Could it be that perhaps even he could be a splendid creature of nature? He liked to believe he was loved by few, although he also saw himself to be none of their favorites. When it truly came down to it, were his 'friends' really trustworthy, and if so, why did he feel the need to become so attracted to others so easily? For a rogue who asked a lot of questions and loved prying into other's lives, he could hardly figure out his own - though how could he, his mind practically blocked every thing that enabled a sane wolf to control. The brute of gluttony was plagued eternally, a sensitive side to him was sure to show as he wondered why he even cared to know such a thing in the first place. But he was enchanted by a wolf that has little to do with him, which made the other even more desirable and mysterious about them. The thought alone of their face made butterflies in his lower abdomen, a giddy laugh soon to echo into the territory surrounding him as he wandered on silent paws.

At first notice of the soft lavender under his nose, he leaned down and burrowed into the meadow with his face against the ground, slinking the rest of his body until he was completely flat. The plush flowers of soothing odors cleared all those questions of his mind, which wasn't hard to begin with being that his moon took dramatic turns quite frequently on its own. He simply held nothing else better to do with his time, thus why he ended up in random places such as this. Perhaps he could've been wiser with tracking wherever he went, but what was the fun in that? He watched the clouds roll on whilst on his backside looking up, his one ear and a half flicking back as the flowers would graze the shape of them, while the remaining of his body was framed and edged perfectly in the bed of lavender shades. Believe it or not, he felt most at home when he was alone and looking at the sky. But as he thought of a particular wolf, there was no place he'd rather be than with them at this moment.

The clouds continued to roll on, and the rogue stayed simply at peace with what the world had to offer. Last he had been so relaxed was with a full stomach, a zesty little pup to fill him, as he was sprawled across the ice cavern's floor. That had been the most satisfying day yet, but her was prepared for more to come as fall was soon here, and winter was on their way. He made a cynical laugh to himself, high-pitched and too loud to be considered tolerable to anyone, but him. Mjölnir knew his most happiest times were those moments last spared with the wolf he thought so much for in his dreams. He sighed, but where was the lovely Desoto now as he thought of him in great detail. The contour of his face. The tone muscles woven into his body. The darkness in color to his pelt. The rogue groaned, how pathetic he was to let this happen, a pack wolf of all individuals at that, but no, he was not like any of them, thought he. Tossing around like some adolescent fae with a petty little puppy crush, the lavender petals around him soon flattened under his weight. The bed he made only became wider the more he moved about.

That feeling soon was lost as the rogue overheard another approaching him. From what he could tell, this wolf was ungraceful in his efforts to get there, but he was fast, so he didn't comment. He remained still, that is, until the scent wafted closer to him. Mjölnir could feel his insides wrench and suddenly grow very hungry of blood. This was no ordinary wolf in his presence, was it, he asked himself, sure to know that this was a pup precisely which has wandered in his space. T'was like a small, innocent fly coming to land inside a venus fly trap - their life would not go to waste, he was sure of that, he thought as he slowly got up from his bed of lavender. A yelp screamed through the pasture, making the rogue pout his lip. This would be no fun now, he enjoyed a good chase - being that he was very notorious for playing with his food. A meal was a meal, he thought. He clicked his tongue, eyes of a golden amber glancing onto the figure that was helplessly stuck in the roots and ashamed of their greeting to the outcast. How cute. "I asked for a lover - and I got a meal instead?" Rolling his eyes, he gave a sassy sigh and shrug of the cold shoulder, "Perhaps this'll do.." said the rogue.

Putting one paw on the other's side, at least attempting to in the case to hold him down, Mjölnir reached forwards and opened his jaw. Though before he could allow it to close over the other's neck, the scent which the youth held was unfortunately too familiar for him to continue. He backed away in an uncertain, aggressive fashion, eyes widened in fear - though how could a rogue as mighty as he be afraid so easily by a single odor? "Desoto... but.. how could you.. why.." He felt internally betrayed by his own lover, though knew completely well that it would've never happened with him if he had the chance, and that a maiden had found a way into his lover's heart. He knew all of it, but refused to say it aloud. She had given him offspring, he could have only assumed. The rogue's heart cracked. He could not bring himself to do such a sinful act upon his own lover's genes, that is to say, that this pup was his after all. The image was haunting - for a first, Mjölnir didn't want to eat. If anything, his appetite had disappeared. "Who.. are you.."
