| Kokoro looked around, he had been searching for herbs all day in case the pack needed anymore and decided to wander around. He really liked his pack and all but he felt like taking a small break. He wondered if any of the healers hunted, he has hunted before when he was on his own for small game and thought he would find something to eat. Looking around he saw a deer, it was small and fragile but not what Kokoro was looking for, he decided to move on when he saw a rabbit. It was perfect prey for him alone, and so he went for it. Slowly moving so the wind was blowing towards himself he stalked towards it. A bird made a warning before he could get and and made it twitched its ears a little before darting into a nearby rabbit hole. "Stupid birds" Kokoro grumbled to himself before deciding that he should just relax. He went to the lake and let himself slip into the cold water, it felt nice even though it was cold he had been working all day. He turned to the treeline when he heard a rustle of leaves, a deer walked over to the lake and dipped its head in the water. How has this deer survived even a year of life if it just ignores Kokoro, it lifted its head and turned back to the tree's but stopped dead in its tracks, it was scared. Kokoro watched thoughtfully while he stood in the water and kept looking at the deer and back at the wood, back and forth until a scent trickled at his nose. Another wolf was near, and it seemed to be from a different pack!
[sorry it took so long I got distracted] |

| [Lol, np, happens to all of us]
A black fae lay montionlessly beside Mirror Lake, seemingly asleep, though that wasn't the case. Simply thinking, resting, restoring her energy. She lay still for several more minutes, before gathering her legs under her, rising to her paws, and arching her back, stretching. It gave a satisfying pop as she leaned forward, paws stretching as far from her body as possible, muscles expanding. Jaws opening, she yawned and returned to her normal height, ears standing alert and flicking back and forwards. The she-wolf froze, a growl rising in her throat as she caught scent of something. Two somethings. Ariste walked slowly, paws padding over the earth. She slipped into a stalking position, belly almost touching the ground, paws hovering her over the earth. Her ears pushed towards the front of her head, listening closely with all their power. She took a deep breath, focusing. 'A deer, and a...Helidos wolf? A male helidos wolf?' she narrowed her eyes, limb reaching out, and dragging her towards the scents, silent. Not that her fur helped hide her any, but even if the other wolf scented her, he probably couldn't see her yet. With that in mind, she rose slightly, walking cautiously, head twisting to see her surroundings. Her unique silver and gold orbs roved over the earth, before looking back up. She stopped, as she scented the wolf and deer very close. Turning ever so slowly, she looked around to see a terrified deer staring at another wolf. She looked to meet the brute's eyes, before turning her attention to the deer. She flexed her hind legs, ready to pounce upon the creature, paying no heed to the Male. She could deal with him later. In a spit second the ebony whirlwind leapt, twisting to latch onto the maw of the doe, teeth making contact with it's shoulder instead. She growled eyes narrowing, as she clenched her teeth, refusing to lose this catch. Dropping, she gave the other wolf a glare with a lopsided grin, fangs red, before turning back to the deer. "You going to help? Or what?" She asked, though she didn't care, she was curious of this brute's abilities. |

| Kokoro stopped looking into the woods when a ebony fae jumped out and had latched onto the deer, she had asked him a question and he nodded. He was just a healer and this would be his first time after a deer but he was not going to refuse to help. Even if this was an Erenyx, his first encounter with an Erenyx wolf and the first time hunting a deer. How else could this get any better? He looked at the wolf and watched her form as she flew through the air towards the deer. If he was going to help he might as well get the form right, if he didn't he knew what could happen. Or if he attacked in the back of the creature he could get hurt too. Many wolves he had treated thought they could recklessly attack a deer from behind and faced the consequences, they had mostly broken bones or even have got bucked in the head and suffered brain damage and had to be killed. He soon jumped at the deer and bit deep into its flanks making it hard for it to kick with that leg but hurting it enough to make a bigger blow on the deer. Kokoro back up then jumped at it again, letting his teeth dig into the neck damaging it enough to let the fae finish it herself. He knew the fae, being from Erenyx, could have taken the doe by herself but he still felt the need to help whether he was a healer or the strongest warrior on earth. |

| Ariste watched the brute with interest, as he attacked the deer. While he didn't do half bad, he just seemed.. awkward at it - not in the sense he couldn't do it right, but as if he had never come this near a deer before, or tried to take one down. Suddenly she spied her chance, as this new wolf, as he sank his fangs into the Doe's neck. Her coiled legs shoved her body off the ground, cold air tearing at her flesh as she soared through the air, a mere blur of fangs and fur. Her jaws parted, as she twisted, clamping heavily upon the deer's throat, taking it's life. She release her grip as the now dead animal collapsed, dropping painfully to the ground, sliding into a crouch to lessen the blow as she dropped to the cold, hard earth. She straightened, glancing between the deer and the wolf. Now she assumed a defensive position, ears pinning. "Who are you?" She asked, voice deepening from it's usual lilt. Her eyes narrowed, lowering her head. Everyone was an enemy until proven otherwise, and Ariste would stick by this. She pawed the cold ground, raising her eyes to bore into his. "Well? What is your name and rank, Helidos brute?" She demanded, but loosened slightly, he couldn't be too much of a threat. Her lip pulled upwards, revealing the tip of her fang as she awaited an answer. |

