Nyx's head was bent to the ground, her small black nose following the scent of the pack to it's heart. Ivory ears flickered, listening for the shuffling of any pack members. The young fae's sister, Ember, was supposed to show her the clearing but Nyx insisted she go alone. She was going to report to her older sister once she had made den, for the little female was going to throw all she had into being the best warrior possible. The young fae took no notice in her appearance whatsoever, only because it did not matter. Her eyes were heretochromatic, with the left on a sapphire blue and the other a fiery amber. A pale ivory coat covered her small, graceful limbs. As she moved from the shadows the the light, her pelt flickered from glowing to dull with every change of lighting.

As the scent of other wolves got stronger, Nyx's heart fluttered in excitement. She had never felt that way about her old pack, but that was probably because she was an assassin. In her old pack, the small fae wasn't even allowed to be seen in case enemies chose to attack. A small smile brightened the young fae's face, giving her a more welcome appearance. Coming to the very edge of the clearing, Nyx took in the smell of so many wolves. She could pick out her sister's scent immediately. Not daring to come fully into the clearing, she feared she would be interrupting something. Instead she nervously stepped towards it and called out softly.

"Hello?" The young fae's voice possessed a musical lilt and was smooth. The sass she had in her wasn't present in her tone now like it had been at the border. That was where she had met her older sister, and Nyx smiled at the memory. She had found her only living family, and a huge weight felt like it had been lifted. Peering into the clearing, she stepped nervously forward. Two steps into the heart of her new pack, she stopped and silently looked for a hint of life.

Her eyes fluttered open, gleaming with a dark sapphire glow against the gloomy morning light. The bitten creamy ear on her skull pierce against her head along with the other at the sound of tapping on the muddy clearing floor outside her den. Rain... Her nose lifted and the sweet smells of the water flooded through her nostrils along with the pack's scent. Kennedy stretched out her long legs and let out a tiresome yawn, then stretching her upper muscles before emerging out into the rain for hunting. Head first, she peeked her eyes out from the den and scanned the clearing cautiously in spite of seeing any movement of others before moving. She never enjoyed one's company, especially a brutes, so she tended to analyse her surroundings more than she should. Raindrops dampened her back as she lingered her build out of the den and her paws sunk into the mud below her, making her creamy feet a greyish brown. "Gross." Kennedy furrowed her brows at the feel of the goopy slimy stuff on her. Hopefully should could get it off before anyone saw her.

She turned her head at the sudden hello of another wolf, the sound echoed through the clearing in a cheerful voice. Great, one more wolf to ruin my days of being here. Her welcome the the border wasn't all that satisfying for it was the presence of a fae with the name of Esmeralda and a rather arrogent brute named Steele. Dark sapphire eyes trained on a white figure come into view at the edge of the clearing. Kennedy decided to stroll away, avoiding the fae but her mind told her otherwise. Be a little friendly why don't you... maybe she needs a friend.. She shook her head at the annoying thoughts that talked inside her head and surrendered under them for it was her mind that lead her here in the first place. Before speaking she shook out her damp, cream pelt and averted her gaze to the white fae. "Hello, fae..." A bit of annoyance flew through her tone. The fae's scent wasn't very strong, so Kennedy supposed that she was just accepted not long ago, like her.

As Nyx waited, her mind drifted off to other things. She had been born the opposite of her name on the outside, but definitely on on the in. Being the assassin of her old pack only encouraged her murderous ways. Like a switch, the young fae learned quickly how to turn her emotions on and off. Flicking her thoughts to her sister, Nyx wondered if her sister was the same. Shaking off those thoughts, the young fae shivered at a breeze blew by her small frame. Rain was heavy in the air, she could smell it like the strongest scented of flowers. Her pale ears flickered forward as a movement in the corner of her sapphire eye caught her attention. Turning her small body in the direction, Nyx noticed the creamy fae with deep blue eyes. Just by her scent, the young fae could tell that this fae hadn't been here long either. Curling the tip of her pale tail, Nyx tilted her head in curiosity towards the other fae.

As the other fae grew closer, their appearances were obviously different. While the other fae held a creamy pallor to her fur, Nyx's own pelt was blindingly pale. The other female's deep blue eyes were almost hypnotic, while Nyx's eyes were two of a different color. The left eye being a bright sapphire blue, while the right was a fiery amber. Nyx's different colored eyes flicked over the female warily, wondering if she posed a threat.

