are crying for rest and our minds are in tatters from training our bodies until they can move no more." He turned back to Silacea, "We should start training in two suns and moons, on the Shallow Bend. Consider it our welcoming party." |

| Silacea's ear flicked slightly, nodding at Tye's words. Her eyes were full of a new found ambition and - hope. Hope to become stronger. Hope that she may possibly become her true best. That is all the red fae could ask for. Her head dipped as her mouth formed the words smoothly. "A fellowship it is then, if Cassiopeia agrees." Her words were genuinely optimistic. Her head moved to its usual side position as she awaited Cassiopeia's words. She wondered which side of the dual purpose fae would answer. The demon within or her facade. She sniffed at the gentle pine trees that couldn't have been to far off. Pine was good to train in, the wood sturdy, yet soft. Her mind floated to what training would be like with the two of them. The tension the the ginger fae had felt melted away, allowing her to feel at ease with the new acquaintances before her. She cleared her throat slightly as she embraced the silence, how it enveloped everything in its white blanket of nothingness, a perpetual end that could also mean the beginning of new thoughts or ideas. It intriged her how something so simple could be utterly meaningless, yet at the same time, it could be the most powerful force on earth. How strange, indeed. |

| Tye's not so subtle mention of demons made waves in her soul, she should not have been so honest with these strangers. But the context nearly made her laugh, a subdued smile was all she showed though. He had heard her hidden meanings and replied with his own, surely watching for her reaction. But she kept them to a minimum, the slight grin being the only gift she gave him.
The thought of training with these two certainly intrigued her, but she wasn't sure which side of her to present. They could not know of the unique power hidden within, not to mention she was slightly fearful of letting the demon take control once more. It could be only a few more times before he could vie for the title of control and she would lose grip of any shred of reality, no doubt she would be lost in her own mind. But the thought to hone her own masterful skills did intrigue her, it would be wonderful to once again spar without the prospect of death on her mind. It might even be possible that these two could match her skills, making for a truly interesting fight, no more easy wins. With her brutal teacher, he had shown her how to win, at all costs. It was almost like he knew her future, she would desert the pack to find a new way of life. He saw the tough path which she would wind up taking, with many larger enemies and unfair advantages. So she had never truly learned to fight a fair duel, no backstabbing or cheating allowed. Every time she sparred with her master, it had been to kill, he had been the one who had to hold back. Eventually it came to the point where he had to give it his all, when the student surpassed the teacher.
She had learned to be ruthless as well as cunning, two traits which the honey-toned wolf did not have. It would be a challenge not only physically, but also mentally, she could not give away much of her inner power, it was the only surprise she had. Tye had already figured out her other aces and caught her on them, calling the cheat, which made her reveal her hand. He was just as cunning as herself, if not more, therefore she had to keep a little something from him. Her long gone heart enjoyed the thought of forming bonds with the two larger wolves she stood with. But that was certainly not her intent, or her demon's intent, she would use them as a means to an end. She would be prepared for whatever came with the skills she gained from them, then she would use it when the moment was ripe. However she had not a clue of what the moment might be, it could be a challenge for power, or possibly the killing of a threat, she did not know. But she would be ready, that is what she did know, no more surprises.
"The proposition seems to be closing, and I would like to join before it is completely gone. I must say, the idea of exhausting myself until I can move no more seems quite lovely. Therefore I would be quite pleased to join your duo and form an appropriate trio." The words were littered with tinkling laughter, as well as slightly sweet tones with offbeats of honey, it was an appropriate mesh of her e showed two sides. It may have seemed a joke, but her face showed seriousness, as did her eyes, if they weren't so dark as to be void of emotion. She stood up, signaling how near they were to the closure of the topic, she had wasted enough of her daylight hours with these two, she was growing tired of the conversation. She had nearly become an introvert in her days alone and suddenly being immersed in this social contact was driving her mad. All she really wished to do was grab a good rabbit and build a den before twilight, she would have to hurry, she realized as she checked the afternoon sun. Spring meant the days were growing longer, but they had not yet reached the lengths of summer, when you could complete much in a day, traveling many miles before the sun set.
She checked the eyes of her new companions, not wanting to miss something in her hurry to leave. She would not rudely leave a loose string, she must finish her duties before retreating to the comfort of a yet to be made den. Her eyes missed nothing in the exchanges of eye contact and body posture. She was growing rigid do to her prolong position of sitting, her tail was low and ears alert, all acceptable in the company of two warriors like herself. |

| A smile and a grin, albeit slight. So she was hiding something. His only path was to find out what. Tye didn't believe in fantasies but he had seen females whose minds had been addled. Perhaps Cassiopeia was one of them. That was okay. Such was life after all, with all its little surprises. And there was another with Silacea's sudden relaxation. She seemed friendlier so Tye poked with one of his loveable trademarks. Fire, aim. "With that attitude you can't lose," Tye said, his expression was absolutely serious but it was misleading. His usual countenance was indifferent, not very much emotional for he used his body more for that. Those words had been laced with sarcasm for hope and ambition was great but it was only the beginning. He had seen hope dashed by reality, ambition stray by feelings of inferiority and incompetence. The first, was inevitable sometimes but the second was just a mental game. He would be interested to see if none of those things robbed her of her goals. If it did, he would not care much and if it didn't, he would welcome the new improved Silacea as her newly, absolutely best self. He rose easily, smoothly to all fours casting his icy gaze to Cassiopeia once more. In truth he had not killed a single wolf since that white one before he had joined the pack. He had however injured and blinded two that had come close to stealing his food but not killed. He wouldn't like to kill Cassiopeia, not if he didn't have to for he believed she would make a useful asset with her ability to feign emotions and twist words. She could have played an innocent damsel in distress or the scorned vixen, or even their dearly departed Alphess had her coat been the same shade. She had the duality down to perfection, her mask slipping back into place to give way to her dulcet tones that seemed to represent her practiced angel.
As she rose, he let his tail come to a stop his gaze thoughtful, prying almost. It seemed abrupt, her movement as if she had finished her mission whatever it was and now sought to retreat back into the sanctuary of solitude and self-contemplation. Whatever her reason, he respected her wishes as he desired nothing more than to return to his own musings at the moment. She was a puzzle he only needed the final key for and he would rip out whatever secret she was hiding in due time. He would make sure of it. He said with a brief nod to the both of them, "Then I will see the both of you at Shallow Bend after sunrise, when the sun is at its highest at the river-side. Listen for my call and follow it." His last words were a warning,"Just don't get lost or you'll die." With that he turned and padded away, sealing the deal with his parting words and actions. He would have to go stock up the kill-pile, for he would be away for an indefinite amount of time and have to work triple as hard to compensate. |