| Kokoro watched as the fae took her chance and killed the deer. He looked down at it and smiled, for the first time he actually helped kill a deer. It was funny thinking that a wolf of his age had never killed a deer before but that was mainly his ranking and being a lone wolf for awhile. It never required of him killing a deer or even setting foot near one unless it was to eat it, it almost seemed odd. But he put that to the side when the fae spoke. She seemed harsh, her voice seemed very darkening and made him want to growl back when he spoke but he kept calm and let his eyes shine, he was happy after all and wanted her to see that she could not stop his happiness by being so rude. "Me? Well I am Kokoro, Healer Kokoro for your information. May I ask who you are?" He spoke softly, his voice sounding as smooth as honey. It was a shame to think that many of the stronger wolves could have used their strength for good instead of evil, but that was the way they lived and he for sure did not want to interfere with that. He lowered his back half down into a sitting position and looked at this wolf in wonder, how did she feel in her pack? |

| She narrowed her eyes in a glower, but lowered her lips. She curled her tail in authority, watching the other wolf. She frowned as he answered, and wrinkled her nose. "If you must...You can call me Ariste, I'm a warrior of Erenyx." She said, but sat back, resting her haunches, tail sweping in a circle to curl around her legs. She gave Kokoro a glare, before turning, and lowering her head to the carcass. She opened her mouth, taking a bite of the meat. She savored the taste of it sliding down her throat, a grunt of satisfaction escaping her mouth as she licked the remainders off her muzzle. She glanced at the Healer briefly, tilting her ears towards him. "I don't suppose you would like some?" She questioned, her voice back to normal, but still a little harsh. Without waiting for an answer, she reached down, sinking her fangs into the doe again, pulling a large peice off, and swallowing it. She took several more bites, each seeming more delicous than the last. She finally rose to her paws, and walked towards the water. Lowering her head, her nose touched the freezing water, and her tongue flicked out, swallowing mouthfuls of the water. She raised her head, water dripping from her jowels. She turned back to Kokoro, swiping her paw over her muzzle. She narrowed her eyes again, but not in a glare, this time sizing the wolf up. After a moment, she pushed her ears forward and stopped glowering. "What's a healer such as you doing out here?" She finally asked calmly, voice lilting, but strong. His smiling annoyed her, but she ignored it for the moment. |

| He let his face calm and let his face go straight, she asked him of what he was doing out here. Well what do healers usually do, look for herbs and heal. He stood and let his tail lay limp behind himself. "Well Warrior Ariste, I was exploring the lands and seeing if there was any herbs out here. I have been searching all day and came across this lake. I am taking a break from work for a bit." He turned to the deer and said, "I will have some thank you." He lowered his head to the deer and thanked it for its life then let his teeth dig into it, slicing a piece off and swallowing it. His eyes shone as he ate some of the deer. Its succulent meat slid down his throat and made him want more, he took two more bites and looked back at Ariste. "May I ask what you are doing out here?" It annoyed him that she was all up in his business and so he was going to do the same with her. There was no reason to ask him such a dumb question, he went over to the area he had put the herbs and dug through the snow and into the dirt. He grabbed the herbs he found and walked back to where he stood next to the deer. Setting the herbs down he observed the warrior. She was a smaller sized black wolf with a long tail, she had small paws and a couple scars on her and golden eyes with silver specks. She seemed like a quite strong wolf and maybe very agile. A good warrior and hunter indeed. He focused back on her completely and waited for her to answer. |

| She watched as he took three bites of the meat. She considered attacking him, then and there, a feral gleam in her eyes, but didn't, knowing this wolf would not fight. In truth it was a stupid question, but she wanted to observe his reaction, making sure he wasn't lying about his rank. And also wanted to annoy him a bit, the latter being most of the reason. Her lips twisted to a scowl as he asked his question, but decided to humor him. "I don't have to answer to the likes of you, a Healer of Helidos, of all wolves, but I will. I'm not training at the moment, and so I came here to keep a look out for prey and relax. Alone. When I was disturbed from a rest by a Helidos wolf." She replied coolly, but calmly. She wasn't mad specifically at him, just irritable and annoyed in general. She narrowed her eyes, as he seemed to inspect her, eyes running over her frame. She growled slightly, simply a warrior growl, and purposely flexed her muscles, pinning her ears, and he seemed to focus back on her. She turned her head, eyes meeting his in a steady, unnerving stare, for a few moments, before dropping her gaze. 'Why are you wasting your time on such a wimp, pup?' The harsh voice in her head whispered. She clenched her jaw, lips trying to form words. "I have nothing else to say to you." She finally spat, looking up at him. 'Good pup...you don't need to spend your time with Healers who can barely hunt and fight for themselves.' The voice cooed, as Ariste turned to look over the lake, eyes blank. "Unless you have something to say to me? Some other meaningless question to ask?" She lowered her head, rolling her shoulders, then placing her paws far in front of her, leaning forward and stretching, her spine making a popping noise. She turned back to look at Kokoro expectantly, standing straight up. |