Curling her pale tail slightly, Nyx looked at the other female curiously. As the other fae spoke, Nyx could hear the annoyance. The young fae hadn't meant to bother anyone. Looking into the other wolf's eyes, Nyx spoke. "Hello. Who might you be?" In her old pack, she had watched wolves address newcomers. They never spoke their name, but asked for the other wolf's first. Doing that was a strategy all in its own, determining if the other wolf meant harm. Not giving their name meant that they would possibly pose a threat, and Nyx was testing this other fae before she made any advances in friendliness. Nyx wasn't stupid, she knew enough not to trust another on first sight. Looking at the other wolf with her different colored eyes, she waited for the other fae to speak.

One of her brows arched as she scanned the fae's features slowly sharpening as she came closer. Her pigment of her fur was as pale as the winter's snow, Kennedy's attention was caught by the strange eyes the fae had possessed. One was a gleaming sapphire while the other held an amber glow of fire. Interesting.. If she had been inherited the fae's strangely different eyes the pack would exile her for being some sin, frankly she didn't believe in such things for it was pathetic to do so from her mind. Thankfully, she was gifted with dark blue ones, followed with a elegant creamy coat that made other's jealous. Kennedy was surprised at the cheery fae not introducing herself first, but ignored it. Her tail lay carelessly and her build stayed straightened. "Warrior Kennedy. Don't you have a name?" The pale fae might have a cautious being but it made Kennedy feel irritated. She expected the newcomer to be more welcoming to her. Her anger went to a pause and the dark sapphire eyes of hers went glassy. You aren't an Elite anymore...

It had been a while since she had left a pack and she had expected others to almost bow to her presence. Kennedy had been the Elite back in her old pack and always supposed that others would respect her for her greatness. A painful feel pinched at the bite mark on her ear where her brother bit into and it brought the fae back to reality. Averting her blue gaze back to the strange colored eyed fae she took in a slow breathe. Have a little hospitality, she's new here.... A drop of rain dripped into her eye and she blinked a few times with her ears piercing against her skull. I hate spring... Everything about spring the fae hated. The mating, the colors, the smell and the thing she hated most was... rain. It left her days crappy out and always worsened her mood to a frustrating point that made her head hurt. She despised brutes, and she wasn't a big fan of the one female she met on her first day. Esmeralda... her thoughts hissed at the foul name as she waited for a reply from the strange wolf.

Her heretochromatic eyes remained locked onto the the other fae, allowing the female to look her over. If it had been a wolf Nyx was familiar with, they would know not show such scrutiny towards her. Yes, the pale fae knew she was different, but being examined made her want to lash out in irritation. Just standing there, allowing others to look at her sinful eyes made her blood boil. She had been hidden from the others in her old pack, her eyes were seen as sin to the elders. Just by looking at this other fae, Nyx could tell she thought highly of herself. She almost snorted in laughter. Nyx never thought herself anything more than a weapon, a creature made for fighting and killing. Who cared about appearance? As the other fae spoke her name, the way her tone asked if Nyx had a name made her want to snarl. She held back her snarl, keeping obliviously calm and self-controlled. "Yes, Kennedy, I do indeed have a name. I'm Nyx." She didn't believe the title of Apprentice was necessary, her obvious youth made it obvious. The young fae almost winced as she said her name. Jokes were constantly made about Nyx's name, and one more would make her lash out. Having to stand still was irritating her. All the energy she had was uncontainable. When Nyx was with wolves she was familiar with, no one would be able to stop her hyper nature.

Twitching her fluffy tail, Nyx almost sighed. At least the small movement would keep her from going mad with all her energy. As she looked at Kennedy, her pale head tilted in curiosity. What could make one so arrogant? Nyx's heretochromatic eyes practically glowed, dancing like blue and amber flames. As a drop of rain plopped onto her muzzle, a hint of excitement lit inside her. Rain, the thing both Nyx and her sister enjoyed so dearly. Spring was Nyx's favorite season, the pouring rain making her want to run. As another breeze passed her delicate nose, she could tell a storm was coming. It felt like a good omen, having storms that she loved so dearly come as she had just joined a new pack. Nyx's tail began to wag behind her, she couldn't keep the joy of the oncoming storm hidden within her. Hopefully her sister would feel the storm, and they would both be reveling in the rain and wind. A roll of thunder boomed across the sky, making Nyx's heart beat faster with the thrill of such a noise. Danger lurked behind such a noise, lighting a fire inside her heart.

"How long have you been here, Kennedy? Your scent has not yet been covered with that of the pack just yet, so it leads me to think that you are rather new." Nyx's voice sounded different. Instead of its usual flat tone, it now held a musical lilt. The weather was affecting her voice, making it brighten and sound happier. As she looked at Kennedy, her head tilted from side to side. Most laughed when she did that, her energy was too uncontainable. Tail wagging gently behind her, Nyx looked at the other fae as she waited for her to speak.

PostSubject: Re: Brand New Eyes (Open) Brand New Eyes (Open) Icon_minitimeMarch 13th 2013, 13:02

Her brow arched."Nyx..as in the daughter of Chaos? Hm.." She became lost in thought and had a grin of sinister on her face as she thought of the irony of her name. This Nyx wasn't much of a Nyx at all for she was a petite, young fae barely able to take down a large buck alone. Kennedy had always had a habit of underestimating others but it cannot be helped. She would of never expected her brother that she had known all her life to turn on her in spite of jealousy. The scar on her hind leg throbbed, bringing her attention back to reality and onto the little fae. "You don't seem like a Nyx, tell me.. Why did you claim such a destructive name." Her tail wagged without her control at the thought of maybe seeing a bit of surprise from the pale female, possibly knowing that there was a demon just waiting to be released. It sent an evil feel inside Kennedy and made her very curious to know.

A crack of thunder made her ears flick back and it only made her more infatuated for some reason that one could not tell. Kennedy hated the signs of spring with the rain always making her look a complete mess but the sounds of thunder and flashed of lightning always sent shivers up her spine. The rain poured down and the Earth beneath her was starting to weaken and sink a bit as little streams of water flowed past her paws. She felt the dirt become muddy and her claws sunk deeper into it, feeling the cool muck soak in to her pads. Her tail lifted from the ground so the sludge would catch onto her beautiful creamy coat. Kennedy's dark blue hues stayed on the childlike she-wolf in front of her with the opposite colored eyes beaming with excitement at the hear of thunder. They seemed to have something in common, something Kennedy would of never expected from such a fae so different from her. "As for the time I've been here, a couple of days. Long enough to finish a den and settle in. Are you enjoying your time in the pack? I figured you would of met someone by now."

She thought about the two wolves she met at the border. The dark large brute wasn't all the pleasing to her eyes but he made the sassy fae leave before a fight broke between her and the other. Esmeralda was the type of female Kennedy despised the most, she tended to teach lessons to such faes inorder to straighten their point of views of her. When she was the Elite in her older pack, other faes were of course jealous that she had received the rank but treated her with forced respect even though they hated her. Kennedy wasn't always such a careless fae, she used to be innocent and respecting. Modo changed it all and it had taken permanent on Kennedy, making her cruel and unfriendly. "If you ask if I have met anyone worth while, no. I was welcomed by two inconsiderate beings and didn't care much for either. The one Beta wasn't too bad but he only cares about himself. I advise avoiding the one female as well, Esmeralda I believe." If the creamy fae could manage one ally to trust her opinions, she would be willing to be her teacher. Back home she taught many growing pups how to hunt and find herbs so they too could be sufficient warriors.

Nyx almost rolled her heretochromatic eyes at Kennedy's comment. It truly irritated her that others had to so obviously point out that her name didn't attach to her appearance. They would think to be considerate enough to know that since she had to live with her name, she would know more than anyone else that her appearance didn't fit with her name. The last fae she had met sis that, and now this one. The young fae's amber and blue eyes brightened with irritation, but she tried her best to answer in the calmest manner possible. "Yes, I know my appearance matches horribly with my name. My parents named me as some joke. No, my name doesn't fit me at all." Her voice practically dripped with sarcasm. Under her petite frame, Nyx was dark. She was underestimated all of the time. The only one who hadn't though so lowly of her was her sister. No, Nyx was crazy when that part of her came out. Manipulative and merciless, with a sharp mind. As a lighting bolt struck the sky, the thrill of the danger almost made her bristle.

As the rain poured, Nyx payed no attention to it. She welcomed it, the wonderful feeling of it soaking into her fur and to her skin. The dirt soon became mud, browning her pale paws. As Kennedy spoke again, Nyx's blue and amber hues flickered to the creamy fae. Nyx had only just arrived, unlike the creamy fae. As Kennedy finished, Nyx's eyes flashed. "I have only just arrived, but I wouldn't say the wolf I met at the border was at all pleasant. We would've been at each others throats if my sister hadn't stepped in." Nyx wanted to sputter with rage at the thought of that terrible fae she met at the border. Esmeralda had treated her like a scrap if flesh, like a lowly fool. Nyx wouldn't have attacked, but keeping her from her sister would've driven her mad.

When Kennedy spoke her name, Nyx let out a low and hateful growl. Nodding, she spoke. "Yes, Esmeralda. I didn't care for her at all. She is a wolf I could go the rest of my life without ever meeting again and I wouldn't care. I do not know of this Beta you speak of, but I'm sure I'll know soon enough. I am an apprentice in this pack, and my sister is supposed to train me. I don't want to disrespect my sister, but I have been planning to tell her she doesn't need to train me. Turning me into a warrior would only cause conflict between us, an we have only just met. I came to the clearing to make a den and possibly find a mentor, do you know of anyone who would be able to train me?" Nyx almost bristled in anger at being an apprentice, but she accepted it. She had never been taught to fight properly, so she fought wildly. Being an apprentice had its benefits, she could become and even better warrior than she was in her old pack. As the rain poured onto the pale body, Nyx shook out her fur. It stood up in serrated spikes, making her look like a small and deadly spike ball. While Nyx was dangerous, she was also very amusing. She often had others laughing with her antics when she wasn't angry. Looking at Kennedy, she waited for the creamy fae to speak.

PostSubject: Re: Brand New Eyes (Open) Brand New Eyes (Open) Icon_minitimeMarch 19th 2013, 13:06

"Joke?" She chuckled and dipped her head, shaking as her maw lay a humored smile as she sensed the sarcasm. Oh yeah, she could begin to really enjoy this young fae's company. "I wouldn't say your name is a joke, it could be a lot worse. My name doesn't fit me very well either, if you want to know the truth, I despise my name just as much as you do." She leaned in closer. Kennedy thought she'd never have to speak of the meaning of her name to anyone, but this fae could become a sudden interest to her eyes. "If you honestly want to hear the worst name yet, you've come to the right fae. The meaning of my name is"ugly." Now I'm not saying I'm the prettiest wolf in the world but, surely I'm not the ugliest. Other brutes had looked at Kennedy in strange ways with pleasure in their lifeless gazes. It was one of the many reasons she wished to not have a mate. All they cared about was just another innocent face to force upon. The creamy female stepped back and shook out her pelt, sending raindrops flying uncontrollably everywhere.

She trained her ears on the young fae before her as she spoke with a rather musical and energetic tone. Nyx's voice annoyed her. How could one be so cheery. When Kennedy was an Elite, she used her free time when she wasn't with the others and Alpha to teach Apprentices. But never had she had seen such a gleeful fae like her. At that moment, Kennedy knew who Nyx was talking about. Esmeralda. She nodded. "Believe me, if it wasn't for the Beta's presence, I'm sure I'd have the wolf on the ground as well." She frowned when the fae mentioned a sister. All the she-wolf thought of was the giant brute that attacked her.... her brother. His vengeful-filled amber eyes stared directly into her as he clawed away and chewed her ear. She could still feel it all, like as if she was stuck in that horrible moment. Kennedy closed her sapphire eyes and bobbed her head along to Nyx's opinions over the ashen fae she met at the border. Her eyes opened again once she mentioned that she was an apprentice. "Sadly, I don't. I could teach you, but now that I am a new warrior, I have less free-time to be mentoring. If I'm not mistaken, I think Steele would be willing to be your mentor. He might have a soulless heart, but it's not hard to see that he is a true fighter."

Her expression was blank at the brute's name. Every male that every laid their eyes or even talked to her since her encounter with Modo she displayed hatred, growling and baring her teeth in response. Rain poured down and flash in the skies made her eyes gleam a dark sapphire. Her fur felt so damp from the spring morning rain that it stuck to her skin. She felt constricted in her own pelt, Kennedy needed to move. Creamy ears perked up at the sound of a hare burrowing only a few yards away and her stomach constricted out of hunger. "I'll be right back." Kennedy shifted around the Apprentice and trotted into the darkness within the trees that surrounded the clearing. She crouched low, stepping over anything that could make a sound. Thunder boomed above her but the hare burrowed away without a care, not even hearing the silent, creamy fae linger closer. Her scent picked up by the hare and it pounced into a rapid sprint. Kennedy darted after it, letting out a growl and her maw curled into a sinister smile. The fae's hind legs dug into the muddy surface and it lifted her in to the air on top of the large hare. Her jaw locked around it's tiny neck and jerked back. The crack of thunder matched with the snapping of the neck perfectly. Bloodlust filled sapphire eyes brightened as blood trickled onto her tongue.

She happily trotted back, the prey swayed lifelessly from her mouth. Kennedy set it down near Nyx's feet and ripped off one of it's limbs. After dropping the hare's leg-bone, she licked her chops, nudging the small game closer to Nyx. "Here." It'd been ages since the fae had been so friendly to one. In the luck of the young fae, she deserved a little hospitality from her.

As the alabaster fae listened to the Kennedy, a small laugh left her. Ugly? Why on this earth would name a wolf that looked like Kennedy ugly? Nyx liked her own pale fur, but she never counted herself more than average. Sure, she had two different colored eyes, but Nyx never thought she would look beautiful or even angelic. Kennedy, in Nyx's opinion, was both. The young fae was sure that Kennedy would've had a mate by now if it wasn't for how hateful and closed off she seemed to be. Slowly, Nyx could see Kennedy opening up to her, relaxing in Nyx's company. The young fae smiled at her, happy to be making a friend so early in her acceptance to her pack. She had hoped that her appearance wasn't seen as sinful, with her one amber eye and one blue eye. That was what would get her shoved away from the borders of other packs. Smirking, Nyx spoke. "I guess we were both the oddballs who have names the don't fit how they look."

Nyx nodded at Kennedy's words agreeing with everything she the creamy fae said. The ivory fae hated Esmeralda, for the silver fae made her outstandingly angry. When Kennedy said something about the Beta being her mentor, Nyx smiled slightly. "I will see about that. Once I have a mentor, I will be throwing all of myself into being the best I can be. I don't care how harsh whoever trains me is, it will only benefit in my learning." When Kennedy said that she would be back, Nyx nodded silently. Her different colored eyes turned to her surroundings. It was a great place to make a home. Rain soaked Nyx's pelt, making her look even smaller. A flash of creamy fur alerted her of Kennedy's presence, bringing Nyx out of her reverie. The hare the the creamy was carrying caused a growl from the young fae's stomach. When the hare was dropped in front of her, Nyx's mouth water. Nyx's opinion of Kennedy immediately became better. "Thank you. I appreciate it." Bringing the hare close to her, Nyx ate. The splash of blood touched her mouth, satiating her hunger. As she ate, the young fae's eyes turned to the cramy fae before her as she waited for Kennedy to speak.

"I haven't seen such a determined young fae like you in years. Usually all the apprenticed I mentor don't even bother to lift some weight around my previous pack. Don't get me wrong, I was a great mentor. Almost all of my students became amazing warriors. When I came across one fae in need of some serious training, she gave it her all and resulted to being my star-pupil, working along my side with the other Elites and Deltas." Kennedy glanced to her left at the tree that stood over her den. It was a large tree, with lush emerald leaves and dark brown bark covering it's trunk, it was just like any other tree. Her ADHD managed to consumer her in those few minutes as her dark blue pools scanned the large tree in sudden interest. A creamy, tattered ear flicked back along with her other ear against her small skull as she talked with a faint tone. "I'm sure you'll be a great warrior like them someday..." Her eyes appeared glassy as her thoughts were lost deep into her own little world.

Some would say she was trying to ignore them but she was a part of it, nothing she could change. Even before Modo attacking her, she always had this strange case that led her to zone out from reality into another dimension. Truely, it was sad for the fae. The attention disorder she possessed made her unable to listen and notice her surroundings. Her brother's jealousy revolved around her disorder and grew to him attacking her since she had won the position of being an Elite with him only being a Warrior. She was so innocent before Modo's revenge over rank, and now it had all changed her into a sneaky, evil fae. Little ounces of what she used to be still remain, but only Nyx had brought it out since she was almost half her age and didn't deserve to be cruel to. She blinked back the dryness in her eyes from daydreaming so long and turned her attention back onto the pale fae.

"You're welcome. I don't need much to eat anyway, I was just heading out for my rounds like usual, maybe pick up a meal to bring back home on the way. How are you enjoying your time here? I haven't had time to explore, but I'd rather not at this point. If at anytime of time there were to be a presence of this arrogant Esmerelda, I'd like to avoid any costs of wondering around." It wasn't that she didn't want to explore the packs lands it was the likelihood of seeing that bitch again without someone to interfere. Kennedy had hatred over that fae, if the ashen fae ever got close to her or even bothered to try to make her obey under her, there will be blood. She wasn't afriad of the fae at all, and she sure as Hell wasn't afraid to kill her on site. Her creamy maw stretched into a sinister smile and her sapphire eyes sparkled.

Nyx nodded, listening to Kennedy's words. "Like I said, when I get a mentor I will be throwing all that I have into my learning. I've never been properly taught. In my old pack, I was isolated from all of the others." Nyx inhaled deeply, finding the exact spot where her sister had taken up a den. Moving forward into the clearing more, she took residence underneath a tree. A small laugh came from her maw. "I guess I can't make den now with this rain. I'll just have to wait it out." Nyx peered up into the sky's cloudy depths, trying to gauge when the thundering storm would stop. It didn't look lit the ending point of the storm would be anytime soon, but Nyx had no problem exploring until she could make a den of her own. When she was a loner, Nyx had no den and she slept in alcoves. Sometimes just the ground would have to suffice, but she didn't care. Shaking out her wet pelt, it spiked up and made her look like a hedgehog. Nyx quickly shook it back into place, but knew that once she had to shake more moisture out of her fur that it would become spiked again. Kennedy's words brought her out of her drifting mind, smiling st the comment the creamy fae made. Nyx wanted to be a great warrior, to protect her pack and be like the warriors she oh so admired.

At Kennedy's words, Nyx's ivory ears perked up. She had eaten the hare, but was still thankful the the creamy fae would be kind enough to feed her. Nodding her pale head, Nyx spoke. "I am enjoying my time so far, but I wont let Esmeralda stop me from exploring. I want to know what lies farther away from here, what all the pack lands have to offer. How has your time here been? Is it an ideal place to make a home?" Nyx was an adventurer at heart, no rude fae or storm could stop her. That thirst for adventure would get her in trouble eventually, but Nyx was prepared for it. Of course, she would have to meet the other pack members and she wasn't worried about her well being. Nyx was worried about theirs, with her ability to be so energetic it could make one's head spin. On a good day, she was a whirl wind of alabaster fur. Looking at Kennedy, Nyx let a small smile slip onto her face as she waited for the creamy fae to speak.

She looked down at the dark mud around her. Kennedy chuckled at her response. "Yeah, it wouldn't be the smartest thing to do..." The goop was sticking to her vanilla cream coat, making her feel constricted and truly irritated. Nyx was much younger than her, and still needed proper training before any important huntings. With the right assistance, there was a high likely chance that she will become a great warrior next to her someday. Kennedy didn't care for her deeply, but could get used to the Apprentice's cheerful ways and share the same hatred over the ashen fae. A bright flash caused her sapphire eyes to squint. Lightning. Rain had been her top pet-peeve with it's power to soak one's beautiful coat and make wolves feel uncomfortable. However, if it was a warm evening and all the weather showed was lightning in the pasture, she'd watch from somewhere alone, in utter silence.

"It's been... boring to tell you the truth. I have very little respect for most of the pack members. My duties are always completed everyday and I get my belly full before I go to sleep. Luckily, you're just a young fae looking for guidance. Most of the time I'd ignore and go on with my business." She winked. "I'm just that nice." It was true, Modo had changed her by a landslide, but she had still managed to have parts of the old Kennedy still locked deep within her. If it weren't for the fae being so young, Kennedy would just bare her teeth and go on away to her business. Her ears perked up at a sudden thought. "Tell you what, I was just heading out to do my rounds, but since it's too shitty out to welcome anyone anyway, would you want to accompany me to the swamp? It's the only place that I know for sure the arrogant fae won't go, plus I hear there are some monsters laying in the murky waters. If I'm not mistaken, it shouldn't be that far from here." She nodded to her right in the direction of the swamp and arched a challenging brow. "Unless you're too afraid. I understand." Nyx bowed her head down, smelling the ground as she listened to Kennedy. Her sister's scent was there, but it was faint. The young fae nodded her head in agreement with the creamy fae, eyes widening when Kennedy asked her to go to the swamp with her. Nyx knew it was dangerous, and a thrill went down her spine. "I am never afraid, Kennedy. Monsters lurking around don't scare me, I've had to deal with all kinds of monsters in the short period of my life. I appreciate you being so kind as to stop to talk to me, seeing as I am an apprentice and do not have a rank such as yours." Standing up with determination, Nyx began walking to walk through the rain and towards the camp exit. She would prove to Kennedy that she didn't fear, but had the thrill of danger. This ivory had played with a badger and came out with scratches, smiling at the fact she had even played with such a creature. Wagging her tail behind her, Nyx trotted gracefully to the swamp.
